These are by far the best shorts I've ever owned. The last forever and are extremely comfortable. The belt makes them stay put, the fabric has just right amount of stretch. Honestly, these are the only shorts you'll ever need. By them in multiple colors!

Good for hiking or social activities. Nice fit, cool and stretchy with good pockets.

Lightweight, stretch, breathable. Comes with a belt and best belt loops design that keeps belt in place. Length of shorts perfect. Did you catch I really like these shorts? This is my second pair.

Outstanding. I am a 5'11" 150lb fit climber. Getting shorts to fit on my frame is difficult. OR offers these down to 28 waist (30 fit me perfectly). The belt is functional and durable which is important for the active person. Typical durable but breathable lightweight product from OR, i.e. like their Ferrosi line.

This is my second pair of these shorts, and I love them. Another versatile OR product, as I have worn these shorts to work, on backcountry backpacking trips and for remote field research. My original pair has survived multiple seasons of fieldwork and backpacking trips, and they are still in good shape. I am 5'7" and 150 lbs. with an athletic build, and the 30 waist fits me well. In my experience, waist size on OR shorts and pants tend to run a bit large, but the waist on these shorts runs true to size.

Love these. Zippered pockets please. Scrambling, climbing around is always an invitation to lose valuable contents that need to be readily accessible.

These are the most universal shorts I own. I wear them for everything from hiking to summer pool parties. They are light weight, wash easily, do not require ironing and travel well. The belt fails to hold tension perfectly, but it works adequately and avoids the need to pack separate belt. The fit is true.

I like everything about these shorts. Comfortable, lightweight, very breathable, good belt, side zip pocket stays close to the shorts; I like that. Yep, a zippered pocket vs. Velcro; good form OR. Zip pocket holds 8Plus size phone; very good. Length of shorts perfect for my build. They look great. Nope, do not work for OR. Thank you for a great product.

Last week, I body surfed in the morning in the Pacific, they dried on my body, and I wore them mountain bike in the afternoon, then jumped into the pool with them on for a swim with the family

Great shorts. I purchased in mushroom color. The belt is a nice add on and it washes great with the belt attached.

Theses shorts are just about perfect for everything. They're lightweight and cool, just the right length, and super comfortable. I don't like the built-in belt, but that a very minor gripe.
