This jacket is a must for EVERYONE! The fit is so comfortable and quality is high. Perfect mid-layer jacket that is very versatile. From cool summer nights to the dark cold winter as a mid-layer under your winter jacket. The price is reasonable - really its a jacket you can use all year. This jacket is also must for people who travel - easy to pack in your carry on etc.

The first Arcteryx midlayer I've owned and it's great for everyday use in the Scottish winter under a Beta LT for walking, practicing archery and commuting.
A shell is definitely needed as the Delta LT gives no wind protection but this is due to it being an extremely light, comfortable and breathable piece.
6'2" 230#, a large fits perfectly, any bigger I'd go for an XL though.

The Delta LT is a great mid-layer jacket!
I have been using it underneath a Beta AR as the go-to fleece for temps down to about 10F. Anything colder than that and it is not really enough. It has also worked well as an outer layer on warmish fall days. The fit is true, although a bit on the large side(as most Arc'teryx gear is). I'm 5'8 and 165lbs, the size S would probably be OK, but the M seems to fit my "not-so-athlecially-shaped" frame well.

I have heard of Arc'teryx but could never afford the clothing, however this jacket has proved me wrong. I was a bit worried as i was used to the well known brands. As soon as i put the jacket on it felt comfortable and was very roomy. It also goes well under my eVent jacket. Very warm and looks good on its own. Very Impressed.
When Walking, its light and breathable where some fleeces have let me down previously.
All in All this Jacket is very well made and i will be certainly be buying more from here.

I've been blown away by how versatile this jacket has been. If I keep moving I can wear this by itself over a 150g merino wool t-shirt and be comfortable down in the low 50's--though if it is overly windy I'd consider layering over as the jacket will let strong wind through. If I put a soft shell over that I've been comfortable down below freezing. It breathes well enough that it's also great for the slightly cool days where you want a bit extra without worrying about being too hot. It served me well the tail end of this past winter lounging around the house when the heat wasn't on. The fabric feels great next to skin when wearing a short sleeve shirt. I've been using a fleece jacket from another popular outdoor company and the Delta LT probably get's me 80-90% of the warmth from a package that is 1/4-1/3 the weight and bulk. Not to mention the added benefit of being able to easily layer this, which wasn't as practical with my last fleece. I haven't had any issue with the fabric, but I have noticed this seems to fit a bit smaller than other Arc'teryx pieces I own. I have medium in my other Arc jackets, but for this I ended up with a large with a tiny bit extra room. If there were half sizes I would consider this one of them--the L fits what I imagine a M.5 would.

I love this jacket. It is light as a feather and yet has surprising warmth. I'm 5ft 9", 205 lbs and large fits great. I can almost fit into medium but it is a little snug around the middle and chest. I can see how this will soon become my favorite garment. Cuffs are just snug enough to keep from sliding over your wrists. I have a similar micro fleece jacket from Mountain Hardware and the cuffs are to generous and they slide over your wrists and annoy you. Way to go Arc'teryx.

This is a thin and lightweight fleece good for summer cooler days under a thin shell or as a standalone piece. Unfortunately, there is no hook to hang it on the inside back.

Title says it all. This jacket is light enough to be worn on mildly warm days (mid-60s) and warm enough to wear when it's cooler out as a mid-layer under a soft or hardshell. Excellent fit, albeit a tad roomier than the advertised "trim fit" but that's just fine. I haven't carried yet with this jacket, but I doubt there would be much issue with printing and the slight drop-back hem would likely keep anyone from noticing your EDC kit.
This is probably my favorite Arc midlayer that I've purchased.

This jacket has been my "go to" lightweight cover for the last 4 years. Perfect for temperate place like San Diego, CA. I wear it outside on cool mornings/ evenings at beach, and indoors at work. Great for cold corporate offices or hospitals. It's tailored enough to wear at a nice restaurant - black is good color for this -, and rugged enough to wear under a GorTex Shell for skiing or backpacking. Super durable, washable, and comfortable. Can not be beat, especially at its price.

Polartec Classic Micro - the wording doesn't sound like there would be anything innovative in the material. It rather gives them impression that this jacket is made out of some old fleece being around for ages. Well, I don't know long Polartec Classic Micro is on the market. But in my opinion it is defenitly one of the top of its class.
It's incredibly warm for its weight outclassing some polartec powerstretch pullovers I have bought in the past from other companies. And it has also incredibly wicking capacities. I'm wearing the Delta LT currently over a phase baselayer and under the acto mx or the gamma mx while cross country skiing at temperatures between -5 and -12 C and I feel fine. No overheating, no soaking in sweat. These three pieces just make a great combo.
In the summer time, I take this along on mountaineering trips to proctext myself against the chill during breaks or on ridges. The Delta LT does not only provide warmth, it also helps wicking the sweat out of the baselayer, keeping you warm and dry during rests. On top of that: it weighs almost next to nothing and folds down incredibly small. So there's always a place for it - even in a Aerios 14 together will an Alpha FL, some water and some energy bars for fast and light trips.
The Delta LT also does a good job as a light belay jacket in the climbing hall, when the ventilation is blowing full steam in the winter time, blowing in cold air while your partner needs some extra time to check out his next moves.

