These boots seem to be very well made. I ordered them in the army color and they look exactly like the photo. The boot does not really have any support, but the interior is roomy enough that you can slip in your own custom insole. I wear orthotics, so I was happy that the 36 fit my orthotics comfortably over the existing insole (I am a 5½). The interior is lined in a beautifully soft white fabric. The laces are more for decoration than practical use - the opening of the boot is very wide, so you can get the boots on and off very easily without untying the shoe. However, I suspect the wide boot opening means the boots might be prone to getting wet on the inside. Additionally, these boots are quite heavy, so if you have to do a lot of walking, I suggest doing a lot of squats so your quads can handle the weight!

I bought these boots for rain and snow. They fit great, are warm and very comfortable. I also bought a pair of Ilse Jacobsen Rub 1 awhile back and I love both. Highly recommend them.

Comfortable and well made rain gear. I ordered my standard size but it feels to me to run a half size larger than needed (unless you add an insert).

These are great. I live in the Seattle area, this is my 2nd pair of Ilse Jacobsen rain boots. Comfortable even for long walks, lined so they're warm, and cute!

I bought these to be my winter boots for the snow and rain on my commute. Money well spent! They are extremely well made and look super cute. They stand out from all the other rubber boots out there. I love them!

These are great boots! They are easy on/easy off - completely waterproof. I usually would have purchased a larger size, but these fit just fine, even with thicker socks. Very comfortable, well made.

Cute boots! They are still basically a short rubber boot with the front detailing just for the looks ( you can't tighten the laces ). There's plenty of room to tuck in jeans. The lining and fabric insole will make them warmer on cold days... can likely add in an additional insole for colder weather. Red color is slightly darker with a hint of burgundy. Sole is very sturdy and has good treads for winter conditions. Size 38 was purchased for usual 7.5 US and was roomy. The fit is that of a rubber boot not a hiking boot or shoe. Will work fine with warmer, heavier socks.

The arch support is quite poor in these. If I got them again I would add an insert. The real issue with these is that within a season one of the upper grommets ripped off. These didn't get heavy usage, so I was very disappointed given the price point. They were very cute, easy to get on and off, especially great for my large calves that don't fit in a taller rain boot. I might be willing to try these again sometime, but probably only if I got them on sale.

Love the rain boot styling, I ordered a size 6 although I wear a size 5 1/2 because they don't offer any smaller sizes but they are way too big! Will be sending them back. I know Ilse Jacobsen company makes them in size 5 but why don't have them available? I found the same problem looking for these boots at other sources.

Finally, a rain boot that I love! I have two pair of Hunter boots that were a disappointment because I find them hard to walk in, they feel awkward. And it seems every other person is wearing Hunter when it rains so I wanted something different. I have an IIse Jacobsen rain coat that I have worn and loved for years and I remembered they made boot so.... finally got to wear them today and they are SO comfortable. Very well made and different from anything else I see. Really cute. I don't wear a lot of color so got them in black which I love.

These boots are very well made and stand out amongst all the standard looking rain boots. They are easy to slip on and off, and aren't too heavy. I just love them. While I do find them comfortable, they have no sort of cushion inside, so you may want to buy an insert.

These are super cute, and if you do not already have any foot problems, will work great for keeping feet dry. The only reason I’m not giving these a full 5 star review, however, is that for this price, I can do better. They’re a bit narrow, And since they are made of rubber, they’re not going to break in. Order a size up, and then get some cushion soled thermal socks to wear with the boots.
