This jacket is wonderful. I tried about 10 different rain jackets from Zappos before choosing this one. I chose this over North Face, Patagonia, and the more expensive version from Mountain Hardwear. A lot of the jackets swished so much when you walked that they were annoying. This one was slightly wider in the hips so it stayed down and didn't ride up at all or bind. I ordered Larges in all of the ones I tried. I love the zipper design on this jacket, too. I wore this on a hiking trip (both cross country and up a mountain) overseas, and it rained on hiking and non-hiking days so I wore it every day for about 12 days. The best feature aside from functioning as a rain jacket is that it did NOT smell at the end of the trip. My daughter selected a North Face rain jacket, and it stunk by the end of the trip. I think the fabric that Mountain Hardwear has designed and uses is just better for this kind of use than the more fashion-branded rain jackets.

I loved this jacket but felt it fit a bit small in the chest/bust area. It is lightweight and the hood was large enough to fully cover you in a downpour. I want to wear a fleece under it when I hike but the size is too tight. I would recommend this if you want a lightweight waterproof jacket.

Nice stylish coat that truly is rainproof. I bought it for my wife who runs and bikes. The coat is perfect for activewear as its streamlined. She is 5'3" and weighs 110 lbs and the XS fits her perfectly. She has been in the rain with it and remained totally dry. She did have some heat inside the coat but not excessive. It looks great and functions as stated.

I bought the soft green and still are pleased with the cheerful color. The jacket is true to size if worn with a thin shirt, but bought a size larger so I may wear a sweatshirt under it if need be. It has been proven waterproof in the rain and snow. It is somewhat pricey for what appears to be a plain rain jacket, but it is not easy to find a well- made rain jacket with zipped pockets and a hood (that is really waterproof) in a color you like.

I bought this jacket to wear as a rain jacket for in between seasons. It can fit over a sweater if you buy a size larger than you normally wear. It is very comfortable and so far, waterproof. I even wear it in the summer if it is pouring rain. The hood has a visor and a drawstring so it keeps the rain off your face. The zipped pockets can hold a cell phone, wallet and keys. I usually buy black rain jackets but the light minty green is a cheerful shade and a pleasant change. A simple thing such as a rain jacket that fits well, keeps water off your face and holds your essentials is harder to find than one might imagine.

I love this jacket. It looks good on and has room for light layers underneath. It has a lightweight lining that makes it more comfortable to wear than a jacket without.I also like that there is no Velcro.

This is a really nice lightweight rain jacket. I usually wear medium jackets. The medium is roomy and the sleeves are a little long, but the Velcro helps the sleeves. There is also a drawstring at the bottom side of the jacket that you can pull and tighten the fit. The small was just a little too fitted for my taste. So the medium was a better choice for me. The mesh lining is also inside the sleeves, which is nice. I like that the hood has a visor. The picture shown here of the black jacket has the logo on the chest. The black jacket I received does not have the logo there, so that was disappointing, because it looks really plain without it. The logo is actually at the end of one of the sleeves, which is hard to notice because the sleeves wrinkle a little due to being a little long. I just expected and wanted the jacket to look like the picture, with the logo on the chest. Overall it seems to be a good quality jacket.

I received the jacket today and was quite pleased with the comfortable fit and cheerful mint green color. However; I must warn that it runs small. I purchased a large (though I usually wear a small or medium) after I read that it was tight across the chest. It fits as the medium size rain jackets generally fit me. I like my jackets to be loose enough to be comfortable for a long walk so I stay away from the form-fitting styles. The hood is oversized,which I prefer, but may be a consideration for some. As long as you size up I think you will be very pleased with this jacket. As usual, the delivery was very fast.

If you don't like the zipper when you first get it, you won't like it any better after getting soaked a few times. And don't bother with warranty repair. That was an additional waste of time and money. Try North Face for better quality.
