Awesome sandals. Great design. Compared to closed-toe Tevas and Keens, these sandals have a lot fewer seams and pieces, so a lot fewer places to cause a blister. The insole is super-comfortable, not overly contoured. If you need strong arch support, these are not for you. Tevas and Keens look like dad shoes to me. These do not. Maybe I am deluding myself. One caveat: The first pair I received had two big manufacturing flaws. The left shoe had a strap that was barely sewn on, and the right shoe had a big lump on the insole that was uncomfortable and unfixable. The second pair was flawless. No rubbing, no lumps. Inspect them carefully before wearing them outside.

Not as comfortable in comparison to the other pair of shoes I tried. I need these for water wear, getting out of a water craft and then hiking. The Keen's look to have better water drainage from the shoe and were more comfortable to wear.

Perfect in true Merrell fashion! I've been wearing Keen water shoes for the last few years and they finally gave up on me two weekends ago at the river. Started looking online for more and found that Merrell made. Wearing Merrell daily it was a no brainer. Hands down comfort and support over Keen.

Comfortable and tight fitting. you can use the drawstring for a snug fit or leave it loose, allowing the neoprene type material to keep the sandal on. Comfortable enough for all day use. My only complaint is little stones and tings getting inside and being more difficult to remove than other more open designed sandals. But, that is inherent in the design of open shoes; not a flaw.

I am writing this review for my husband. He has never in the 40 years I have known him worn a pair of sandals or shoe like this. I got the women’s version and really liked them so he asked me to get a pair of men’s for him. We both like them for the same reasons - easy on and off, lightweight but protective, dry fast, not too bulky and ugly. We did both get them wet for the first time as a trial this past weekend and they squeak a little when wet but not so old we were embarrassed by it. It’s a great shoe and I like the quality of the Merrell brand. If you have hated this style of shoe and resisted it like my husband, this is the shoe for you to try.

These are Keen killers. I previously wore a pair of Keen sandles that lasted me a decade and are still in good shape. I have nothing but good things to say about my Keens, but I also like Merrell as a brand and wanted to try these out. Super comfortable. Easy to put on. Good grip. Flexible. Hopefully they will last. The minor grips I can come up with are the Unifly logo in the back looks tacky and I think it's going to fall off in no time. There were some injection molding nubs inside the shoe that I had to cut with a pair of nippers. This seems like a fairly major design flaw. I don't know what they were thinking when they put those injection points there. Easy to fix though and I'm not sure most people will notice. Overall the design has a lot of stitching and busy work. I feel like it could use with a revision. Also I'm disappointed with the lack of color selection currently available. I've seen pictures of some of the previously available colors and they were awesome.

Merrill makes great shoes, and this is a great trail, water shoe. I wear them a lot around the house, yard, docks, boat, and into the lake! A very good shoe, perfect size fit, very glad I spent the money. Easy on and off, good tie, good soul.

What a great shoe! I was on the fence between a 10 and 10.5 size. In the end I went with the 10. I think they run true to size, since the shoes I have that are 10.5 don't seem to be spot on. Chaco, Hoku One One, Vans, Naot, those are solid size 10. However, some Vasque and La Sportiva tend to lean towards a 10.5. These are my new canyon and impromptu trail shoes!

This great Merrell vibrant is a rugged, very comfortable sandal perfect for hiking, long walks and everyday wear. This is my second pair after the 1st held up really well for quiet awhile! However, the construction of the new is somewhat different; requiring the need for 1/2 size larger! They only come in medium width while I wish wide were also offered. Really grateful for Zappos quick and easy return and replacement!

I use it every day!! It has a great support for your feet in the beginning of usage. After 3 weeks, the front of the sandal become stretched & lose not allowing me to adjust anymore for the support needed. As you continuing to use it, your feet starts to skids inside, even when it is dry. the best I could get from it was 3 month.

These are my summer shoe, easy on/off, can be worn with or without socks and fit great!

This shoe is light weight but very durable. It also gives a fair amount of protection without being heavy or bulky. it is also easy on easy off. The cinch system works great!
