The Zappos site is easy to shop by. It offers reasonable prices for name brand products & most off all shipping is free. The order was placed promptly & promptly delivered on the day & date stated. My husband loves the sneakers!

I was looking for a replacement for my Nike 2014 Flex Runs that were my gym shoes for non-running cardio and strength training over the past year. The Flex Runs did a pretty good job overall, but I was looking for something more suited to general training and with a flatter heal for certain lifting exercises. I considered the Reebok Nanos since the Crossfit-based features would have worked well for me, but I didn't like the styling and heard some mixed things about the long-term durability. Based on my research, the Nike Free Trainer seemed like the best option for my price range. I was already familiar with the features that the Flex Runs shared, but these shoes have some differences: they feel lighter, the heel feels lower (although visually they look about the same), and sole has a different design. The front of the shoe has a rubber coating which should help with wear when doing planks, push-ups, and burpees. I've just started wearing these, so I can't comment on long-term comfort and durability. However, they have worked well with my lifting exercises and walking. Overall, they are comfortable, but they feel a little tight in socks--not sure it's a half-size smaller, but it's not quite the normal fit I get from Nike size 13. Without socks, they fit true to size. I didn't buy these for running (I have separate shoes for that), but I tried a quick jog and it was okay. I need more support for running, but the traction was very good on the indoor track. Like the Flex Runs, the mesh design gives the shoes great ventilation.

I ordered one size bigger, glad I did. I wear a large size 17, I heard people saying that run small, so I ordered size 18 and they fit absolutely perfect. Really nice shoe here. My main use for these is walking and they are very comfortable and supportive, also very well made.

Amazing fit and super lightweight. I'm an npc men's physique competitor and these are amazing training shoes that provide good stability and comfort in a lightweight sneaker.

Uncomfortable plastic sock of a shoe. I really wanted to love these guys, they look great in the picture (and not too shabby in real life) but they push against my front toe and the sock just doesn't feel very soft. I usually get 11.5 but I got these in 12 because I know Nike's run a bit small. Should have gotten 12.5. They don't feel like they have a ton of cushioning on the bottom, and the top is just a really thin layer of plastic, a bit weird.

I purchased these shoes to replace my Free Trainer 5.0 V5s. I have worn them for a few workouts and while the shoes are acceptably comfortable, they do not provide the same level of support and stability on squats or weight-bearing lateral movements as the version 5. Moreover, I miss the unibody construction of the version 5 without the freely moving tongue. These shoes use Nike's Flywire system. I bought a pair of Flywire shoes four years ago and there had not been much improvement. I do not hate these shoes, but I am hoping that I like them more over time.

I really wanted to like this shoe, but instead of providing the necessary comfort and support for working out, all it really gave me was a fair argument against purchasing shoes online. The concept behind the design of the shoe is excellent. The hex pattern sole allows the shoe to flex in any way your foot moves, which in theory, means less ankle and knee strain as you move through your workout. Just like working out barefoot, but with support... except it's not. The shoes run very small and extremely narrow. I have small, but wide feet (think hobbit without the fur). I ordered an 8 1/2. They don't have wide sizes, but that's usually not an issue with sneakers. Unfortunately, it is in this case. I could barely get the 8.5 D on my foot. So I returned it and ordered a 9. Zappos is great about returns so that's not really an issue. What I got, however, was an 8 in a size 9 box. So I sent it back again and finally got a 9 D. I probably should have ordered a 9 1/2 D instead as these are still really tight and pretty uncomfortable. I expect some breaking in, but these shoes are just not sized properly for people with feet. It's too late to return them now since I've been trying to suffer through the break-in for a week, so I will likely try to tough it out until I get around to buying a pair of NBs at DSW.

I am furious! I bought these shoes to replace my Nike Free Trainer 3.0 thinking of course that these would be an improvement but have just now, to my dismay, discovered that the swoosh isn't reflective!!! I think this is a very important safety feature -- I am out a lot at night -- and I feel cheated!

I got this shoe mainly because of aesthetic reasons, but I found it to be pretty comfortable. I liked how the back is more reinforced/structured than the typical Nike Free. I have wide feet but was able to purchase a half size up to accommodate this.

I found these shoes to be comfortable and stylish. I have wide feet, and although these shoes were not labeled as "wide," they were wide enough to be usable. I also liked how the shoe had a little more structure in the back compared to the typical Nike Free shoes.

Great as training shoes. I would not run in them, however. Very stable for lifting and other gym activities. Sole is firm. I usually have to buy a full size larger as I have a wide foot, but ended up a half size bigger on these and they fit fine.

Have 3.0 Free trainers. Needed something a little more substantial. Fit for me is 1/2 size bigger than my normal in both versions. Super comfortable and good looking. Would buy again.

These are excellent trainers. They are a little stiff at first but the break in period is quite short. These shoes will support a variety of workout styles and will look good doing it.

This is my new travel shoe that replaces my Skechers Memory Foam. Great arch support and feels comfortable even when I'm on my feet for hours at a time. Stylish enough that you can even wear this for semi-formal occasions. Will definitely keep around as my regular expedition shoe!

Just as advertised. Go 1/2 size big. Very serviceable training shoe. You can run a bit, if you like, but it is perfect for weights and functional training.

I love these shoes! They provide lots of support in the right places. They are comfortable and lightweight. They have good laces - I have noticed that some cheaper Nike shoes have really cheap laces - these are good.

I bought these for indoor kickboxing and cross fit. They are very light, snug fit on my feet, great traction, really the perfect shoe for that purpose.

True to Nike sizing. I usually wear a Men's 8 in Nike and these were spot on (I usually were a 7-7.5 in other shoe brands). These are excellent shoes. I'm a pharmacist and stand on my feet all day and these so far have been the most comfortable to wear (and believe me I've went through many shoes). They are also great for workouts and running. I'm thinking of purchasing another pair to dedicate to workouts so I don't wear down my work pair.

Nice shoe. However, the dark grey/white-back-persian violet is really a bright purple color! It is not at all a blue color as it appears online. Returning because my son did not like the purple.

Size ran about 1/2 too small. Zappos amazing customer service had a replacement pair within 2 days. Awesome shoe. Looks great, fits great and light as a feather. Very cool. Order 1/2 up and you should be good to go!

Size ran 1/2 size small for my fit, but exchange was simple and flawless. Had exchanged shoes in 3 days. But overall, these shoes are outstanding - very comfortable, very light, minimum support so my feet do not feel like they are being manipulated by supports and cushioning, much more a barefoot feel to them than other athletic shoes I wear. Best fitting and performing athletic shoes I ever owned.
