Okay, so I will start with style. I need to start off by saying that these are clog-type shoes, so they are chunky shoes and don't provide the skin pointy toe look. However, they are not the hugely oversized, super wide round toe behemoths. They are "tailored" to the feet, so while providing ample room for toes, they still provided a more streamlined and refined look. To give you an idea, I always pictured clogs to be worn with some sort of boot cut pant that would disguise the clunkiness of the shoe...however, I wear these with work slacks as well as skirts and dresses and they looked great. As far as sizing, I felt these were spot on. I vary between an 8.5 and 9 (mostly 8.5) and these fit like a glove. The heel is closer to 3.5 inches (not three as if states of the product description) so it provides awesome height, while still being comfortable due to its generous platform. I also want to note that I have a bit of a high instep, and the band across the top was not uncomfortable or restricting. Comfort...well, it's superb. I worked a 16 hour shift, walking around for a good portion of the day, and it was as if I was wearing flats...actually, I'd say that I was more comfortable in these than I would've been in flats. Due to its high price point, I only purchased the black to match a good chunk of my wardrobe...but I already have the brown color in my shopping cart waiting for my next paycheck. I hope this review helps any of you that may be on the fence.

I love these Dansko's! They are just tall enough with the platform that your back is not killing you. They are a bit stiff the first few times I wore them, but have loosened up. I wear size 11 and bought 11.5-12, which fit perfectly.

Beautiful shoe! Nice, elegant line that can be dressed up or down. Very comfortable heel, and the size 40 is a perfect fit for my 8 1/2 to 9 size foot. Bought in the neutral color and it works with just about everything.

Absolutely love these shoes!! They are super comfy and look amazing!! I get all kinds of complements! I love the height and that they make you look taller and leaner! Will probably buy them in brown.

These shoes are very cute! Even cuter and more feminine in real life. They are much narrower than most of the other Dansko shoes I have purchased in the past (I have over 10 pairs). I wear a 7 - 7.5 and I have wider feet, so I got a 37. They were almost too short and definitely too narrow. I am retuning for the 38. Hopefully they will fit better.

Wow! These are beautiful shoes! I loved that they are a great height not too high and not too low just right. They are very comfortable. I did have an issue where every time I took a step, the sole made a swishing sound. Only if barefoot not with sock. I knew I was going to keep them so what I did to remedy the situation was to add a thin layer of jojoba oil on my feet and let it work its way into the sole and it softened it up and the sound went away. I am currently saving my money to now purchase them in black because they are that cute!

I have the world's worst feet (wide foot, very narrow heel, bunions) so I live in flat, stretchy shoes in my free time, but I have to wear decent shoes to work. Plus, I am really short, and I love getting a few inches of height from my dress shoes. I ordered these shoes assuming I would have to send them back - but much to my surprise, they are awesome! They are comfortable, versatile, and very well made. I will be ordering more Dansko shoes.

I ordered the brown pair for my after Christmas trip to Cabo because I was looking for a closed toe sandal (wasn't feeling up to a pedicure.) Normally I wear a 37 in Dansko. Ordered these initially in a 37 but had to return and get them in a 38. The 37's were too narrow (I do have bunions.) The 38's are super comfortable and wide enough. Might be a hair too long in the length but I can deal with that. Width is more important for me. Highly recommend these stylish sandals!

These are super comfortable right out of the box with no rubbing. I like that it is less clunky and more narrow than typical Danskos. It's a very unique look. I'm still deciding if I can rock it or not.

These might be comfortable if you are used to high heels. Heel size was closer to 3.5 inches rather than the 3 listed in description. Too high for me.

I loved these the minute they came out of the box. Supremely comfortable, with great support and style. I've worn both with tights and barefoot, and with pants, skirts, dresses, jeans... it all works and looks cute. I like Dansko shoes for their durability and comfort and these do not disappoint. I've had for a year, worn several times a week and they still look brand new.

Most comfortable shoes I've ever worn!!!!

I bought the shoe in the taupe, returned it and purchased it in black months later. Could not pass these up because not many good walking shoes can do a vamp. I love them with a long skirt & short black moto jacket. :)

Nice basic shoe for jeans, dresses. It is a gray-nude color, perfect for my pale skin with bluish undertones. Comfortable, and the strap is a good length. My feet felt fine standing at a two hour party, and while that may not seem like high praise, my feet typically hurt in non-athletic shoes after 30 minutes. I love them!

Loved this shoe! Looks are deceiving because height was comfortable with platform sole. Insole was also soft, with great cushioning, and arch support. Made for a good walking shoe. Sized up as was suggested by previous reviewers. Style allows for ample room in toebox. I got a wide width, so there was no cramping, or jamming of toes when I walked. Fit was perfect!

I have to agree with most of the reviews of these wonderful pair! I don't usually wear platform shoes like these let alone 3" heels. I figured I would give them a go since they are Dansko. Out of the box, the color was as expected, I love the taupe. I put it on right away and off the bat I told my sister, verbatim, "these feel like slippers". They're not clunky at all despite their look. These will definitely be one of my go-to pairs! Please give them a try if you are thinking of trying them out.

Wow, what a great shoe! Super comfy and looks great with just about anything and any color! The sizing is right on, with plenty of toe room. The platform makes for nice height without the pressure on your feet. Well done Dansko.

Wow wow wow wow wow!!! Just received them. I put them on to try and I cannot believe how soft yet supportive they are. I didn't feel like I was wearing a pair of 3.5" heels but instead I felt like I was wearing flats! I read another reviewer saying she did a 16 hour shift in these puppies and now I believe why she did that because of how comfortable they are. I'd say they're true to size. I usually wear 7.5 in heels but 8 in sneakers. So I bought size 38 and they fit well. I might end up buying the black pair too :P

I cannot believe how comfortable these are! I am a teacher and I wear them all day, almost every day! They look great with a skirt or pants - the heel height is generous and they do not look clunky.

Wow. Fantastic straight out of the box. I didn't need break-in time and it was a good fit for my extra wide feet. The platform and heel give me a nice boost without feeling like a high heel.

I love this shoe. I have been looking for a cute shoe with comfort and a heel because I am so short. I can stand for long periods of time with out giving my feet a second thought. I have wide feet with bunions, sounds ugly but good for squashing grapes. I am part Italian, so I can say it. This shoe is soooo comfy. I have another pair in my cart so I can buy immediately when I get paid. If your sitting on the fence, don't be. With the return policy you can't go wrong. Pricing is perfect for a great working shoe. However you won't be returning you will be singing, "I am so happy"!

First off, I am a Dansko fan! I ordered these and am so pleased that I did. The fit is great. They are so stylish, and are versatile enough that you could dress them up with a skirt or dress casual and wear with pants or jeans. The heel height is just right for me. And, they have that classic Dansko comfortable wear. I liked them so much, I ordered them in another color as well.
