A bit narrow at the toe compared to other Converse laceless. Also, the band that secures your foot to the shoe is seen. Looks like the band through the tongue isn't quite measured right. Returned because the band is light tan and looks lame on a black shoe.

I'm here to comment on the fit. It's a sharp looking shoe and you either like it or you don't! I generally wear a size 10. I followed the advice of the sales rep and ordered a 9.5 which does, in fact, fit more like a 10 -- though a bit snug in the toe. I'm hoping the toe loosens up, as a size 10 would definitely fit too loosely. Overall, the unbroken-in shoe is not terribly uncomfortable. I was able to wear the shoes for a full day without the snug toe being overly bothersome.

Perfect fit. So comfy if you like the flat converse style... Get away with wearing them with all kinds of looks too.

Like a classic Chuck Taylor had a love child with a Vans slip-on! They look nice and ratty right out of the box so you don't have to baby them stepping in puddles.

The fit in the toe box is a little narrow until broken in. Having wide feet, mine always rip at the knuckle of the pinkie toe. Once that rips, they become perfectly comfortable (I don't count the insoles as I always swap 'em for superfeet.) It seems odd to buy shoes knowing that they'll give in certain areas, but thats exactly what I like about these. As you wear them, the more they wear out aesthetically, the more they start to feel like you're just wearing socks, but equally important to you guys is aesthetics. Have you ever had a t-shirt or pair of jeans that you wore/wear that just keep getting rattier, taking on a more organic and personal appearance? Thats what these do. I've been wearing variants since, jeez, 08? I add black elastic bands, one per shoe, to supplement laces and improve the hold over the internal band so that they're still slip ons but with a very functionable fit. I get them filthy working, and the fabric patterns blend with the mess and frays.

I have never been able to wear converse because of the lack of arch support. These shoes have great arch support and are extremely comfortable!

These Converse were great, love the distressed look, and was pleasantly surprised by the arch support these offered compared to classic Converse. I am usually a 13 but I learned from previous experience that Converse run a little large so I ordered the 12 and sure enough, perfect size.

Most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, now buying them in colors! Very fashionable, I get tons of compliments. I play in a rock band, wear them during shows, feel great!

These definitely run large - a full size, I reckon - which is an important consideration for slip-ons. Downsize a half or even a full size for a better fit. Varvatos Converse shoes have a much better insole than normal Cons, an important factor for a Converse junkie such as myself. You definitely pay more for the name, but I feel it's worth it. Varvatos Cons are always stylish and comfortable, and always among my favorite shoes in my collection. I got this particular style from Zappos for $55 - an insanely good bargain, as you usually can't get a pair of Varvatos Cons for less than $100. Go for it, but go a bit smaller than usual.

So bummed... my feet aren't wide enough to warrant size wide shoes, and am used to shoes squeezing slightly at first, but these were so narrow that I had to return them... wish they weren't so narrow, they are a good looking lair of shoes!

My husband took these in a half size smaller than he normally wears. He has a very narrow foot and these fit wonderfully. Not recommended if you have a wide food. They look great and have held up very well - no complaints.

Really like the fit, I am a size 10 and ordered a size 10,it fit fine. Was a little narrow at the toes at first, but once I broke them in, they were fine. Great to wear around the firehouse too!

Bought for my granddaughter and she loves them. She finds them very comfortable. They did seem to run about a half a size larger but we had no problem exchanging them for a smaller size.

Awesome, just awesome. The tip is a dark black and the rest of the shoe looks like a dark blue/black. Good for casual work environment.

Prompt response and delivery of these cool kicks. A stray thread or two on the stitching, but overall these are a quality product.

Fantastic shoe! Nordstrom is sold out. Zappos is the only place to find them. They run about a size too big.

I was searching everywhere for this shoe, all over online stores and brick and mortar converse shops. Zappos had exactly what I was looking for and it shipped.

These are really the perfect summer shoe. Why spend more for the Varvatos Chucks? These use a much more comfortable and supportive insole, and the general quality of the shoe seems higher than the standard version. Great padding and arch support (which is non-existent in regular Chucks). I was happy with this style because the white isn't the goofy neon white of a new tennis shoe, and the design is unassuming but cool. Perfect for wearing with shorts without socks. I've gotten to the point where I just buy a new pair every summer and wear them out. I wear a size 9 in these, which is equivalent to a 9.5 in most shoes and a 10 in a Nike size. If you're planning on wearing without socks, definitely shoot for a smaller size.

Fit perfect and my Dad (age 88) loves them -- and he is very hard to please! I notice that he wears them every time he goes out now.

Perfect stylish, not run-of-the-mill low-top Converse All Stars. I love the aged look of the white midsole. The insert is definitely better than the standard Chucks. The clear outsole with the All Star logo adds style when kicking back relaxing. I wear w/ and w/out laces. No issues when wearing without laces. These are the perfect shoes for jeans and a t-shirt. Durability, as with most canvas shoes, is not the best as I have some slight tears in the rear of both shoes (about a year old, worn a few times a week). However, age always seems to give Chucks more character, so these are nowhere near retirement yet. All around, a great casual sneaker.

Would have gone half size smaller and I already went half-size smaller so really...full size would have done, they're large for a slip-on style shoe. But threw on black laces and insoles and they're fine, still love the shoe.
