Very pleased with these shoes. They're lightweight, attractive, have great support, including arch support. Because of the shape of the toe area (angled), for anyone whose toe next to the big toe is longer than the big toe, you might want to consider a different style, however.

Definitely fits like a glove. I was unable to put an orthotic into it, which I have to have. Loved the look, did not realize I would not be able to fit an orthotic. There is no removable insole like most shoes.

This was the only shoe I used on a 23 day trek across the Owen Stanley Range in Papua New Guinea. The traction was equally reliable when crossing rivers as well as the slippery muddy trails. They also dried fast. It is time for a new pair.

These shoes are just as flexible and cushiony as they appear in the video! I LOVE them. I usually wear a 7.5 - but the toe box felt too snug, so I went up a half size and the size 8 fits splendidly! My feet are so happy!

I have finally found the perfect hiking tennis shoe for me! Best fit ever! I have bunions and most shoes are uncomfortable not these. I have enjoyed my hikes with these shoes.

I love these shoes. I wear an 8 and they fit perfectly. In fact, I originally ordered an 8.5 and it was too big. The toebox is ample for thick socks if needed. I walk, hike and do light jogging in these shoes. They are lightweight and I could easily do a 6-mile hike in these. Though not technically waterproof, they do a fine job of keeping my feet dry in wet weather. These, by far, are my favorite Merrells. I would love to see some additional color combinations.

ZERO support and zero padding in tongue...extreme minimalist shoe. Thick seams everywhere. Expensive for lack of support and other desirable features

I've loved these so much that I just purchased a second pair!! I'm a hiker, and trail runner, and these shoes grip all terrain. Just the right amount of cushioning, slip resistance in rainy conditions, and still look new after months of outdoor wear. Breathable, and shock absorbing when hopping from rock to rock, or while distance running on pavement. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

I bought four pairs of similar shoes (3 other merrell styles) and selected this one. Have only worn for 2 days, but like so far. I sized up a half so that I could fit an orthotic. These don't have removable footbeds and I need an orthotic. Very lightweight (key for me). My hope is to mostly travel with only one pair of shoes. These will work well for my summer trips to colorado, as I don't need to dress up (even when in vail!) and I don't need waterproof, either. Stay tuned. I'm leaving for CO tomorrow!

This is my second pair of these shoes! My first pair were STOLEN when we were on vacation in the Badlands. These shoes are wonderful! They are comfy and breathable...with amazing flexibility for hiking & good grip. You can hike through water and they are dry fast. Wash like old rags. I wear them SO MUCH. Great with socks for more comfort on feet...as long as you aren’t going hiking in water. ? I didn’t really want White but no way was I wanting black. The color is better than I expected. This weekend they will be tested on slippery rock in San Diego. Can’t wait!

I'm typically 10 but can sometimes be a 9 or 9.5 depending on the brand; went with a 10 in these and they were perfect. While wearing them inside first to make sure they didn't rub or anything - I forgot I had them on. A pleasant surprise since I typically can't wait to take my shoes off. I love that the toe box is wide enough that my toes can wiggle and it doesn't put pressure on my bunions. I have inserts with arch support (flat feet) but decided against inserting them and it worked out great for the hike today. Very light weight, love the mesh top, it kept my feet cool on the hike today. Also I like that while my feet felt secure, these didn't impede the natural movement and therefore I didn't have any arch or toe pain (which can sometimes happen for me in shoes that really stabilize). I also like the "drop" is slight - shoes that have a big drop (I think it's the difference from the heal to the toe) end up changing my gait and hurting my feet. The bottoms are extreeeemely grippy, yay Vibram! I could feel the rocks (not in a bad way) so if you're looking for something super cushy with a lot of support/stabilization, these aren't for you. They're not barefoot/MINI Cooper-feel-the-road level but they're also not pillows/Cadillac, kind of just right. Despite some mud and wet patches, the rubber outside came up high enough that the pale grey fabric didn't get dirty and my feet stayed dry. On the hike today to break them in just in case (which wasn't long, less than 3 miles), I only had one small slip barely worth mentioning, maybe an inch. Wore them 8 hours and my feet felt great. I got the "Vapor" which is a lovely light grey with grey and light greenish blue accents. Exactly the color combination I wanted. For reference, I also love the Brooks Pure Cadence (original version) which are for running - lightweight and minimalist in support/alow for movement but do have a lot of cushion. I'd love to find the same look of these Merrells but with cushion for running. These are my first Merrells and I'm delighted, can't wait to take these out on the muddy hikes in Hawaii!

I love these shoes so much that after wearing out my first pair I bought a second pair. The only downside is that the light gray gets dirty easily. I walk my dog for miles in these shoes every day and they are very comfortable.

I love the look of this shoe and it is very lightweight. I really like the mesh upper on the toe box. I have very narrow feet but the toe box was small on my right foot. I hate to return these because I really like the look.

I’m on my second pair of these shoes. I’ll be real sad if I can’t get them any more. I have sweaty feet and these keep my feet dry even in winter! The mesh keeps rocks out. Dust does get in a bit but it’s not significant. I like that the toe box gives my feet room. They’re light and pack easily. The laces stay as tight or loose as I make them, and they stay tied.

I love these shoes! I use these shoes for hiking with my dog. Lightweight and great traction, so much better than wearing sneakers. I ordered a half-size up and they fit perfectly. Love, love, LOVE the toe box; plenty of room, no sliding.

These shoes will be great for hiking. The sole has amazing grip and they will dry quickly. My husband and I both ordered these (he got the men’s version) and we both had to exchange for a half size smaller. These definitely run a little big. The toe box is wider than I’m used to as well, but I think that’ll be beneficial on long hikes. I love that they’re lighter weight and not bulky like so many hiking shoes.

I really love these. I use them for training at the gym and even some light running. I tend to use sneakers without socks and like to feel close to the ground with my shoes. These are supportive with good arch support and just the right amount of spring. I have a bad back and these have caused no issues at all. My legs feel invigorated. So all is well.

This is my 3rd pair. The first one was purchased at A sports store what is no longer in business. So, went online and found them again. I use them for 45 minutes lunchtime walks and hiking on weekends in the mountains of Colorado. They last well, worn every day. Also, I have very high arches, these shoes have the perfect built in arch support.

These are by far the best fitting and most comfortable shoes right out of the box. I was looking for a trail worthy shoe that I could wear on hikes and on uneven terrain. The vibram sole has good grip but is not as hard as a hiking boot so you can feel the ground beneath you. Important for me because I have balance issues. I feel secure walking in these and my feet don’t get tired.

These are super comfortable for long days walking or hiking, they are very breathable and dry quick if you happen to step in water or get them wet. The overall support and toebox is perfect so you don’t get sore feet or smooshed toes on the trails! Best purchase of hiking shoes I’ve ever made and wish they came in more colors!

These are great and worked perfectly for a hiking and normal wear on my last trip to California. I brought other shoes to wear but ended up wearing this the entire time. Light weight but super comfy and functional shoes. They dry out very quickly. Very happy with this purchase. Shoes don't make my feet look big and even though a light color stayed looking new without cleaning them.

I liked the look and weight of this shoe. However I should have valued the reviews more before I purchased. The toes are angled and that made the shoes uncomfortable. Also, with an orthodic, the fit was tight. There is no removable insole. Next time I will trust the reviews more!

Great looking but the arch was not fitting my foot correctly :(

Love the color and style. However, my big toe hits the front and not much room in the toe box for other toes. I'm ordering a half size up and hoping this helps. Excellent arch support.
