Can't go wrong with a patent leather pump! Classic look. This shoe is the most comfortable shoe in the world. I feel like I could run 3 miles in them or even up the steps where Rocky was at one time. I even called Rockport to let them know how great they are. Feet did not hurt all day, felt like I was wearing high heel slippers. Light weight shoe. I read that people were having size issues, I did not find them to run large at all. I wear a 6 1/2 so I ordered a 6 1/2. Fit is perfect. I love the bottom of the shoes as well, not noisy when walking across hard wood floors in the office. I will be ordering a backup pair very soon as this is truly the best shoe I have ever had on my feet. Note: I have hundreds of shoes, my personal problem, I know... Rockport Total Motion just moved to Number 1 on my list.

I can't believe I'm 5-starring a shoe. I have a condition that causes fragile skin and unstable joints. As you can imagine, that complicates the wearing of high heels. This is the first pump I think I have ever owned in my life that doesn't cause crippling friction blisters an hour into wear. For comparison's sake, I also tried the "Jackpot" from Nine West, touted by many as a "comfortable" pump — the pain in those was immediate. The following is what I consider the main differences between this Rockport and the standard fashion pump: 1) Amazing traction. You wouldn't think this is a big deal but walking in the Rockport feels firm and natural whereas several other brands of pumps felt downright slippery. This helps with balance but it also significantly reduces friction by minimizing all those small wobbly foot movements that make your blisters scream. It wasn't something I even noticed before, but it makes a huge difference! 2) The full-grain leather upper feels flexible and creamy, a contrast I can't help but notice after destroying my feet with a pair of stiff-leather Frye pumps a month ago. 3) The interior is lined in an almost foamy knit, rather than the usual glued-on fabric or leather. This goes a loooong way in reducing blisters. Hours of indoor walking later I don't even have marks, which other shoes left within minutes. 4) The heel height is a good compromise between sexy and comfortable. They don't have quite the va-voom of the other pumps I tried, which had about an inch on these, so I don't think I'd recommend them specifically for a special event, but if you're looking for an everyday shoe that can dress up jeans these will take you much further than most. And for what it's worth, I'll be wearing them with my LBD this Friday and think they work fine. I don't want to make it sound like these are in any way unfashionable, because they look amazing, and I actually preferred the shape to some of the other pointy-toes I tried because they lengthened my legs without making my feet look like boats. The only thing I can't comment on is their durability or how the foam will hold up against smell and moisture, but they seem well-made. Highly recommended.

SEXY AND COMFY! I have wide feet and short legs, bad back and a bad knee. It takes a rare pair of shoes to make me look good. And this is it! Before I even tried them on I could see this is very nicely made. The leather felt expensive and the padding and the bottom of the shoe just looks so comfortable. I tried them on and fell in love. No where was my feet pinched, which is rare. This style is so sexy and made my legs look long and slim, I felt fierce wearing them with my pencil skirts. If I have to nitpick, there will be 2 things I wish can improve. 1. Can still see my feet are wide with these (if you look down at your own feet). 2.I did not feel much arch support on these, but that is a quick fix I am usually 6. or 6.5, size 5.5 were perfect!

So I ordered 3 different sizes in this shoe and am still not totally convinced I have the right size. Usually, my foot runs a bit wide for shoes and I'm a size 8.5. I ended up with a size 8 wide in these shoes. I still had to add a heel pad in the back so my heel wouldn't slip out. Granted, these are comfortable shoes, but they are still heels. So yes, they are very comfortable for what they are. I work 10-12 hours a day running around an office and I could wear these all day for sure. The only thing I would note is for whatever reason, the footbed made me feel like my feet were insanely sweaty all day long. I kept having to slip them off at my desk to "air" them out. Very weird. Overall, they serve the purpose I got them for, but they were difficult to size.

I've never been a big fan of pumps, that is - before I found this one! I read all the raving reviews about this pump and it got me curious so I ordered them. After wearing them for a couple of months I must say these are the most comfortable high heel shoes I've ever owed! I've got a flat and narrow foot with a high arch, and I feel like I can wear them for days. I took them on a cruise and I wore flip-flops during the day and these beauties at night and felt fabulous! They're classic and get on with anything. I just got another pair in black (nero python) and feel like the world is my oyster :)

I needed a new pair of black high-healed shoes quickly to attend a funeral. I bought these in an 8 (my size in everything) with no wiggle room on exchanges. My foot fit the shoe, albeit a bit snug. However, about 10 min into the funeral, my feet hurt terribly. By the time I got into my car, I had to take them off. They appear to be well made shoes. Unfortunately, the cut/sizing did not work at all for my feet.

I wear a 6-1/2 and thought I'd start out ordering my regular size. It fits like a glove. As usual, I put in a little gray nonslip pad from Walgreens in the heel area, and perfection!! You notice the difference in this brand immediately. The padding makes it feel almost slipper like. Of course after many hours on your feet it will still get to you, but I can't imagine a high heel dress shoe giving any more comfort. And they look beautiful as well. As a flight attendant, this is a real foot saving find!!

Supremely comfortable shoe. I am a true 8, but the 8 slipped on my heel. A heel insert made the toe box uncomfortable. I will exchange for a 7.5. If you can size this shoe correctly, I think you will love it.

These shoes are gorgeous! I followed suggestion of review to size down. I wish that I would not have. I am always a true 7. I have been my whole adult life. 6½ too small in length. I can tell these shoes will be comfortable once I get the correct size. There is thick cushion on the inside from ball to heel.

