The problem with expensive bags is they are so addictive. (yes this was expensive for me) Oh my, I searched and searched for the perfect cross body for some up coming travel I have to do. 1. Most cross bodies are too small, and one big giant pocket with just a couple tiny slip pockets. 2. Bigger cross bodies tend to lay awkwardly against my not so small, rounder shape. 3. Messenger bags, while larger, are lacking in sophistication. Very student looking. 4. Baggallini used to have a nice larger, quality cross body, can't find it any more (and everyone is not on the gold hardware bandwagon. 5. Vera Bradley has some nice, larger sizes. Cannot. Do. Vera. Bradley. Cannot. While looking around, I removed the price restriction filter and found this bag. It was the most I've ever spent on a bag, let alone a mere cross body, but he reviews were consistent and encouraging. When it arrived!! Oh my goodness! I don't think I will ever be able to go back to a lower priced bag. But that's ok because this one seems as though it will last a very long time through some very long miles. It is the perfect size, not too big, not at all small. It's super lightweight, nothing worse than a bag that is too heavy before you fill it. Not here! Nice and light. Quality fabric doesn't even describe it. Hardware is smooth and durable. The whole thing just looks and feels rich. I'm a very tactile person. This bag has a luxurious feel to it. So tired of nylon bags that have a middle age, frumpy mom look and feel to them. Not this one, elegant and stylish. I warily bought the print (I shy away from prints but the lower price was compelling.) and I have been pleasantly surprised. It really is elegant and sophisticated. Roomy! Organized! I have it packed for a a carry-on personal bag/purse. Keep in mind I am a a minimalist wanna-be but this is cool. Large wallet, 2 pairs glasses in cases, journal, pen, small baby wipes, small kleenex, cell phone, charger, tiny medical/cosmetic kit. Still zips perfectly smooth and lays against my body beautifully, like it's not even there. Absolutely no regrets. Beautiful and strong. Well, well worth the price. I will definitely be adding Tumi to my goal list.

I was a little concerned that this bag would not be cute or not look luxe enough, but this bag is absolutely perfect. It is lightweight, and a really nice size, and the pockets make life so much easier. The black is a nice nylon fabric, not shiny-- more matte to be honest, but not matte enough to look like plastic. The leather zipper pulls and gold hardware are a nice luxe touch. The bag is big enough for a camera, an iphone, and ipad, wallet, lipstick, keys, spare iphone charger/battery pack, and you could also probably fit in a book if you really wanted to. That said, unless you really stuff it in, it doesn't look bulky.

This is the perfect travel bag! Used it on a 9 day trip to China. It's comfortable, looks good, perfectly sized, lays well, and with all the pockets I always knew exactly where everything was. The strap will fit you regardless of height, I'm 6'1" and it was plenty long, also let a friend use the bag for a trip to Paris, she's 5'1" and could make it perfect for her too. Highly recommend!

I love this bag! I actually ordered it and sent it back because I thought it was too expensive. After ordering several other bags looking for one as nice as the Tumi, I gave up and ordered it for the second time! It is lightweight, pretty classy looking considering it's nylon, well-made, organized, and comfortable to wear either over the shoulder or crossbody. I am even considering one in a different color, but truthfully, I got the black and it's appropriate for year-round use. I think this will make an excellent companion for travel as well as daily use. Spend the extra money and get this bag!

I cannot say enough amazing things about this bag. I've been coveting it since I saw it thru pinterest months ago. I tried finding similar bags on cheaper scale, but they were just not as nice. So I broke down and bought it. Perfect bag for traveling and day trips with my little boy! Well worth every penny!

Great traveling bag. I purchased to take on a 5 day site seeing bus trip. Has ample separate zippered pockets to hold all essentials like keys, wallet, glasses in the case. Very well made bag & zippers, worth the price! Can't go wrong with "Tumi". I will enjoy using this bag for many traveling days in the future.

Very happy with this bag. Light weight, holds a lot, not too many pockets that you can't find things. Easy to wear to keep hands free. Rich looking too!

