I really like the interior organization of this bag with the double padded slots, one of the laptop and one for the iPad. I also like the zipper on the bag providing easy access to these devices. Generally a smart looking bag that I enjoy using for my frequent plane trips for work. Timbuk2 never disappoints.

I like that this bag holds my laptop and my iPad separately in padded sleeves. The bag is deep so it holds the sweater I want to stuff away for chilly plane rides but also has lot so pockets for various gadget and cords and charging cables that I need.

Great backpack with really handy features

I've recently gotten into bike commuting to school and work, I have had trouble with backpacks in the past because of how broad my shoulders are and how chubby I am but this backpack really sits well on my back. It's extremely comfortable, has so many pockets and compartments inside and out and I also like that the straps have a moveable buckle to make sure it's even more secure on your body. I think one thing that could bother me is how close the straps are seen on to the top of the backpack as they sit on my neck but I think as it gets worn in it will be more comfortable.

This was a gift for my son and he loved it. Fit well, had all the pockets he wanted, it was a very happy birthday!

I have a school-style backpack from Timbuk2 that I have used and loved, but as I have been cycling much more I really needed a bag that could carry more things (for quick shopping trips or as an overnight bag). This bag has so many little places to store everything. Pockets and pouches galore make sure every little thing organized! The water bottle pouch on the side, and the velcro bike lock holder are both great additions as well, leaving room in the inside. The laptop sleeve is soft and has a strap to keep your prized possession safe. Finally, with the bag almost full loaded, the straps are quite comfortable and don't put a lot of strain as you carry more weight. This is my 2nd bag from Timbuk2, and I highly recommend it (especially for cyclists, commuters, and active people of all kinds!) Timbuk2 keeps me coming back every time I need a new bag!

This is a great bag. It's deep, sturdy, and it just looks good. Customer service is also excellent, I received my bag and it was defective (it happens) so I emailed customer service and they sent me a new one free of charge, and with expedited shipping. 10/10 would recommend.

This is my second backpack from Timbuk2. I've put a million miles on the first one and retired it to a needy friend. I just got my new one and it's like saying Hi to a Puppy I'll know for a long time!

Quality and functionality of this classic spire exceeds my expectation. For my EDC, a 15 inch Macbook sits well protected by the strong back cushion and false bottom. awesome!

I use this bag every day when I go to work. It fits all the little things I need for working a tech job: cables, cables, hand sanitzer, a book, and also some cables. Highly recommend!

Good amount of pockets and space for my laptop, notebooks, lunch, and miscellaneous work stuff. Keeps everything safe and dry during a PNW winter. The water bottle pocket is great and fits either my water bottle or my giant coffee tumbler. Lightweight, it weighs as much full, as my old bag did empty. I wish there was one more pocket inside to keep charging cords and pens/pencils/accessories separate.

I'm so excited to find a backpack that fits my MacBook AND a big PC laptop without getting too heavy and with plenty of room for more stuff. And as soon as the snow melts I'm looking forward to my bicycle commute without worrying about rain!

I commute everyday by bike in Texas where temperature can be all over the place. I needed a bag large enough to house a second outfit, laptop, bike lock, and essentials plus occasional grocery and general supply runs. This bag has been perfect, Durable, spacious, lots of convenient access and secure pockets. Rolltop design also allows it to feel and look a lot smaller when it's not full. Couldn't be happier with this one.

I was looking for a backpack that could serve dual purposes: professional and cool for leisure. The Timbuk2 Spire Laptop Backpack exceeded my expectations. I can fit my 14" Lenovo X1 Carbon and MacBook 12" while still having room for my GoPro Hero 8 + accessories and a day's outfit or jacket. The backpack is light, durable, and water repellent. In all, the best backpack I've ever owned.

Perfect gift for my son who just moved to California. He was looking for a great bag that held a lot and provided enough room and protection for his lap top. Initially thought it might be too large but it was perfect! Video captures exactly why this bag is perfect for travel and day to day use. Not too bulky, great combo of professional look and casual use! Great price!!

I love to walk but I haven't in awhile, I'm someone who pairs down as much as I can when traveling. I got a lap top and didn't have a way to carry it officially. I was using my old small Timbuk2 from the 90s (I still love it) I made a bubble wrap sleeve for my computer. I used it once so far. It seems like it is great quality and needs to be broken in like all my favorite stuff. I wish it came with a chart of all the bells and whistles. Why is there the loops from Velcro on the outside? I saw a small short video on it but it seems like there is more. I can explore but, it seems like there are some mysterious nooks and crannies. Cool though. Way worth the money even if I hadn't gotten an incredible deal.

This is an excellent upgrade from the last version of this bag which I had owned for years. More pockets, better fit, and the zippers don't get in the way. It is sleek and easy to wear for long rides. And the best part as always is that you can slip your ulock in the front! Bonus! There is quick zipper access from the back. Love this bag.

I needed a backpack that I could use every day and I got it!

It's size is massive. I just had to buy this to experience and witness it myself. I transferred my stuff from my Never-check expandable pack to the Spire and the Spire still has room to spare. Amazing. I hope I will get to really like this in more days to come. Cheers!

This is my 2nd Time purchasing a TIMBUK2, the first was a Messenger Bag, which I use for my camera and LOVE it . I was going CRAZY looking for a Backpack for my travels and purchased a Under Armor Backpack and it was ok BUT I was NOT satisfied. It took me Hours of reviewing the different backpacking, reading , taking measurement , I was driving my self NUTs finally I found Spire Backpack, read the reviews, and took a chance and purchased it When I received it I was Soo relieved, perfect size, a lot of space, will fit under a airplane seat , Water resistant, not to heavy of a backpack, great size for a woman like me , 5'1 .
