As always, Arche is on the pricey side - but well worth it. These fit like slippers straight away, but look stylish and not run-of-the-mill. Would love a version with a slightly higher heel, too.

I loved this shoe but it did not feel like other size 39 Arches I have gotten in the past. It was too tight, sad to say. I loved the color which was to be black but in fact is a beautiful midnight blue. Sorry to return them and sorry Zappos did not have size 40 which I found elsewhere and they feel as all my Arches feel - delightful on my feet. And, the black turned out to be a true black and would have liked the midnight blue. oh well. Thanks Zappos for making shoe shopping a good experience.

This shoe by Arche is quite comfortable with soft nubuck upper and cushy rubber sole. The cut looks strange from above--until you put it on and realize how flattering it is! I have a long, narrow foot, and these shoes fit very well and are nice-looking on. They are expensive but, if they hold up well, worth the price.

I ordered these shoes because I loved the dark navy and the reviewer raved about the comfort of the shoe. I only have one other pair of Arche that I now wear, having tried several different styles over the years. I am usually between an 8.5 and a 9 or 39 or 40 in European size. I followed the advice of the reviewer and ordered the 40 although my other Arche is a 39 (it is an open toe style). These new Arche were comfortable right out of the box. I wore them for an entire day and had no issues at all. There is no arch support but the shoes are completely flexible and feel part of your feet. They feel like slippers but are much nicer looking, of course. I can't wear shoes with a stiff sole so I have been hoping that I could find a pair of Arche that would work well. These fill the bill and I highly recommend them. Yes, they are expensive so I understand someone's hesitation to buy them. But they are worth it for the comfort and they are very attractive too.

Love this shoe! I have three pairs. Dressier than most Arche and yet good with casual clothes too. Runs a little small. Color may be a little off. The red is not quite as red as the illustration. My Zappos black shoes are really navy blue but the same style from Nordstrom is a true black.

Very comfortable shoes. Elastic at heel helps fit; got my normal size 40. But they are noisy! Squeaky and creaky with each flex of the foot. Not sure if high price + squeaking will beat comfort + stylishness.

I love my Arche sandals, but haven't yet found a closed-toe shoe that works. I loved these so much, but was confused by the Nuit I and Nuit (navy), so I ordered BOTH. I thought from the photos that there might be a difference in the toe box. Well, no. They were identical in color and shape. I'm disappointed. A size 7M usually works for me, but the 38/7 was too short. My toes didn't have enough room. Sad. Back they both go.

I have high arches. The inner part of the shoe rubbed uncomfortably against the arch side of my foot. Too bad. Cute shoe otherwise.
