I wanted these to work. They are so highly rated. The size was right and true to size. I haven’t worn heels in a few years but I’ve been looking for a comfortable pump. These were not it. I made it about 5 minutes walking around my house and I knew I couldn’t make it all day in them.

This is a beautiful and very comfortable shoe. It fits true to size in both width and length and offers an amazing amount of arch support and cushioned footbed for a 3" heel. The shoe feels like you could wear it tirelessly for hours and that's really saying something for a high heel. But sadly, I had to return them because they are not offered in a narrow width. Frankly, it's the most frustrating thing that shoe manufacturers don't grasp the concept that many women have a slim foot and only seem to offer styles in medium and wide widths. Order your regular size and width in this shoe and it should fit you beautifully.

The fit was odd -- I typically have a narrow heel, but the rest of my foot is medium. I had to go to a 8.5 M, typically I am between sizes. The 8.0 M was too narrow -- the 8.0 W was too wide -- went for a 8.5 M, which was long, IMO. Hard to believe someone could run 3 miles in them -- Haven't worn them other than around the house.

Tried to size this shoe three different times. I think I have the right fit now, but I still don’t think it’s a comfortable shoe. Cute style though.

Cushioned enough so they feel "comfy," but very hard to find a right size. 6.5 wide was way too long and i couldn't walk in them as they kept slipping off. But then 6W were too narrow (with still some room at the heel). I wish the sizing was better. They look very chic, and the heel height is good. The pair I got also had a few spots peeled off, which was disappointing.

Another “wider-is-not-the-same-as-longer” situation right here. I need a wider shoe for a miserable bunion but my feet are still pretty little—the 6W was practically falling off.

I so wanted to love this shoe. The Nero Python is pretty and stylish - except it doesn't quite fit my wide foot. I had tried the 6.5W and it was too tight all over. The 7W was a bit tight in the width and too long in the length. There was a noticeable gap at the back of the shoe. It looked like I was a little girl wearing my mother's shoes.

Too small! I ordered size 5, my normal size for pumps, and my feet felt numb after wearing for a couple of hours. Order a half-size up. I purchased a similar Cole Haan pump in size 5 and they fit perfectly.

The shoe itself is beautiful but it’s not a true wide shoe width. I usually wear a size 8D, this shoe is an 8C, and there’s a huge difference! I wear other Rockport brand shoe styles (8D) and they fit perfectly. These just didn’t work for me.

Due to reviews, I ordered a 1/2 size smaller than I normally wear and they are still too large. Rated Overall a 3 and Comfort a 3 because although I'll probably like the padding in the bottom of the shoe and the rubber sole, until I find a pair that fits, I can't give them a true rating.

I loved the pattern and color on these shoes; I also loved the padding in the footbed. However, the sizing was not a good fit. I tried preserving my usual 7.5, as well as a size 7, due to previous reviews.

These are the most comfortable pumps I've ever worn, the footbed padding is incredible! The drawback is that the sizing is WAY off. Normally I'm an 8W, but in these I had to go down to a 7W and will need to break them in a little (7 is a smidge tight while 7.5 was still way too big). The toe box is a little "comfort" looking, but the heel is sexy!

Very nice quality, but the fit was off, which is surprising for this brand. I found the medium very wide, especially in the heel, and it felt a little larger than size 6. The shoe kept sliding off as I walked in it. There is a lot of support and cushioning so it your foot is a little on the wide side, these will likely be comfortable and flattering.

This shoe is beautiful but so uncomfortable, I can only bear to wear them an hour at a time. I read all the reviews that said they were comfy and bought but, I do not find them comfy at all. I thought maybe it's just the pointy toe but, I have since bought some Anne Klein pointy toe pumps that feel good enough to wear all day so, I don't know what's going on with these. The toe box is excruciatingly small and with the patent leather, there is no stretch to be had. Shame because they are pretty!

I usually wear a 9 or 9.5 and have normal feet. I wanted to love these but they were too tight in the toe. I am going to try the next size up.

Purchased these shoes a size smaller in wide width. The toe box was a little tight but the shoes themselves stretched the first time you wore them. Very uncomfortable to walk in.

Ugh, I love and hate these shoes. They are great quality, comfortable, beautiful leather, good heal height for work, perfect amount of pointed toe, and perfect nude color for me. What I hate is that the sizing is all jacked up. At least for the nude patent, just like the description says, they are a full half size too big. Based on the reviews I tried my regular size - 9.5M, and they were much too long. I then ordered 9.0M - just barely too small. My feet are on the wider side so I think if you are a smaller 9.5 the 9.0 might work. I tried so hard to make them work but for this price I can't risk painful shoes. My last resort was the 9.0C but they were too wide all over. I ordered every pair of patent nude pumps on Zappos trying to find the perfect pair and these were it, but the factory really screwed up the sizing...grrrrr. I know this because I also ordered the Rockport Kalia 9.5M which is the exact same shoe but with a smaller heel and they fit perfectly. I guess I have to keep those but the 1.5" heel is too low.

Just bought this shoe in the warm taupe and black. Ordered a half size down due to reviews. I have wide feet and am usually a 5.5 so I ordered the 5C. For a person with a wide foot I think the half size down is correct. At first it felt slightly tight in the toe box, but I can tell that if any larger the heel would slip. I don't like those heel helper thingies as they can get sticky and fold over and for this price the shoe should fit or go back. Another thing is that my feet are wide in the pod but regular size the rest of the foot. I ended up using a shoe stretcher for two nights to widen the shoe box area where it pinched (only the toe cleavage area), and now they fit perfectly. Very comfy, perfect heel height. I will be working on a convention floor in Vegas walking 10 miles a day in these shoes so definitely wanted something comfortable but stylish. I tried the 7to7 shoe and the 5C was too big, so it went back. I implore Rockport to continue to design comfortable shoes in more styles - and platforms are a nice way to get height for the shorter ladies like me, without your foot having a difficult angle, but don't make them wood. Cork or a rubber combo with cork is awesome in a platform. I have several platforms from another designer with this foundation and they rock. One more suggestion. Maybe a little more (thicker) ball cushion? Thanks Rockport!

Gorgeous shoe. The fit is off! Ordered an 8, my size, it was too tight. Returned the 8 for an 8.5... it slid off my heel.

These shoes do not run large! I bought my regular size and the length is fine but the toe box is narrow. The bottom cushioning feels good but that toe box is so uncomfortable, I don't want to even wear them anymore. I made it two hours in them, just enough to prevent me returning them. I'm so disappointed because they are killer cute but...killer painful too. Maybe for people with narrow feet? Wish they had a wide.

I had high hopes for this shoe, but alas, they're not good for me. It's wonderfully padded, especially in the toe box area, but the way it's cut, it hits right at my bunion. They're not very wide at the widest part of the foot. But Zappos is very patient with me in my quest for finding comfortable shoes!

The shoe bed is fantastic, and feels like it would be great. It just didn't fit me, however. I am between sizes (usually an 8 1/2).

Very ugly heel and they hurt around the big toe area.
