I absolutely loved this jacket. It was my first Arcteryx which means I was jazzed by the fitment and quality. The material was super durable, washed back to original colour easily (I had bright yellow). Packed up small. The only downfall was the hood design. Since it is the LT, they decided not to have the side draw cords for the hood. This only left you with the back one. Each time I got caught in a heavy downpour the water would start streaming into the collar from the way it folded on the sides. I sent it in for warranty and they sorted me out. Great customer service.

this jacket is great. i was just looking for a waterproof jacket to go hiking with and this fits the bill. with proper layering underneath, i don't get too hot or too cold. also the hood is great!

I am from a rural location in British Columbia and I received by Zeta Lt jacket in the mail to find it had a very faint mark on it. I tried the jacket on around the house, it fit perfect so I took the tags off..I purchased the colour labyrinth and you can't really notice the mark, but I am very particular and it stands out a lot when it is zipped up! Overall the jacket itself has great features, great hood, durability is perfect aside from the pockets zipping downwards which is odd, and aside from the stain it came with. The inside pocket also does not fit an iPhone max pro. I

I really don't understand the "Trim Fit", the sleeves are great, shoulders too, but the hip part is way too tight ! I can barely close it when I have just a t-shirt and a layer under... I have to send it back, I can't wear it. Is there a "standard fit" alternative with this design?

After 2h of hiking under the rain of New Zealand, I opened the front pockets and they were full of water ! When I mean full, I mean it was like a pool, and my phone seemed to have a great time swiming in there... Apart from that, the goretex did its job and I stayed dry. That's a lightweight jacket, meant I think more as an emergency shell/lightweight jacket to put in your bagpack in case it might rain. otherwise, do not count on it as your main outer layer.

I've been losing sleep over the purchase of my first Arc'teryx jacket. And even though you have a great line-up of models, there is a clear gap! I love C-Knit. I want a c-Knit/70 Gortex fabric. But the Zeta AR is too long, and I don't care for/need the drawstring at the waist. But great!! fabric. So next, I really like the Zeta LT. But those colors! I can't wear that green even though i love it, white gets dirty, and black is no fun. So I'm not going to buy anything until I see better colors and/or more C-knit jackets for women in a standard jacket. Hurry up with that product development Arc'teryx!!!

I can't fault the craftsmanship of the jacket, and this review very much will be in respect of my personal taste in a rain jacket, so I would certainly recommend trying it on in store, but can't recommend buying sight un-worn from an online store. Weight and quality of the jacket is outstanding, and I really like the quality and feel of C-knit fabric, the less crinkly/Stiff feeling is what I've been waiting for in a rain jacket. Im 6'2 , with long torso, however I found the jacket cut a little long, others however may look for this in a rain jacket, so very much personal choice. I would prefer the jacket pockets lower, I understand they have been raised to be above a harness, but with a Osprey harness on a Atmos AG 65, I found the pockets unnecessarily high and uncomfortable. Also I would prefer the pockets, to zip down instead of up I didn't read about any material reinforcement on the shoulders, so I don't know if this will be a long life hiking jacket, with a pack. The biggest fault for me was the hood only had one cord for adjustment, which when you pull adjusts a cord tight around the top of your head, I really didn't like this type of adjustment and feel (others however may) Even though the hood didn't have a wired brim, I liked it more than a number of other jackets. Massive positive for me is the hood isn't helmet compatible, meaning less material for getting a good fit (I have and never will wear a helmet for the multi day hikes and day walks I go on) Would much prefer ARC'TERYX Storm hood cord adjustments on this jacket (but still leave the helmet compatibility out). Though I like the adjustments on the Marmot Cerro Torre Jacket more than ARC'TERYX Storm (simply because of the top cord adjustment on the ARC'TERYX, but I know many others do and will love this type of adjustment by ARC'TERYX)

This is the most comfortable and mobile hard shell I currently own. I have another 3L Gore-tex jacket sitting in my closet collecting dust because of how comfortable this is. The C-knit really helps if you only have a t-shirt on underneath. Durability is unquestionable and the fitment is perfect like 90% of their jackets. Since COVID I haven't gotten out much to use the Zeta LT more than I'd like. It has seen light drizzle 3 times so far. So much to my surprise, during my first camping trip since the lockdown, my Zeta LT wet out completely on the shoulders and back during normal rain while setting up camp. I know all jackets wet out after some use or during extended periods of moisture exposure but I was surprised to see dark, saturated spots on my jacket just 15 minutes into my camp setup. Not only that but I felt a very small pool of water in my left pocket once I was done setting up. No matter how comfortable, durable, or good looking a hard shell is, it doesn't mean much if it can't serve its main purpose: to keep water away. In its defense, it was completely dry in the morning underneath a tarp so it's nice to know it'll be ready in the morning the next time this happens. When I got home, I reapplied DWR after a good wash with ReviveX and will try again on my next trip. Wondering if I should've gone with the Zeta or Beta AR.

Have had this for about 6 months so thought it a good time to review. Fairly good on lighter rain but recently took this on an overnight hike and it wetted out after 45 minutes in the rain. My partner has the Beta which I guess comes with better fabric and she had no issues. Kinda disappointed by the performance given the price and Gore-tex. The fit is also very weird and boxy. Longer arms than normal and narrow fit on the chest. Very much regretting this one.

I tried probably a dozen or so jackets before keeping this zeta LT (past the return date). The fabric is nice and light which is probably it's best and worst quality. The lack of weight prevents the jacket from hanging properly and constantly seems to bunch up around the midsection, giving it a poor fit when you're doing anything other than standing in the mirror trying it on. with a backpack on, the entire jacket rides up and I'm constantly pulling it down (actually I do that walking from my truck to the house as well). The bottom hem is fitted, but too fitted.. it's actually restrictive in normal use. I am an athletic build, 6'2, 200 lb, wearing a size large. I am very disappointed in this purchase. I wish I had gone with the zeta AR which is a bit longer and heavier. expensive lesson to learn.

Love this jacket for hiking and around town. Want to let you know the color pictured in Dakini is much brighter than it actually this. Disappointed because I wAnt to keep it but the color is a very faded version. Looks faded out in the sun already and that's not what I expected considering the photo. If you want a dulled version you will like it. I'm 5'8", 160 pounds and size large is perfect fit, still able to layer Atom LT underneath

Save your money and buy the Beta SL. It's cheaper, breathes better and is mire quiet!
