I ordered for my son two similar sandals Keen Seacamp II and Keen Newport H2 (in two youth sizes: 5 and 6) My son has wide foot. Newport is noticeably wider, compare to Seacamp. He tried both of them and found that he is comfortable in size 5 Newport but had to go size up in Seacamp (size 6). After “test drive” walking around the house for a little bit my son decided toward Seacamp model, because it does not have holes in toe box. He complained that his toes are "getting stuck" in toe box holes in Newport model. He has worn already Seacamp sandals to the summer camp and to NY city all day trip. They are very comfortable, and my son loves them. Last year he had Jambu Piranha sandals and compare to them, he says that Keens Seacamp are way more comfortable.

I'm an adult woman and I order Keen Kids sandals because they fit my wide feet. I have several pairs of Newport H2 that I wear all summer long, but I decided to give Seacamp a try since they look more "airy". I like them! They are not as substantial as the Newport H2, a bit more streamlined and lighter in weight. This is perfect for me because I wanted something less rugged and clunky that was still sturdy and comfortable. They'll never pass for dressy, but they'll do. I expect to get a lot of wear out of these shoes!

Bought these for my 11 year old son's summer camps including a week of rain and hiking at Boyscout camp and lagoon camp. He liked the Seacamp better than the Newport because they were lighter and fit his narrow foot better. They held up well. I would buy them again.

My middle school sons say these are quite comfortable. Arch support is pretty good - for one son with very high arches, I put in an orthopedic insert, and it looks fine. They will live in them all summer - easy on and off, good toe protection, great grip.

These are well made and the closed toe means no stubbing toes and far less tripping then with an open toed shoe. Kids use them on vacation and all summer. The kids typically outgrow them before they wear out which is great. They can be a little difficult to get on and off but it isn't too bad compared to the adult version. They have never rubbed or cause sores on the toes or across the top of the foot - you might think they would just by looking at them. They run wide and maybe a little big which is great in our household but may be too clunky for slimmer feet.

Great shoe, the only sandal my kids will wear. Toe coverage lets them play out side. Comfortable to be worn all day. True to size. Does get stinky by the end of summer though.

This is the second keen seacamp shoe I've purchased for my son (now 6 yrs old). They are much lighter than other keens but provide the same toe protection and all round support. I throw them in the wash when they get too stinky.

My son tends to like his shoes really, really tight and has had poor luck with sandals that are only Velcro closure, so the adjustable bungee helps a lot. However, the Velcro strap on these when pulled really tight, miss the sticky strip entirely. I needed to shorten the strap by doubling it on itself and sewing it. This problem has shown up on other brands, not just Keen. One would think for the price, another couple of inches Velcro would be doable. I'd like to see longer strips of Velcro for all sandals, please. The old buckle-styles worked well because you could just add a couple more holes! Other than that glitch, the sandals feel great, so after trying on more than six different styles, these were keepers. I purchased these in the black and also the blue.
