Beautiful and excellent quality, but a few FYIs: first, this backpack is a little small in depth. It holds my laptop and a notebook, but I'm definitely challenged to stuff my makeup bag, headphones and apple in it. I travel a lot, and am adept at packing economy, but you can't get everything you want in here. No lunch or drinks. Second: this backpack only has one zipper gear for both the main compartment opening and the front one. Not seemingly a big deal, but when traveling, I found myself reaching for gears on either end for the quick zip-close. From a functional design perspective this is a solid miss (you'll see)! Third, there is no beverage holder. Not a huge deal, but when you're boarding a plane you're carrying your phone and/or boarding pass, your backpack, your carry-on and your water too. the main compartment is too small to add a bottle. For day-to-day use, this may suffice, but it's still not as roomy as I'd like. (Also, My 10 year old daughter wanted one and there is no way she could fit the school gear in it!) Now onto the pros: Orla designs are slick. I got the black backpack and I get compliments every single day. Additionally, the quality is first rate. Orla prints are on this sail-like fabric. They don't wear. They are sturdy and waterproof. It's worth noting that the straps are very good quality too, and thick enough to not kill my back. This was my main concern and so far - no concerns at all. It's not perfect - especially for the price (you're paying for brand here) but I love the backpack.

I'm new to Orla Kiely,but I've become a huge fan! I love this backpack/tote! I love its streamlined silhouette. It's holds much more than you would think. I use this as my EDC bag. I carry the usual purse things, in addition I can stick a bottled water, a sand which, a small umbrella, and a jacket in there with room to spare! Love the sturdy comfortable straps. Love the durable, waterproof, stylish fabric. You can just wipe it clean! Love the vibrant orange lining. It's so happy and pleasing to the eye. Love the size of the outside pocket. I can fit my iPhone 6 Plus, gum, and Altoids in there! I also truely appreciate the feet on the bottom and that it stands up on its own. The only thing I'd change about this bag is to put a two way zip on the main compartment. I've been searching for my perfect bag for years. I think I've finally found it!

I absolutely love this backpack! I got it yesterday and I really love it. Before I was carrying a purse and a backpack. That was too much! I wanted/needed something to carry by business stuff and my personals in. I also wanted style. This backpack is it, everything fits perfectly. My contents consist of an accordion binder, two one subject notebooks, a bank deposit bag, credit card holder, lip balm, readers, cell phone, pens, breath mints/gum, Aleve (10 tablets), business cards and keys (I love the key strap). I even had room for my umbrella and a canned water (unopened). I have already been getting compliments on it...this bag will go with me everywhere!

I have been using this backpack for a week and really like it. Unlike a leather pack, this is very very light. Sturdy, wide straps are comfortable on one shoulder or two. Outside coated fabric is sturdy but not too stiff. Inside fabric is substantial and a happy shade of orange.Inside pockets and front pocket are large enough and handy. I am using this as my purse and packing in snacks and diapers etc for grandchildren and it is working well. I highly recommend this as a casual backpack.

As cute as it looks! It's small for my standards, but I still love it and had to pare down my belongings. Could use a double zipper for easier access, but still CUTE! Roomy outside pocket. Comfy to strap on. This goes with everything. Did I say it's CUTE??!!