I originally this because I was looking for a travel purse and because of the good reviews. Once I received it and started putting my regular purse things in it, I realized that it would make a terrific daily purse too. It's extremely well made, stylish in black nylon with bright gold zippers and gold Tumi logo. The shiny nylon and the gold can be worn with casual clothes, jeans etc.. and is dressy enough for work or evening with a nice outfit. It's light weight (until you stuff it) and expands without bulging or looking out of shape. I'm 'height challenged' and I love the truly adjustable shoulder strap. it slides up and down and doesn't have a buckle with holes on the strap. Not cheap, but well worth it if you can fit it into your budget. You get what you pay for.

More than I wanted to spend, but I finally found the perfect crossbody (after many attempts and returns). It is lightweight with lots of room, classy looking, and can be worn casually or for an evening out. This is a quality product. You really do get what you pay for. I bought it in black. I like it as much as my Kate Spade. This bag has more room.

I've held off reviewing this purse because I haven't traveled with it yet and that's the main reason that I bought it. But, I think that I shouldn't wait any longer to review as I won't be traveling for a few more months. As with all of the Tumi products that I have, this is well made, with excellent features, pockets and compartments and very attractive. For some wonderful reason, even when I stuff it, it seems to lay flat on my body and is not at all bulky. I put a book, cosmetics, passport, tickets, medications, etc... the usual things that you put into a smaller carryon and I am very satisfied with it. In fact it lays flat enough that I think I will be able to board the plane with my two pieces of carryon, my wheelie and a large tote bag, and be able to wear this purse under my jacket. Cheating a bit??? No guilt, it is small enough and I will keep it with me the entire flight and the other pieces will go in the overhead bin.

I bought this as a travel purse, and it works great for that due to the number of pockets and the fact that it's so lightweight. I looked everywhere for a nylon purse that looks good, and this is it! The mink color goes with everything and will work year-round. I love the silky strap; it hasn't caused any pilling on tops/sweaters. The purse holds more than it looks like it would without looking too bloated. Looking forward to using it on more trips!

I bought this in the navy and then bought a second one in black. These are my new go-to handbags for European travel because I always wear a crossbody when I travel. I had been looking for a new travel bag that was lightweight (nylon) and well-organized. The Tumi Voyageur Capri fits the bill. It's also the size I wanted, not too big or too small (will hold my essentials plus my tablet, earphones, etc., on the airplane), and the strap is adjustable to fit my height (5'4"). Finally, I have tried other nylon bags and returned them because they were too plain. This bag's design, leather trim, and gold hardware are stylish. Tip: I scotchgarded both bags to prevent any (dirt, etc.) stains - gave them a good soaking and they dried quickly with no problems. I did cover the leather before I sprayed.

The perfect bag for travel. Loved the color (blue) and the style. There are lots of pockets and separate areas for storage, plus the beg is not so large that I am tempted to overload it wth stuff that should go into carryon luggage. This bag looks expensive, but since I have purchased several nice leather bags, this really did not seem expensive at all. This bag is worth every penny.

This is a very useful traveling bag. I wanted to be hands free while I am at my travel destinations. I ordered the Ocean and it is a great color and so much more interesting than black. This is a very well constructed bag with several compartments and I look forward to using them all!

Like many other reviewers, I purchased this for travel. The strap was definitely comfortable and it held quite a bit of stuff while keeping everything organized. Also, it just looks nice with the gold details! Definitely a great purchase!

LOVE. This is the perfect size and style for me for an "everyday" bag, or even for travel. I am usually out and about with my kids, so I carry a snack bar or two and some Band-Aids, etc. in addition to the normal "handbag stuff". I can fit my Kindle, phone, a large wallet, extra glasses, and a few other items and it doesn't ever feel bulky. It's lightweight and stylish. I have been looking for a bag for a long time that would accommodate my things but not feel huge. I was hesitant at first because it was more than I wanted to spend on a bag, but it was worth it. I am certain I will get years of use out of it.

I have been looking for a reliable crossbody for travel! Tumi never fails. Plenty of space and a sturdy strap so it won’t hurt your shoulder. Also great little pockets inside.

I finally found the perfect travel crossbody bag. The Tumi bag is super light and I love the gold accents. The strap is fully adjustable from short to long, hard to find with most crossbody bags. Can't wait for our next trip!

I love this purse! This is a light weight cross body bag with loads of style. It has plenty of pockets and compartments to hold everything I need without the excess weight and bulk. I have received several compliments in the 2 weeks I have been using it. I recommend it!
