These are cute shoes that fit perfectly, but I have a couple of issues with them. They are overpriced. For this price the straps should be sturdier. I know they are not leather, but seriously, so much for these shoes is a little ridiculous. The sole is thinner and softer than other Birkenstocks. It costs roughly $45 to have Birks resoled. I am concerned that I would have to get them resoled after only a few weeks of wear.

These shoes saved my summer. I loved them. I wore them when it probably was not appropriate to (at work), because I refused to take them off. They are beautiful, in a quirky way. They have the support and roominess I needed for my feet. The only thing that I would change is the material of the straps, because I think they could have been made with a more durable material. I wear through shoes pretty hard, so I might not get more than another half summer out of them, but I would buy them again in a heartbeat. The silver is classy and somewhat dressy. I wish they had more metallic colors, because they seem a bit more dressy than the plain ones.

Wish Birkenstock made more like this! Walked a ways and danced at a wedding the first time I wore them and had no problem with my "plantar fasciitis" feet! Love!

These are the most comfortable sandals I've worn in a long time! I can't stop singing their praises. A friend recommended them after "walking all over Europe in them" and boy, was she right! I wore them nearly every day on my recent vacation and loved every minute of it. So comfy! No blisters. In fact, there was really no break-in period at all! Plus, they're pretty cute and they seem to go with everything. Win-win. Highly recommended!!! Some notes on sizing... these run big. Order at least a half size down. I usually wear a 7-7.5 and the 6.5 fit perfectly. I didn't have any issues with the toe straps being too big - fit just right.

I did not think that I would ever wear a pair of Birkenstocks because the style has always been bulky and stuck in the 60's. Not so for the Alyssa. This sandal is narrower than the traditional Birk yet very comfortable right from the box. The anatomical foot bed coupled with the strappy style I love make this a winner.

These sandals are very comfortable. I have a number of issues with my feet and ankles, and for a long time thought that I was doomed to wear sneakers for the rest of my life. But I can wear Birks. Although these are called "narrow," they're really not. I think because most Birkenstocks are very wide, by comparison these are narrow, but I have average-width feet and these fit fine. If anything, the front strap is just a bit loose on me. My only complaint is that I wish these came in more colors. I have the silver, and I don't really have a use for the other dark colors.

I have recurring plantar fasciitis and wear Birkenstock or Papillo almost exclusively for the arch support. I was wary of these because they were only in Narrow but they work great. It is nice to have something just a little dressier when we go out for the evening. I bought a pair in black and after wearing them out one evening, I came home and ordered the brown.

Amazingly comfortable shoe, better than barefoot, better than sneakers. I hope Birkenstock makes many more models with this heel -- it's just perfection for the foot. Well, and it's pretty stylish!

First off, I read the reviews and order the next size up. Too big for me. I am a 6.5 and even the 37 is almost too big. I also suffer from mortons neuroma. I have a terrible time finding shoes with the right amount of support. These shoes have reduced the pain in my feet and legs tremendously. I was amazed. I wear them all the time. They are not narrow- rather the toe straps barely touch my foot. One down fall, which I really don't mind, is that they are not leather. Other then that, they are one of the best shoes ever. I will likely order more...but I might try a smaller size to see if it shorter just a smidge.

The size and width are fine even though they call it narrow, I would say that it is medium width. The only problem is that the toe straps are too loose which causes the front of the shoe to flop when I walk. I am very sad they are really nice shoes. I have to return them.

Very comfy a slightly dressier look than my flatter birkis. Fit very well. Fine for standing or walking all day if your used to wearing a slight wedge.

I like narrow Birkenstocks, and I love my new pair of Alyssas! I especially like the extra heel height you get with this style!

I was nervous about these because they only came in narrow and I usually wear a medium in Birkenstock but they are wonderful. Feminine, understated and have all the comfort of Birkenstock but with a small wedge. I will be getting these in another color. I usually wear a 6.5 but I order up a size to a 38 and they are perfect.

Very comfortable. Not as narrow as I would have liked, but much better than many shoes I've tried. They are wonderful to stand in for a long time, and easy and comfortable to walk in. I am very happy!

Really nice sandal, just the arch I was looking for and nice leather. But sadly, these aren't close to being a narrow width. I could tighten the back strap for a good fit, but because the front strap is not adjustable there was way too much space between the top of my foot and the straps.

These shoes are amazing! The comfort of my Birkenstock Gizehs but much more feminine and dainty. They do run small, so get a size larger. I am normally a 38 in Birkenstocks but because these were listed as narrow I bought a 39 and I am so glad that I did. They feel wonderful right out of the box. I may have to get them in more colors!

I really wanted these shoes for an upcoming trip, but the toe box was to narrow, I had to return them. I love the fit of the Birkenstocks, I just wish more styles were available.

I saw these on a woman in the airport and stopped her to ask her the brand - they are super cute and looked perfect for an upcoming trip. Sadly, the strap hit my little toe in just the wrong way and I know that would just be miserable. Also, the right and left seemed to be sized differently - I could try another pair, but with the little toe strap issue, I just do not think that it will matter. Bummer.

I really like the sandals, and if you have a wider foot than mine, they would be fine. My feet are very narrow, so they slip down toward the front, thus placing the foot at the wrong spot on the footbed. Otherwise, really cute shoe.

These sandals fit perfectly and are very comfortable. They certainly are not cutting edge fashion but hey, shoes have to feel comfortable or I just won't wear them.

These shoes would have been perfect if the straps across the toes could be adjusted. They were too wide at the toe and did not secure my feet at all. Such a shame as these are casual, but can be dressed up a bit.

These shoes are very comfortable , they are too loose in the toe area, which can't be helped because there is no buckle or velcro to adjust it with, and it only comes in two colors. Otherwise I would not hesitate to buy a pair because they support my arches very well and would be really good for my plantar fasciitis.

These are really cute. The heel/silver make them look less "Birkenstock-y." After reading comments, sounds like sizing is all over the place. I am a fairly true 6.5. I bought the 37 originally but the front straps were too big. I exchanged for the 36 which are a better fit. In a perfect world, there would be a half size in between.

These shoes are exactly what I'm looking for, except they run very wide. I ordered a 38 Narrow, and they are anything but narrow - too wide for my Mom who even has slightly wide feet. If they came with an adjustable strap near the front of the sandal, they might work, but unfortunately are going back. So sad!

Huge, my foot was swimming in the front straps, had to go back. It is a little weird that the upper is lined with felt so it was soft. Probably can't go a size down because it was the proper length. Sad because they might look nice and are the style I was looking for.
