I originally saw these on the Zappos home page with a tag line like 'summer's here' or 'comfortable sandals'. I usually like slightly higher end i/e leather Tevas but wanted something a little more polished looking for work, yet still comfortable. These resonated in my mind for a couple of days after seeing them, but by the time I went to Zappos to order them, they were sold out in both 7.5 and 8. I'd never had a pair of Steve Madden shoes before so wasn't sure what size I'd be. I normally wear an 8 in sandals. I figured that if they were sold out, they must be pretty good. I live in Brooklyn so it was easy for me to go to the Steve Madden boutique in SoHo (although I would have preferred just ordering them from Zappos). The 8 was perfect. I didn't have to size down. I concur with other reviewers assessment that they don't have much support but being that they have the wide ankle strap, you feel 'held in' if that makes any sense. I was worried about the strap across the base of the toes, as I have a bit of a bunion on my left side, but they've been conforming to the shape of my foot nicely. A little stiff during first wearing, but no issues at all. These are very cute and a good price. I say thumb's up!

I have bought this shoe before directly from Steve Madden, and I feel like the quality here is greatly different. I upload photos here to show that the stitching is horrible. Some of the stitches aren't even on the shoe, and it's causing the leather to rip. I am disappointed in Zappos quality control in order to let a shoe go out like this.

Simple, classic, comfortable sandal. Wore them for the first time all day and my feet didn't hurt at all. Buy them!

These are very simple and elegant, which is exactly what I was looking for - a basic black sandal. They're of average comfort. Not great for walking long distances, but very cute and perfect for casual summer days.

I like these sandals a lot. Have worn twice and they didn't rub the foot in any places; the straps are a soft leather on the inside. They're flat without much support but that was evident from the photo. Still I didn't find them uncomfortable. Simple style and great price!

Very nicely made. True to size. I wear a 6 1/2. I purchased the brown pair. Worth the price.

These are super cute sandals! I feel like they will go with everything. I originally ordered a 9 because that's what I typically wear in flats, but they were too big. I exchanged them for an 8.5 and they are perfect!

This is such a cute minimalist sandal and a summer classic in white! I wear a solid 8.5M and sometimes an 8M in sandals. After ordering both sizes, I find these are about a 1/2 size too small so I have ordered a 9M. Also, the ankle strap is a bit short. If you have an instep, like I do, the first hole is a little hard to get to but I'm going to try the 9M because I LOVE their style!

Love the style of these sandals.! I had them in black and really wanted them in brown so I could have more of a variety with my wardrobe. Pros are that they are super cute and comfy! Con (and there’s only one) is that the shade of brown is NOT what was displayed on my computer screen. They appear to be more of a light camel brown color on the website, but in reality they are a much darker and not so cute brown color. Regardless, I’m going to keep them and hope they work out with something in my wardrobe.

Wore the sandal to work and light walking maybe 15 times and the ankle strap has already separated from the heel strap. Very disappointed. They look new otherwise.

These shoes broke after wearing for only a couple of months!!! The back strap completely ripped from the bottom of the shoe. I can't believe what terrible quality these shoes are. Steve Madden isn't want it used to be...

I ordered these shoes in a size 9.5 and 10. I opened the box when I got it to find one Steve Madden box and one unmarked box. The 9.5 sandals were packaged nicely in the correct box, fit great, and are super comfortable and cute. The size 10 sandals, on the other hand, came out of the unmarked box, unbuckled and creased, looking like they had been worn before. There was no plastic inserts in them to keep them shaped. And, THEY WEREN'T EVEN THE RIGHT STYLE OF SANDAL. They looked similar but were incredibly uncomfortable and looked cheap. Both the 9.5 and 10 pairs had Donddi stickers and Steve Madden labels, so I'm confused. Did I somehow receive a knock-off pair of Steve Maddens that I paid full price for? Just inspect carefully when received to make sure the sandal matches the picture. I'm keeping the correct pair but returning the size 10.

Super comfortable and cute! I'm wearing them with sundresses everywhere now and will take them with me when I go to Greece in September!

Love these style of Steve Madden shoes. I also have in brown that I purchased last year. Fit perfectly and I typically have issues with getting shoes, sandals, etc. that fit.

Love these sandals. If you have wide feet order a whole size larger. They tend to run short on length btw. Cute and worth it.

I LOVE these shoes!! they’re so classy and go with everything. I saw some review complaining about zero arch support… they’re flat shoes people, you can’t expect it. I’ve been wearing them for a couple days now and they seem to be excellent quality. My feet don’t hurt in them at all! Well worth the money.

The shoe is comfortable and fits true to size. I wear a 7. However it was a very flat foot bed and I prefer a little bit of a heel with my sandals otherwise it was really comfortable.ThBe specific about your likes and dislikes. How was the fit and size? What does the material feel like? How awesome (or not) do you feel wearing them?

These are simple and comfortable. I had no blisters, which is rare for trying new sandals.

The fit was perfect. size 7 They were comfortable right out of the box. This is the third pair of Donddis I have purchased. Highly recommended.
