While these pants have a pretty hefty price tag, I'd say it's worth it and recommend them to someone who needs a VERY durable and versatile pair of pants. The amount of pockets is great when hiking or touring on a motorcycle, which is what I primarily use them for. The cut is fairly slim, compared to similar model pants in other brands and I like that. While I'm usually not a big fan of cargo pants, these maintain the slim lines through the side pocket areas. The only downside I'd say there is to these pants is that you need to purchase a separate waterproofing spray or wax if you need them to keep you dry. I've only tried the wax sold by the manufacturer of these pants and it works well but is a task to apply properly.

Fit great, true to size. Love the adjustable opening at the bottom of the pant legs. Fabric seems to be tough as nails.

Fit is OK except that you sent a 52 Long as opposed to what I ordered....a 52 Regular. I think I can make them work. CDH

Best hiking pants. Not for very warm/hot weather. Fjallraven offers other pants for hot weather. Get many compliments on these- I have 6 pairs in different colors. Solid colors are best for casual/work use. Dual colors for hiking. The fabric is comfortable and dries EXTREMELY fast. You’ll love these pants.

Upon taking them out of the packaging and holding them up, I was leery about the size. Then I put them on and they were perfect. I'm 5-11 and 192 lbs. I ordered the size 36 and perfect. One size down and they would have been too tight, one size up and I would have been swimming in them. I will be sure upon washing, to air dry to prevent any potential shrinkage in the material. They are a little more form fitting so to speak than my regular jeans I wear, but feel that will come in handy in the brush. The material is amazing, does not feel like they will get caught up on small brush or briars that I come across on my hikes. Love the adjustable ankle straps, and hook to attach to your boot to hold them down. Plenty of pockets and the floating cell phone pocket is big enough to handle 90% of the Note 9, so that's a plus as well. Love the color and will be ordering a black on black version as well in the very near future!

Fjallraven Vidda Pros are my favorite trekking trousers for the north woods, so I ordered these for my husband to try. I usually buy them straight from Fjallraven, but Zappos had better colors available. Unfortunately the sizing was off. Size 50 is actually for a 35" waist, not 33-34", so these were too big. Fhallraven has tricky sizing. I would advise reading the "size guide" on the Fjallraven brand information website - it has a lot of information! (Zappos now seems to have a Fjallraven size chart too).
I'd also recommend:

I am very please with my purchase of these pants, even though they are expensive. I bought them primarily for backpacking, as they seem to be extremely durable and versitile, but I have also started to wear them as an extra layer for cold commutes on my motorcycle. The sizing was a little strange for me. I'm 6' tall, 190lbs and usually wear a U.S. men's 34" waste so I started with the 50 in these (34" inseam); they fit but didn't offer any breathing room in the waste; the length was about perfect. I exchanged them for a 52 (same 34" length) and while the waste wasn't much larger (certainly not 2"), the length was almost too much. However, given what I planned to use the pants for, I figured the little extra length would be fine and they are. I haven't tried waterproofing them with the Greenland Wax offered by the same manufacturer of the pants but I have some in order and have heard good things, even though, like the pants, the wax is expensive. I wish the company would include a small sample size of the wax with their pants and other products but I guess they sell enough for it to not be necessary.

Hands down the best fitting and best looking pants I have ever bought. I wore these at my farm to work around. I was very tired of blue jeans or wearing hunting clothes just to wear when at my farm. See other people's reviews of the pants. I took the plunge and spent the money and yes I will be buying another pair soon. Lots of compliments from others from the look of the pants. Worth every penny. Pants fit true to size.

Great fit! The fabric is actually pretty breathable. I like all the functional pockets, which seem to be well placed. I'll be purchasing another pair soon!

Best pants I've ever owned. I'd prefer to not have the little fox on there--and you can't remove it without damaging the pants (I tried).

I purchased these for my boyfriend and he absolutely loves them! The fit, the cut, the color are true to what is displayed and measured. The waist is a little looser but with more outdoor pants having them loose is a great thing. And there's plenty of pockets and storage.

Fit and features are great on these, however their buttons have a fatal flaw. They have a sharp inner edge and if worn without a belt the button starts to cut through the fabric. It wasn't a one off, I have 3 pairs and all failed in exactly the same manner. Customer service suggested I didn't know how to size my pants.

OMG The sizing on this brand is so screwed up. Ordered two sizes larger than what I originally ordered (which was way small) and these were even smaller than the smaller size. I give up.