I have been on the lookout for a good standard work heel that will match with all of my outfits. I purchased this item along with 4 more black heels to try on and this one was one of the best. The soles are SUPER comfortable. I have flat feet so I need something that will support my arch and ankle and this was a great item for that. My only caveat is that it pinched just a little on the top of my foot where the shoe met right above my toes. I ended up returning this item because I found an even better shoe (Naturalizer - Natalie) that didn't pinch at all. Would have kept both brands, if I had unlimited money (haha) - Definitely would recommend this shoe or the Naturalizer Natalie brand as well.

*Fabulous* shoe - best heel EVER! I have fairly large bunions, hammertoes, and terrible/painful calluses on balls of feet that hurt with anything but a flat (lovely stuff, right?), but I do love wearing heels occasionally when delivering a speech or attending a big meeting... I invested in several very pricey pairs of Stuart Weitzmans pumps that are lower heeled than these and look gorgeous -- but they kill my feet after a few hours of standing. These Rockports are truly ROCK STARS -- I wore them to a nearly full-day conference last week (lots of walking, standing, sitting) and they were amazingly comfortable (from 10:30 a.m. till 4:30 p.m., NO PAIN). It's the design that evenly distributes weight PLUS the really cushy lining at the balls of the feet that made the difference, I am convinced! Will be getting more :) Unlike many 'posters,' size was pretty true -- I'm either a 9.5M or 10M in most dress shoes (10M in Stuart Weitzman for reference) and these in 9.5M were perfect.

Most comfortable heels I ever own. Looks sexy and stylish,even better in person. Now I want them in every color. Running true to size. What else you need to know ;)

I cheered when I put on these shoes! Every since Calvin Klein changed the way they made their work heels (quiet crying) I’ve been fruitlessly seeking a good work heel that is narrow in the heel with a decent toe box. These are the ones, I think! Really comfy on first wear, and they FIT MY NARROW HEEL! nice support inside as well. I cannot wait to wear them to work.

I wear between a 8.5-9. Per other reviews I decided to go with the lower if the two and it was perfect. The cushioning really is pretty remarkable. I wore them all day right out of the box and was mostly fine! At the end of the day my toes had had enough but that’s pretty normal for me even with my long time fav shoes. The toe is a little stubbier than I imagined and I wasn’t sure if I liked the look when I first put them on, but the comfort factor got me over it pretty quick.

First of all I have the worst feet on the planet. I’ve had six surgeries on these bad boys and I’ve never been happy in a pump. I order and return on a fair frequency because of my dilemma but Zappos gets me. I hands down will buy out the entire stock in my size because these are the most comfortable pumps I’ve ever worn in my life. Even with a heel and a pointy toe I’m good. Ladies, gentlemen, whomever you are - buy these. So sleek, so sexy and so comfy. I feel like a million bucks! Thanks Zappos and Rockport! I will add though; I got them in black and nude. The black is easily more comfortable out of the box because the material is softer but the nudes will do just fine over time. Happy happy!

Great shoe, really comfortable. After reading the reviews that it ran large I ordered a half-size down (9.5W) and it was too tight. Exchanging it for a 10W.

I had read reviews that these were the perfect, comfort pump. The pointy toe is too uncomfortable to wear all day. I’m encouraged enough with the support and leather to try some other Rockport pumps, but this pair is going back.

Way too tight to be considered a “wide” width size. I have other Rockport shoes that I absolutely love in the wide size and they fit great, they are flats though. This shoe is very pretty and stylish but it just didn’t work for me.

Very disappointed in this brand. I ordered a 10 Wide and a 10.5 Regular to see which fit best. I put the 10W first. The width was good, but it felt just a little bit too short. Good thing I ordered that 10.5 as a backup....Not!! When I put on the 10.5, I could hardly get my foot inside!! The 10.5 was so much smaller!! When I lined the 10W and 10.5 up heel-to-heel, it was clear that the 10W was longer than the 10.5. (It’s hard to capture in a photo, but I did my best.) At first I thought maybe Zappos but the wrong size shoes in the box, but nope. The lining of the shoes both have the “correct” sizes stamped right in. Such a bummer. Who knows what my actual size in Rockport is. Guess I’m not gonna found out!

I may never wear another brand of heels again. this shoe, y’all, it’s soooo comfortable! I’m a 12 medium, and often find heel brands are too small. This is a perfect fit. The footbed is nicely cushioned, but not too much to make you feel unstable. The heel is just high enough to make me feel sexy, and there’s just the right point to the shoe with some toe cleavage. I am so glad I discovered this heel!

I almost never leave reviews, but I had to for these pumps. I love high end designer shoes, and these pumps masquerade as a high end brand. Only they’re much more comfortable. The toe is perfectly pointed and shows just enough “toe cleavage“ to not look frumpy. The heel is very high for me, but the padded foot bed somehow makes these very comfortable. I wear a true seven in almost every other type of shoe - but I took Zappos advice and ordered 1/2 size smaller than my usual 7. The 6 1/2 fits me perfect. They look like they cost much more than they did. Love these.

Shoes are stylish and pretty, go with anything, wide legged pants or dresses. Therefore, imagine my surprise when they are actually very comfortable! Very comfortable indeed! Suitable for all day wear!

I’m on the verge of a regular width & wide. I ordered both, but when I decided to go with wide, I had to size down 1/2 size. (I’m guessing my foot slide further down). With regular width, it was true to size. Most comfy work heel I’ve ever owned. I now have several pairs!!!

This is a great shoe. Fits like a glove. I normally wear a size 8.5 Wide in brooks running shoes. In this shoe I wore a 7.5 wide. It fits like a glove. It feels fine on my bunions. Happy!

I'm a lobbyist and run around the Capitol all day - sometimes walking up to 3 miles in a work day. These shoes not only hold up for those 8 hours, but my feet still feel great! I'm not a heels person and until these shoes, never wore them on a regular basis. Now I have these in several colors and wear them almost every day!
