Absolutely beautiful boot - gorgeous leather, great fit. However, the zipper in the back is awful. It is a constant struggle to move up or down, and unfortunately I am debating whether or not to return them. I wish the zipper worked better, but it seriously takes too much effort. Totally bummed.

In the reviews a repeated compliant is the difficulty of the zipper. I purchased these boots as an anniversary present for my wife. She loves the style but could not operate the zipper herself. The zipper could be described as heavy duty as is needed for this application. The problem was solved by rubbing paraffin on the zipper to act as a dry lubricant. Actually used a paraffin based candle for the material. Exercised the zipper a number of times and the problem was solved. Would caution about using something like a bee s wax candle; if in doubt buy a cake of paraffin.

I've been wanting to order these since November and finally did and I don't regret it. They are COOL, beautiful construction, great quality, sexy but edgy, made in MEXICO not China. I am normally a 9.5 and I ordered a 9. They are a little narrow, but the length is right. The left one fits perfectly and the right one is a little snug. I decided against ordering a 10 as I think they might be too long. I got the black one's on sale on the Zappos sale website.

I purchased these as an anniversary present for my wife. She absolutely loves them and says they fit perfectly. Depending on the shoe/boot she normally wears size 9-9½. The size 9 of this boot seems to fit just fine.

To be fair, I did not order these from Zappos. I found them on deep discount somewhere else. When they arrived I found out why they were so inexpensive. Firstly, like everyone is saying, the zippers were stuck. Not just hard to move, but stuck. I figured no problem, I have a pair of Fluevog Zacharys, which are a tall lace up with no zipper. I can live with lacing these up all the time. But when I got the left boot on, the leather lining on the footbed was all bunched up and glued down in a wad in the toe area. There was no way I could wear them. And without getting the zipper down I couldn't get to the toe bed with my fingers enough to pull it up and see if I could fix it. So, thank you, everyone who posted solutions to the zipper issue. It took me about an hour to graphite the zippers, so now they work ok. I might try the paraffin idea too but I didn't have any on hand. Then I pulled up the toe bed leather, stuck some moleskin to the underside to make it lay flat, dropped a 3/4 length arch support in them, and wore them the rest of the day. My ex saw them on me and stopped in his tracks. So satisfying. I really love these. I had the Wyatt style but never wore them. They were gorgeous and comfortable, but just didn't seem to go with my wardrobe. The Grany is much more versatile in my opinion. Glad I took the time to make these wearable. Other than their flaws, for which I am grateful, because discounts are awesome, they are very sturdy, well made, and they look like they will last many many years.

These boots are beautiful. The leather is soft and the look is exactly what I wanted. My biggest issue is the fact that the zippers do not slide smoothly. It takes serious effort to use unzip and zip up. I will keep these, but I will not purchase this brand again.
