Holds up much better than the Vans version. Removal in-sole allow for easy cleaning, too.

If you love Vans you will love the more grown up SeaVees Legend sneakers. This particular purchase was my tenth pair! It has a more comfortable footbed, designed for all day wear and the construction is much better quality. I usually wear a men's size 12, but an 11½ in Vans. The toe box of the Seavees sneaker narrows a little more than Vans, so I went with a 12 and the fit is superb. It is fitted enough that it does not feel lose without socks, but leaves plenty of room if you want to wear them.

I had initially bought the Legends thinking that they were a more upscale version of Vans or Converse-- a nicer build, better quality, with more comfort and support. I discovered that I was wrong. Definitely not worth the premium, to the extent that there is one. First, in person, the shoes look exactly like Vans - except for the branding, but the sole is flimsier. The canvas is thin and feels like a carton. After awhile, the shoes loosen up and your foot shifts inside as you walk. Also, there is not support in the sole at all. The shoes come with a cushion insole, but it is completely useless. It feels like I'm walking around in a pair of thin socks. Moreover, the wall of the shoes, where it bends normally, has come unglued and this is only after about 6 to 7 weeks of use! (I find this to be a mixed blessing, since if a hole develops, I can toss them without guilt and get another pair of shoes.) I once had a pair of cheap Converse knock-off (bobos... as we use to say) when I was much younger and these shoes are no better than those were. (Except those were less than ten buck and these are over 70!) I also bought a pair of the Monterey's at the same time as these Legends, and while the design is slightly better, the feel and support is just as bad. I have wondered, since Seavees is a CA company, perhaps their customer base does not work around as much we do in NYC. In any case, if your are looking for a stylish comfortable shoes for a casual work environment, these shoes are a disappointment and I would recommend that you look else work.

First pair of SeaVees I’ve bought. The show was exactly what I’d hoped for. A simple, comfortable, white canvas sneaker. A GREAT shoe for the price!

The most comfortable shoe in this style I've tried. This shoe is on par, if not more cozy, than Vans.

Light, breathable sneakers with decent cushioning for walking around. Wore these while walking around beach towns on vacation and while they don't offer the cushioning of more expensive sneakers like Greats, they also come without the weight and price. They're better built and worth the extra money over a comparable pair of Vans, and compared to the same amount of work I've put them through, the SeaVees seem like they will hold up better over the long run as well. Highly recommended, especially if you're like me and like a light sneaker with moderate cushioning that you can wear without socks. Great summer shoe.

I ordered a half size larger than normal and glad I did. Shoes are very comfortable and happy with purchase. They are lighter color then in pic. Zappos is the best!

Got a pair for my man as a substitute for the overly flat sneakers that were hurting his feet. Success! These have decent arch support and padding. He wore them to a packed rock show the second day he got them - lots of standing for hours on a concrete floor. No complaints. His size varies depending on the brand by 1/2 size, and he picked the larger size for this shoe.

I love this shoe in Bleach. sleek, minimal, classic construction and has a cool old school sneaker vibe. Looks awesome with everything. Super clean.

The fit is a little tight for me but I’ll be able to wear them. I don’t like the top view, I got the white soles and I think they extend too far into the shoe. I’d rather it stopped at edge of shoe. They seem comfortable

Very nice looking shoes and they look great with summer clothes, perfect for vacation, pool, beach. Nice grownup sneaker. The toe area is quite narrow, and I would have went with a 12 (my true size) but then the rear foot would be HUGE and the laces would never be tight enough. The removable footbed is so-so for cushion, not much arch support. But a nice looking, well-made shoe. Excellent for lounging, I just wouldn't plan on walking a whole lot in these.

The rubber on the toe comes up really high, which looks strange. The toe box felt tight.

These are pretty cool shoes. Dress em up or go casual. Easy to clean

I was very please with the shoes. They are very comfortable right out of the box. My only complaint is that they flex out on the sides when I walk. It might help if they were sized a bit smaller but I am afraid they would slightly tighter then I like.

I didnt like the look of this shoes as it was much too bulky and was not a fan of the way the toe box looks. Will not be buying these again.

Blister machines. Don't know why or what it is but I absolutely can't wear these shoes without getting blisters, socks or no socks doesn't matter. Style is on point.
