I really like the look of the Barletta; it is very cute and light on the foot. But the toebox is not as deep as other Finn Comforts I have. Currently I am not able to wear them as there is not enough room to accommodate the arthritic, somewhat swollen big toe joint on my right foot. I will have to have a shoemaker stretch the toebox a little in that area. I don't mind doing this, but I would like to point out that I have not had to stretch any of the Finn Comfort shoes that I purchased three or more years ago. It is as if there is been a decision somewhere in the chain of command to make their shoes in general slightly smaller, or, and I really wonder about this, a decision to outsource some of the labor to the Far East, where items of clothing tend to be made smaller, in my experience anyway. Luckily, the length of the Barletta does not seem to be compromised, but it has been in other Finn styles. I used to be able to buy any pair and confidently rely on the sizing; recently I have had to return a few to my great disappointment. I know that my foot has not changed in size and my toe joint has not worsened, so it is definitely the shoes. I hope the sizing problems in terms of shallow toe boxes can be solved in the near future or I will be in trouble! I was thrilled to discover this brand at first because it is so difficult for me to find size 11 shoes that fit well. Now I will have to look around for another brand again - groan. I love this shoe extremely light and comfortable. I am disappointed that there are so few sizes left. I am a size 7 and the 38 was short. I need the 39 but Zappos does not have it in stock. This shoe is not too wide either. I hope Zappos is going to continue carrying Finn's.

Great looking shoe. Good fit, narrow heel. Just what I needed, but insole is not soft, too hard. So back they go.

I absolutely love these shoes and I receive compliments a lot when I wear them. As most of us know, it can be difficult to find stylish shoes in the Finn-Comfort selection, but these popped out right away when I was scanning through what is being offered. They are comfortable, practically perfect. A little more cushion would be nice. But next time I find myself with a lot of money to spare, maybe I will order another pair, perhaps in blue.

As all Finn Comforts are, this is a very well made shoe. Very comfortable and cool with the vents on the shoe and the inner sole. The toes are hard rather than soft and flexible. It kind of needs to be broken in with a few wearings. The light color is nice for the summer. Plenty of inner support. Really like the shoes.

I was so looking forward to having the newest edition from Finn Comfort work well on my finicky feet. Unfortunately, they seem to run a tad narrower and shorter than most of the older Finn Comfort closed toe shoes and there is a rise in the midsection of the insole that did not work with my feet. With regret I must return these and continue to hope that I will soon find some closed toe shoes that I can wear when it rains without getting soaked! Thanks to Zappos for their infinite patience and courtesy during the process. They are definitely amazing in terms of customer service!

This does not feature the soft footbed at all. I have a pair of Finn Comfort sandals that does have that soft footbed and there is a big difference. This shoe has the original footbed that is very firm. Not for me. There is nothing particularly comfortable about this shoe for me. The soles are too flat, inflexible, the toe box is weirdly stiff for the style and I did not feel particularly well supported. Sorry to say all this, but for the price, well. They are well made of course and the leather is very fine, but this was not the Finn Comfort for me.
