I've bought this style in the past and it's a very functional shoe. Kind of low on style, however, and boring colors. I have a severe over pronation problem and these work great. My issue is with the color and general style and design. It definitely looks like an orthopedic shoe. Come on Brooks, can you please step up the choices for us flat footed folks!

I have the Addiction 11 and the Addiction 12 is an improvement. It has more cushioning and fits my feet perfectly in terms of the arch, heel, and length. I have multiple foot problems (i.e. flat feet, neuropathy, plantar fasciitis, arthritis, etc.) and these shoes were comfortable right out of the box. I have preferred Brooks Ariel over the years because of their cushioning, but the Ariel 14 is horribly made and decided to try the Addiction 12. It is a Winner! Zappos is outstanding in their customer service and fast delivery as always.

These are great shoes for those who need extra cushioning, stability and comfort. I wear orthodics, and just had surgery on one foot! These are my go to shoe for everything! Look great with dress pants as well as jeans!

I have severe diabetic neuropathy and these shoes are so comfortable. I am able to be on my feet and work with these shoes. The toe width is excellent (no pinching or crowding) and the length is true to size also. I highly recommend these shoes!

Unfortunately these shoes have made the pain worse in my feet (plantar faciatis & arthritus). For the price I expect support. I should have returned them but accidently threw away the box. I do not recommend if you have CHRONIC foot issues.

Love these shoes! They are the most supportive and comfortable shoes I have ever purchased. I have flat feet and these shoes help me tremendously. Got many compliments on the color/style the first day I wore them.

I have been buying the Addiction for a number of years. This particular edition has very skimpy padding. Also seems narrow in the toe box. I am so disappointed.

I've worn these shoes with orthotics for at least six years after they were recommended by my physical therapist for foot pain. I have one pair of Addiction 12 that I got last fall and since they fit so well and I liked the color I ordered another pair a month ago. For some reason, the toe box is significantly narrower on this pair than with any of my past Addictions. I checked the size to make sure I had the D width and while it is marked D, it fits like a B. I moved back to my old pair to check and my toes have tons of room to wiggle and move. In this new pair they are pretty squished. I wonder if this shoe was mis-marked somehow. It is too late to return since I've been wearing them thinking they just needed a bit of time to relax...but no go, darn it!

I first purchased Addiction 10s on the recommendation of a friend in help with planter fascitious. A key was buying a size 1 size bigger than what I'd usually buy. They were so comfortable. Many years and many many pairs of Addictions later I'm still a believer. I use one pair for jogging on the treadmill and another for everyday kicking around. I'm not crazy about the Addiction 12 color, but the fit, comfort and support are excellent.

Due to a pronation issue, I began wearing Brooks Ariel at the recommendation of my physical therapist after knee surgery. The difference was amazing for me. As the price went up for Ariel, I decided to try the Addiction two years ago as it was about $20 cheaper. I have been very pleased with this shoe design and I have been purchasing it ever since. It is less "orthopedic shoe" looking than the Ariel, and my pronation issue is resolved with this shoe. I am a distance walker many days, about 5-6 miles, and I have comfort and utility with this shoe.

I love these sneakers. I am not a runner but I needed excellent cushioning and a wide toe box. I need these options for a Morton's Neuroma. I find I do not need my orthotics in these although they do fit comfortably. I ordered a 8.5 in a wide.I had tried many other athletic shoes in that size, but had to return them as the toe box was not wide enough. These are perfect. The navy color is great with jeans or sweats, as I did not want bright colors.

These are my absolute go to running sneakers. For anyone who needs extra support these are for you. They are hugely comfortable and have helped keep my plantar fasciitis at bay. Highly recommend.

Love these shoes, I bought 2 pair. I need arch support and these provide that. They keep my foot stable and I love walking in these. Super comfortable. I only wish there were more colors.

The footbed of this shoe irritated me. I never spent more for a running shoe and expected it to be more comfortable. Also, in my usual size of 9, I felt my toe rub up against the front in a way I never felt in any of my other shoes. I even put the other shoes on to see if maybe there was something wrong with my toe, but not. Just not for me, although I did like my posture in them very much.

I usually wear New Balance motion control shoes in both a wide and 2E depending on the orthotic I am putting in the shoe. I really liked the color of this shoe and thought I would try it. I found it really runs narrow, and a 2E was tight and would never work with an orthotic so I am returning them.

Love the fit,color,style. Have flat feet,bunions,etc. Problem wore hole in mesh within a couple of months.Only wear Brooks brand. wears better overall than most brands.I use orthotic.

Fit as expected. Not that stylish but functional and offers great support.

I love my Brooks and this particular shoe style is no different. I haven't worn them for working out but so far am not disappointed. I've got very difficult feet to fit... Size 11.5-12 and wide!

I have flat narrow feet. I ordered my normal size with the A width. They fit perfectly! I have plenty room in my toe area! They feel very supportive but with a little cushion.

I usually wear 8 with orthotics, and it was perfect size. I ordered both addiction and adrenaline from zappos, and I decided to will keep addiction pair as this one provides more room for my bunions. I had a food surgery and need firm soles and arch support even for walking, and this one is really the best. I hope brooks make more addiction line.

Wow. I have other Brooks, and I love them, but these are amazing. So very comfortable. I have autoimmune arthritis flares in my feet, and I seriously overpronate, so I needed shoes that were both stable and cushioned. These are perfect.