The Polartec fleece is super soft both on the inside and outside. I have an old Polartec fleece sweater from Patagonia that's twice as thick which was my standard sweater, but when I tried on the Delta LT, immediately I could feel it was much warmer, which was a nice unexpected surprise. It's more like a jacket/sweater in that it's very thin and extremely light, and true to its thin fit with the sleeve length is just a bit shorter than other outer layer Arcteryx jackets, but that's just perfect. Hopefully it will be durable without any pilling and stand up to tons of washing as I expect to wear this all the time for almost every activity. Got both the red and silverstone jackets, the silverstone color is a little darker than expected, kind of more off-white to blueish tone. The red shows off nicely, not too dark, not too bright.

Bought the Delta LT as a standalone piece and its a bit thinner and tighter than anticipated. I did not return it as it will serve its new purpose as my mid layer under my Beta AR. When needed for Maine winters part of my laying system. However I'm more of an athletic build and ALL other Arc pieces in an XL fit me with perfection, this was the fist piece purchased that ran tight on me. Again not a problem as part of my layering system however I will not wear this on its own. Its superior quality and I love the zippers easy to utilize even with gloves due to the pulls. Overall happy with the purchase just a bit thinner and tighter than anticipated.

I love fleece. I own 11 Arc'teryx fleeces, including 5 Delta LTs from 3 different iterations, all size L. Hopefully comparing them will be useful to those who are on the fence about the current version.
In short, I like the Deltas because they offer a good mix of performance, comfort, and style. They're the lightest fleeces I own so I can wear them casually without overheating indoors, and they look nice too, especially with the sewn in logo on the shoulder (this version) or near the waist (2006 version). I hate being a walking billboard and will avoid pieces with large blatant logos on the chest.
It breathes well and dries quickly so I can work hard in it, but it also offers a small touch of that comforting fleecy feeling the heavier fleeces have, so it's a pleasure to put on and keep on all day.
I like my 2006 version because it's a different material and it's cozier, but the zipper is only 7.5" long and the current model vents much better with a 12" zipper, or in this case, full zip, so I use the old one for low output or just chilling.
My 2011 and 2018 models both use the same polartec classic 152 GSM fabric, but I swear they're a touch thicker than my current models. The newest ones feel less substantial and weigh less on my digital scale. They are also slightly less warm.
My biggest beef with the current model is the lined collar. It's just not as comfortable or warm, though my wife likes the look better. A cozy, comfortable collar makes or breaks it for me. In fact it's why I wear non hooded versions. The older models feel wonderful, and the fabric at the collar is doubled over so it's twice as thick. They're wonderful. The new lined collar is just ok, and I won't buy another Delta LT until they change it back.
I like the fits on all my Deltas, but this current one is shorter at the waist. The front stops just at the bottom of my belt, which is fine, but it does flare out, which shouldn't happen with a fleece of this caliber. BTW I actually prefer the regular fit on this full zip than the trim fit on my 1/4 zip.
In conclusion, the Delta LTs from roughly 2009-2018 were essentially perfect, apart from the chest logo. The new model is still good but slightly less warm with a shorter cut and a severely disappointing collar.

This delta was great. It is super lightweight but was still able to retain heat very well. Will use this for camping, hiking, biking and a mid layer for skiing. Left out one star because of sizing. Arcteryx sizing have gone up. None of the xs items fit me properly any more and I unfortunately can't size down from there. This has happened for quite a few of my 2020/2021 gear.

I bought this a month ago and have already put it to good use on its own and as a liner for my Solano Hoody. It's lightweight and breathable, but provides enough warmth for cool spring days. I got the rhapsody color and am really happy with it.

For reference: 5'11 and 175lbs. I have a large and it the sizing fits great. Sleeves are perfect length. Great for mild temperatures or as a base/mid layer on cold days. This jacket's best quality is its breathability and comfort. Only gave it a 4 star cause I thought the fit could be better at the waist.

I love Arcteryx gear...been buying it for years...the atom ar hoody is my favorite jacket of all time. The delta lt zippered jacket is almost perfect. It's lightweight, warm, and color selection is good. The only issue I have is the fit at the bottom hem flares out so it's not as form fitting as other arcteryx jackets and base layers. Great for skiing...used it as a mid layer with the zeta ar. Thumbs up.

It's a great lightweight fleece. A little static-y for layering, but a good weight and warm for it. The cut is a little weird - tighter in the shoulders and baggier in the midsection.

I like the "waffle" texture. I bought this in size large in 2 colors. I'm 5'3", about 135 lbs, but wide in shoulders and hips. The large is quite roomy, good for wearing over a sweater for added warmth. Seems well made, but is thinner than I expected. Does not seem worth the price.

I bought this as a mid-layer for skiing, fits well under the jacket and is very light weight and moves well with the body, non restricting. Now just waiting for the snow to come to see If it is as warm as they say for its weight, if so it will be a great purchase. I am a petit and the small of this jacket fits well

This is the perfect jacket to layer under my Durant jacket or my Squamish SL hoody. I have a previous years version so it is almost bodycon, and in hindsight I would have waited for the redesign, just for more forgiveness! But nonetheless, it is light, warm and still very functional. Now, just gotta figure out what to do with the arm pocket... I don't think it adds much. Maybe a hidden interior pocket would be better ;)

Recently bought this and found it very to be very breathable, providing additional warmth over a base-layer (though not a lot of warmth). I have a slim build and it fits very well without being restrictive.
It packs down to about half the size of my previous Sherpa sweater, and although it's not quite as warm, I think i'll get more use out of this.
