I've been using regular packing cubes happily for years, but lately found I wanted more options. The compression really squeezes down excess air/fluff with tops/ skirts & undies. The bright red waves contrast with my other colors to easily spot what I'm looking for.

I travel to visit my children in another country and love to take my compression sets along. I can take so much more in my suitcase and enjoy my organized suitcase while there!

How about leggings, a nice skirt, 6 shirts, and a soft cardigan all in one medium cube barely 2" high? I've been living out of a backpack almost constantly for 6 of the past 7 years. I write about travel so I've had ample opportunity to look at various brands on the market. Eagle Creek created the Packing Cube and they're good at making them better and better. I thought I'd wanted lighter weight but I found the lighter fabric didn't actually hold the clothing down. For what turned out to be the next 6 months, I added one medium Original Compression to my pack and found it was best. Next month I hope to travel with 2 of these. Someone said they weren't happy with the zippers. I understand that. When we compress, the extra side fabric has to go somewhere. Hold your finger inside as you zip and you're fine. By the way, once I compress my shirts, skirts, leggings inside, I don't typically unzip the compression zipper. It's easy to pull out any one or two rolled items and slide another in. I love Eagle Creek's innovation and I recommend Eagle Creek daily in conversation and when I teach travel.

Bought as a gift - so I have not personally used it. From what I can tell the zipper works great and it's durably made. My friends who received it LOVED it and have already used it twice.

Packed 2 medium Compression Cubes along with 1small and 1medium Pack-it Specter Garment Folder in 24 inch suitcase for 3 weeks in Europe. Even had room to bring my own pillow! Clothes stayed in their containers everywhere I stopped, saving time, space and providing peace of mind that they'd stay clean.

No more loose items in my suitcase. I can see what's in them and the compression feature let's me pack more.

I normally prefer the clean and dirty cubes for most of my packing needs. However, I do have a set of these as they do fit a niche. When I travel to visit family for extended weekends, I typically only use a small carry-on style bag. I will use a compression cube in the winter to help compress a few Columbia fleeces when I travel in winter. These cubes work great for that.

This garment bag set is exactly what I need for an upcoming trip. Plus, I know that it will be a standard part of my travel regimen for years to come. Great, quality product from a company that understands the travel needs of people like me.

2nd set of compression cube, husband keep using my set so got this set for him

I have been using Pack-It folders and cubes for years and love them. The compression version of my beloved Pack-It cubes saves about half the space used by the none compression cubes. I can get more in less and that is a good thing.

I bought this compression cube set as a Christmas gift for my niece who will be studying abroad next semester and decided to gift a set to myself as well. I traveled for the holidays and this set (paired with a specter set) saved me from having to check an additional bag (for a fee). I followed the instructions other reviewers gave for using the compression feature and found the cubes easy to close and effective in reducing the space my clothes consumed by about 50%. I am an average size woman and was able to fit two pairs of jeans and two mid-weight sweaters in the large cube and four long-sleeve shirts in the smaller cube. I plan to use this set every time I travel!

I will use these packing cubes on a long trip.

Great for traveling

Our family of 4 just returned from 2 weeks in Italy and loved how theses compression cubes helped us pack. We packed each of our children's clothes in the larger of the cubes and zipped them tight. So 2 kids = 2 compression tubes = done. We definitely felt we saved space once these were zipped tight.

I travel every other week for work and the cubes were recommended for organization. It is also nice knowing if my luggage was opened by airport security my personal items are safe in these cubes. I like the idea of the added compression however, I have yet to use it in that manner. I love the fire red color and it makes my mundane work trips fun and colorful.

Bought these for a 2 week Europe vacation to help compress my clothes and make enough room to bring everything I needed and more. I've continued to use them for every trip, whether it's a week or a few days.

i use these for vacation travel, it does give me the opportunity to NOT check a bag with the airlines.

I use these to travel at any time for a long weekend up to two weeks abroad. I only ever take my carry on and these are ideal. I have put up to 7 pairs of pants in the larger one. It does compact your clothes. The only downside is it isn't as easy to compress as the video shows, but they still do a pretty good job and keep everything organized along with my small envelope. I definitely recommend eagle creek products. I have pretty much switched all of my luggage to them. I have used other brands in the past, but for the price eagle creek can't be beat.
