When I first tried them on I thought they were a half size to big but I had on really thin socks and didn’t take that into account. So I put the extra inserts in which I think are a great option. Than they fit perfect. After wearing thicker socks with them though they actually actually felt a little snug so I removed the inserts and now I prefer them without. I have to say these boots are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. Even right out of the box, I didn’t have a break in period. I can wear these all day and into the night with no issues. I never want to take them off. I love Blundstone boots and think everyone deserves to indulge once in awhile for something amazing!!!

After reading the reviews on Zappos to refer to Blundstone’s size chart on their website, I went off that measurement and could not be more happy with my boots. I am a solid 9 for chacos, a 39 in Birkenstocks, and a 9.5 in Vans and the women’s 10.5 in these boots fit great.

im a true women's size 9. had to size up to a 9.5 in the 587's. i have relatively narrow feet, the size 9 on these shoes were much to narrow, and i couldn't relax my toes comfortably. the 9.5 is wider than the 9, but not by much, so it's perfect! i did try the the size 10, and they are so big and wide, looked like clown shoes on me. such a huge jump in fit from the 9/9.5. i was wondering.. if the W10, which is the equivalent of M8, is the size where blundstone starts catering more to men's fit. because if you go to other retailers like rei and backcountry, that's the size they start their men's blundstone sizing. so anyway, i love it, highly recommend it, great quality and fit, and awesome versatility.

i freaking love these shoes I’d been eyeing them for months but tentative about the cost but they are 100% worth it. so cute and comfy!!

I am usually a women's 9.5 but wear 10 in running shoes. I needed a 7 in these because the 6.5 was just too short with socks. The color I got is beautiful (rustic black) which is definitely grey that matches everything. Gorgeous boots and the only Chelsea's I have tried that are tight enough on the ankle to not look goofy.

These were comfortable right out of the box! No break in period needed. I’m usually an 8.5 but went with the 9’s after reading some reviews and they fit perfectly.

WOW! What a great shoe! They arrived, I put them on in the house, and didn't take them off for hours, cos -- omg -- so cozy and comfy. Can I wear to bed? I ordered a half size up from what I normally wear.

I am so happy with my purchase! I typically wear a women's size 7, so I bought a size 4. Unfortunately, I had to return the shoes because they were too tight and rubbed up against the top of my feet. Thankfully though, Zappos' customer service was fantastic, and I was easily able to return and buy a new pair in a size 8 (5). They fit perfectly now!

They definitely run a little small. I normally wear a 7.5 but had to go up to an 8.

I thought I would wear these a few hours a day to break in. I put them on in the morning and they stay on all day, no break in time. I am always dressed casual. I wear these with leggings, jeans, yoga pants.

It’s a tad snug on the top of the foot if you have a high arch or instep. I have a pair and my son just got this pair and reports the same issue. (He inherited my high instep.). These boots are fantastic for climbing around in snow and slush. Feet stay dry and they aren’t so clunky that they are hard to walk in. I wear them to work and I’ve shoveled snow in them. Really love them and they are perfect for Minneapolis winters!

I love these boots and have a pair of 500’s as well. Here’s a useful tip - experiment with insoles a bit. These 587’s feel a little larger inside vs. my 500’s. Not larger in length but just a little looser on the foot if that makes any sense? They came with a pair of flat footbed liners that decreased some of that looseness and then i added some oBoz insoles as i did with my 500’s and they are now perfect....so mess around a bit with insoles and blundstones become even better as you can almost literally fine-tune the fit.

I love this shoe! It is both comfortable and stylish. I did have to try other Bludstones styles before I found this one. It is a keeper.

Wrong boot in the box. Looks like the Sand Suede instead of the Rustic Black. Sending back. I will have to wait until the Rustic Black comes back in my size. Bummer!!!

Finally joined the club after almost everyone I know bought these. Based on other reviews, I don't know if it's the whole line or just this colorway but they are TINY. I'm a true 7.5 in everything, so I ordered the AU4.5 and could barely get my foot in it; it felt a full size too small. I had to size up to 9! (AU6) Besides the fit issue, they are great so far. More comfortable and forgiving than the Doc Martens they are replacing.

I’ve owned two pair of these boots and absolutely love them. They are great to slip on and go anywhere. They dress down and dress up. I even wore them hiking all over the wet/rainy PNW. Hiking rugged terrain took a small toll on the appearance of the boots, so I bought a second pair to wear out. Both are still holding up great. Can’t recommend these boots enough.
