I bought these 5 years ago and they were beautiful; top quality. The pair I just received from Zappos had far inferior leather - really cheaply made, but same price of course

I loved the way these shoes looked. They felt good for the first hour, so I wore them to a function. I ended up with a blister on one toe and a sore place on my ankle bone. The strap closest to the leg hits my ankle at an uncomfortable place. I am so disappointed that I spent so much money on a pair of shoes that don't feel that great. I'm just hoping I'll get used to them.

These shoes are classy and comfortable. I broke my ankle 2/9/16 and had a formal charity event scheduled 4/15. I had been walking part time in tennis shoes for about 1 week before the event. I wanted a shoe that would go with formal wear or jeans and that I would feel safe & comfortable in for the evening. This shoe fit the bill! I wear size 8.5 Med width & it fits well. All straps are velcro closing which allows for adjustment. I like that there is a little slack in the straps because that should be great in the hot weather when feet tend to swell. It may not fit everyone, but it's worth a try.

These fit my high arches like a glove. I am a 10.5 and usually need a 41 or 42. The 41 was too small. The 42 fit well, but the front strap is ridiculously long and had way too much excess material hanging over, which makes the shoe look cheap. I really wish they would fix this feature because then they would be perfect.

I LOVE these sandals! Worth every penny! The antique silver leather I ordered looks great . . . Adds just a touch of elegance to shorts & jeans as well as dresses. I can wear these with everything ! Very comfortable, too. Will probably order other colors, too.

My best sandals for comfort and looks. The straps are perfectly positioned to keep the foot in place and stay comfortable.

I really like the foot bed, design and the multiple points of adjustment, however my feet are on the narrow side and when I adjust the straps to fit, they hang off in a funky way.

Fairly comfortable and well made. Am concerned about extra length of velcro toe strap that is likely to curl up.

I really appreciate the clean materials used in this brand's shoes but these particular ones were not good looking neither comfortable, the starp (closest to the leg from top) was not comfortable while taking each step and they look bulky.

Josef Seidel Tonga good-looking seems well made, but the fit of the strap closest to the leg is so high that it sits in the middle of the area of leg and top of foot so feels restrictive to even take a step.

This is my second pair of this exact style. I love them! I have a brown pair which I have been wearing for 3+ years. They are still in rotation, but I wanted this new color for fun. I have the highest arches in the world and these sandals give me all the support I need. I use them specifically for vacationing, when I am doing LOTS of walking on uneven surfaces and for light hiking. They look great with shorts and dresses - super versatile.

I ordered these in white and loved them so much that I immediately ordered a second pair in navy (called Jeans). Since all straps can be adjusted, they fit my narrow foot really well. Really tempted to order one more pair in another color!!!

If you have an easy fitting foot, no issues with high arches or other foot concerns, and comfort and style is important, these Tongas are an excellent choice. I am a middle school teacher who stands up the entire day, so these provide great support and physical ease. I've had more compliments on them as to how stylish they look. I have a black pair and I'm going to get the silver pair.

I'm going to go with them in preparation for a sightseeing trip but the strap closest to the ankle is quite high. I'm having to attach the strap off center from where it should attach to the lower flap so it wouldn't cut into leg.

This is a very attractive sandal with good arch support, a comfortable foot bed and high quality leather, but I must return them. The ankle strap is too far back and hits my leg. If it was a bit closer to the front of the foot it would support the arch and be much more comfortable. It is a shame because everything else about this sandal is excellent.

These shoes are so comfy! I teach at a university and am on my feet quite a bit, and these offer the perfect amount of support.

I love this brand and particularly this sandal. I have had several colors but this latest is the nicest. Many compliments. I can even wear for long walks as it is supportive and comfy.

Size 7.5, high arches, narrow-ish feet. Very comfortable already. Unlike some other brands, was able to adjust the velcro straps with a smooth, secure fit (vs sticking out at the edge).

I love these sandals. I have gotten compliments every time I wear them from total strangers who lived the yellow! Not only are they cute and flattering, but the comfort is exceptional. The cork layer cushions my feet. I have worn them nearly all day with no ‘break in’. For a 70 something person with two knees with total knee replacement, this is nothing short of miraculous!

I love these! They may not work for every foot but the fit is perfect for mine. Very comfortable and stylish.

This is my first pair of Joseph Seibel shoes. They are wonderful, and I love them. Extremely comfy right out of the box. I got the yellow color and it is a gorgeous mustardy color that will go with lots of things. I am a true 7.5M and the 38 fits perfectly. I am thrilled. I am older with a bad feet and a bad back, and these shoes work for me. I will be trying more Joseph Seibel in the future.

They are comfortable but give support. This is my second pair of these sandals. The first pair lasted 5 years and still are serviceable but are starting to look ratty so I replaced them. They are great to walk in and look nice.
