This jacket is perfect for cool/cold weather. It is lightweight, warm and comfortable. I wear this jacket to and from work and it looks dressy and I wear it walking our dog everyday and playing with the kids outside. It keeps me warm, dry and it looks GOOD. LOVE IT!

I love this jacket! I got this as a replacement for a down jacket. This is lightweight yet just as warm as heavier down. It's long enough to wear with a variety of tops. It has a great shape to it. It's not bulky, so it has a waist. The hood works. Even on windy days it stays on.

This is the coat I have been looking for! I needed something that was lightweight but warm. I bought 3 coats from other places and had to return them because the fit wasn't right. I did order this coat a size or two larger than I normallly would and it fit very nicely. A tad big but I can make adjustments to the waist with the drawstring. I have long arms and the sleeves are perfect. The coat keeps me warm without being bulky and hot. Pricey but I'm satisfied!

This jacket can be dressed up or worn casual. Great fit and length. Not to heavy and and the double zipper is great when sitting. The only problem I've had is the when unzipping the bottom zipper sometimes gets stuck. Overall I love this jacket.

Can roll it up and go, all weather jacket, love the color. Improvement needs to certainly be made on zipper quality, same issue on this coat as my longer coat from 2 years ago, I can't always get them to zip up or unzip easily

This coat came with a hole in the pocket and North Face handled it promptly and I received a new one in less than a week.

I use this coat for casual wear. It's great to throw on over my exercise wear for yoga and Zumba. It's also great for running errands. It's comfortable and light weight enough to leave on while driving between errands:)

Exactly what I was looking for. A warm, lightweight jacket for Midwest winters. I wear with business casual work clothes, running errands, or to and from the gym. Very versatile! I am toasty warm with no extra layers to down around 28 degrees. Anything colder, I throw on a fleece or base layer. Two ay zipper was a bonus!@

The ROSIN GREEN does not look like the one pictured. It's a very dark ARMY GREEN. I ordered it on line because no one carried that color in the stores. I thought it was going to be the color pictured. Only in the sunlight can you see it's green. I like the parka itself. But, I really wanted a lighter colored green. Not sure if I'm going to keep it.

This is beautiful, lightweight and warm ( I like it for Spring and Fall). The best part is that when I exercise I can remove it when I get hot and roll it up in a little ball to fit it in my backpack. This was a perfect choice for a light weight jacket yet warm enogh for cold temperatures. Easy to put in you bag when need it. Just a great choice overall.

I have this parka in black, raspberry, Lt grey, and I just ordered the Rosin Green. I love these parkas, I like the 2 way zipper, the light weight, the hood - keeps my hair dry, and the length. Great for shopping - you dont get overheated. I still have my down coats for extreme cold, but, most of the time I'm in these. I gave them for Christmas gifts to this last year. They are costly but worth it. I did notice they do come in XXL size now which is great if you need extra room to layer.

This is actually my 4th Thermoball parka, I love them so much. I have them in black, urban navy, ashes of roses grey, and now the deep lichen green. The color is very much like the olive/army green that is popular now in cotton parkas, but I love it in the thermoball fabrication. It is a little lighter than the rosin green or the balsam green, and will be a favorite for years.

I received it as a gift i wasn't to sure about the color but ive gotten so many compliments keeps me very warm and its light weight!

I didn't expect to use this Thermoball Hooded Parka, or love it, as much as I do. It's just so versatile, comfortable, lightweight, well fitting, flattering and surprisingly warm. It works for my daily bus commute/slight walk to work and is stylish enough for a casual workplace. It works for weekends and errand-running. It works for walks and walking to the gym. I expect it will be a wonderful travel coat. It doesn't get too hot once inside or on a bus, and stands up to light rain (the hood is comfortable, not too huge, and blocks light rain from falling on my glasses). For me, it feels warm down to the low 30s with the right layers on. The fit works really well on me -- I have broad shoulders, slim hips. I was originally worried that the black parka was too shiny but I got used to it and now prefer the shine to a more matte look - gives the coat a little extra oomph. I only wish there was a way to cinch the bottom hem for when it gets really cold and the wind kicks up.

So pleased with this parka! I just moved to Massachusetts from DC, and was feeling totally unprepared for winter. When this coat arrived I was really excited by how thin it is - as a Southerner, I'd been dreading the "puffy coat effect" - but also concerned that it wouldn't be warm enough for really low temps. Well, this morning it was 9 degrees F outside, and with wind chill it felt like -3. This coat kept me plenty warm throughout my 25 minute walk to work. It's also nice and reasonably stylish. The zipper does catch occasionally, but is easy to un-stick in a matter of seconds.

Lightweight and weatherproof

I use this product in a very casual manner but where I live is cold and snowy, so I stay warm with this coat. I wear my coats A LOT, sometimes even just sitting on my couch, it's so comfy.
