Fashion meets function. These boots are super comfortable and look fabulous. I felt they run half a size big. After a few wears, the ankles slouch a bit. Minor comparing to benefits (warm, comfortable, and waterproof) I get compliments all the time!

I have been eyeing these boots for two seasons now, and finally bit the bullet and bought them. They are perfect in every way, except the sizing. The last size available was a 6½. I am generally a 6-6½ so I really hoped these would fit. Unfortunately, these boots run huge. I have thin ankles, and the wide ankle area caused my heels to lift. Even with thick socks, my feet were swimming. Zappos was sold out of size 6 so I had to find them on eBay. I highly suggest sizing down at least a half size. Other than that, they are exactly what I wanted. And, these are indeed very comfortable!

These are the BOMB! I love them so much I want the short ones now. These are perfect for everyday b/c they're stylish and practical for the winter. What a combo! I get compliments on them all of the time. Great heel height, good treads. Look really cool w/skinny jeans.

Great boot. Totally water resistant and had no problems walking in deep snow. Received lots of compliments on the style as well. Size was accurate - I have slim calves and thin ankles but have had no problem getting these boots over thick socks and bulky jeans. The ties allow them to open up wider for those who might need that option.

I am very disappointed in this purchase. I have only had these boots for about a month and the seam holding together the toe box and the suede has already begun to rip. These were really expensive and so I expected them to be better quality. I wish I could get a replacement pair, but since I've already worn the boots, I can't return them.

These are the best boots I own! They are so comfortable I can wear it all day and being super cute I want to wear it all day. The Sorel foot bed on their wedge heels are like walking on air. I have several other wedge boots from Sorel because it's hard to find winter boots that are also cute. Bonus! These are waterproof leather.

Just received these boots, and I love them! I've had my eye on them for about a month and finally decided to get the dark brown pair. I tried them on without socks first and they're kind of difficult to get on as my foot gets hung up in the curved ankle part part. My toes have plenty of room with thick winter socks also. This is a great boot, very happy with my purchase!

These are gorgeous boots, and they are extremely comfortable. I would absolutely love to keep them, but they have a flaw that will keep me from wearing them and I cannot let them just sit in my closet. No matter how tightly I pull the laces, they begin to slouch and bunch around my ankles. I have tried thicker socks and even rolling the bottom of my jeans to try and give them support, but nothing has worked. I am heart-broken, but I am returning them. I have thin ankles and muscular calves, so the problem may just be the shape of my legs rather than the boots. Hope someone else has better luck!

Beautiful and comfortable! Love these boots. Fit well and no break in necessary to be super comfy. Wore them as I trudge around NYC post blizzard for a week. Lots of compliments too!

I love these boots! Been checking them out for the longest and was afraid they'd not be as they looked online or where comfortable enough! They prove me wrong! I just love them.

These are amazing boots! The look is stylish and the comfort allows me to wear them all day. I wore them on a cold snowy day and my feet stayed warm and toasty. I do not know if they are waterproof since I did not jump in puddles but they are perfect if you will be out for a short while in the rain or snow. I will definitely buy them again if I need to. Three of my friends loved them and I also ordered a pair.

These boots are fantastic! They are super super comfortable with just the right height. I can wear them all day no problem. The laces allow more versatility. Not for super cold days - but I did go half a size up so I can wear my wool socks if needed.

These look great, have sturdy treads & are very comfortable. I ordered a size up from my usual to wear heavy socks with and they are quite roomy. The ankle is a bit large even tightened as small as it can be but the calf is nice & narrow. Wore them at a trade show for a whole weekend on my feet fresh out of the box & no complaints.

These boots are amazing. I can wear them all day - they give great support. They are warm & cozy, chic, comfy, weatherproof, all around awesome boots! I wear an 8.5, ordered the 8.5 and they are perfect for me (have narrow heels so a slight slip but nothing uncomfortable).

I coveted these boots last year, but they were sold out, but I got them this year. They are gorgeous, but more importantly, extremely comfortable. I wore them out dancing for six hours, and no foot aching the next day. They run large so order your true size. I got half size bigger to allow for thick socks, but they were too big. Exchanged for my regular size. We just had our first major snow storm, so I'll update this once I test them out in those conditions.

These boots are eye catching. I have received many compliments on them. I usually cannot wear tall boots unless they are wide calf, but these are perfect. If you are between an 8 and an 8½, order the 8 as they run big. I sprayed them with a leather protectant for snow. I am very happy with my purchase.

I never write a review but I had to do one for these boots! I bought them in the saddle brown color first and absolutely loved them from the moment I put them on. Comfortable enough to walk 18-20,00 steps (as per my Fitbit) and warm enough for the coldest of New York winter days. I loved them so much I bought them in the black/gray. If all that was not enough to love them then all the compliments I get wherever I go when I wear them is the icing on the cake! Basically have worn either pair the entire winter so far. Best everyday boot purchase I have made yet.

These boots are awesome. Extremely comfortable and very cute. This is my second pair of Sorels and I get so many compliments.

Love these boots - when previous reviewers said it was comfortable enough to wear all day I thought that could hardly be true with the height of the heel, but it is true! The only 2 downsides to the boot (hence the 4 star rating instead of 5 for overall) is I agree the buckling at the ankle can be uncomfortable (tightening the lacing did not resolve this) but I love the fact that these have no zipper unlike 99% other boot styles out there. The second downside is the quality of the leather - the tongue feels flimsy and I worry that the materials will break down quickly. I have had the slim pack riding boot for 2 years and these are starting to fall apart (keeping in mind that I only wear then for 1/2 the year). For the price, I would expect those boots to last a lot longer.

These boots are very stylish, well constructed and most importantly--comfortable. I bought the gray ones last month. I'm a 9.5 and bought a 9.5. There is plenty of room in the toe area...I have a high arch...this boot does not give me any problems with this. I'm a plus size girl and was worried able to calf area...no problems there either...they provide the right fit...even when I wear a pair of leggings/jeans and knee high socks (no matter the thickness). The first time I wore them it was for 8 hrs straight and they felt as if I had been wearing them for years. These boots need no break in time and come out the box ready to wear. These boots keep my feet warm and are rugged on the bottom to help walk in the snow and ice. I've received numerous compliments on these boots. They are pricey; however, you get what you pay for. These boots will be around for a long time so they are worth the investment. I love them so much I just purchased the black ones. I'll wait on the brown ones!

It's a beautiful boot and I get a lot of compliments. If it's true to size and can accommodate a thin sock, if you wear thick socks you need to size up. The only thing I don't like is that it isn't very flexible in the ankle and if I make it loose in the ankle then there is an unsightly bulge on the sides. I'm still trying to find the sweet spot where it isn't digging into my ankle and isn't bulging. I like the pair I have, but I'm not motivated to buy other colors like I've done with the Joan of Arctic boot.

I returned these boots with the main reason being the lack of zipper. No zipper is a big deal because these shoes have to be loosened up quite a bit to get them off. My foot is an 8.5 and I found these true to size. The calf was bigger than I thought. My legs are thin so I had to tighten the laces up a lot in the leg, which looked funny because they were looser over the foot. It was not a flattering look on me. The boots were very comfortable. I'm not sure about warmth. The tread looked great. I was surprised that the leg part of the boot is just suede... no insulation. The sole of the shoe may block the cold from coming up into the shoe from the pavement, but these boots will not keep your legs warm.
