Feels awesome on the feet and stylish at the same time! It's a low profile shoe, and SUPER lightweight. So don't expect a lot of cushioning or arch support- it's meant to be that way! And I love it. It's got quite a bit more cushioning than your minimalist running shoes (e.g. KSO Vibram 5 fingers)- but just the right amount for city use. These are super comfortable. In street shoes, I wear a 6.5. Running shoes 7. In my Merrell Vapor Glove 3, I can fit into a size 6.5, but need 7 for running. In these Bernie, I fit perfectly in a size 7. So order a half size UP! PS: The Silver/Grey- hmm, it doesn't match the pictures on Zappos. IN reality it looks more shiny (reflective) and tinsel-y. It feels a bit too sparkly for my taste- might do nice at Xmas, or festive gatherings. (hence the 4/5 stars) I feel a little odd wearing them around town during the day. But having said that, the comfort and overall style of the shoe outweigh this mildshortcoming. I'm sure some of the other colors would've served me better. But I'm keeping them as I want a neutral color, on the light side of the spectrum.

These shoes are totally adorable. Unfortunately, the 41 is a tad too short for me and there's no size 42 available. I am a wide, size 10.5-11 with a narrow heel & high instep. I have lots of trouble finding a good fit in a fun shoe (any shoe for that matter!). This would have been it in a 42. I suggest you try it out! The stretchy material hugs your foot in a good way.

I wear a 6-1/2. I have 5 pair of Bernie Mev and they're all a 7 and fit perfectly. My Mom loved my shoes and wears a size 9. I got her a 10 and they were too tight. The 11 was perfect. I think her feet are sensitive, but you need to go up at least a size!

I love the design and fit of these shoe. The down side is that there is no arch support and the sole is so thin that you feel every stone and bump you walk on. I did keep mine to use as indoor slippers, not outdoor shoes.

I can't tell you how pleasant it is to order something and get what you ordered. Never any surprises except how fast you get your order. How great is that to finally have a company that can really be trusted.

These are fun, funky shoes. They are light and comfortable but the strap is not adjustable and it is much too loose for my foot. Darn!

This is an absolutely comfortable, cushioned new woven kind of shoe-sneaker-walking shoe - I (am in the mid 70s) wear them with or without slim socks, get lots of compliments, and I am walking and walking, so soft and airy! This is a shoe for a healthy foot, that does not need support.

I love these shoes!!! I have bunions on both feet and these shoes can be worn all day, for days, and never cause me discomfort. I have them in at least 5 colors. Highly recommend!!!

If you like low profile shoes - these are FANTASTIC! I typically wear an 8.5 or 9 and I had to get a size 40. At first they felt snug, but that is exactly how they work. I plan on living in these shoes. They work great as flats for work as well as casual. If you no longer wear high heels but want to look stylish - they are so much more in person than on the net.

I normally take a women's size 10.5 to 11 medium width (or wide, depending on the shoe). These fit like a 9.5 to 10 narrow AT THE MOST! On the sizing chart it said that their size 41 was equivalent to our size 11 and a size 42 was equivalent to our size 12! They must be talking about a country other than the USA? I love the style, color and the elastic material of Bernie Mev shoes in general. Unfortunately these pairs of Bernie Mevs will be my last and final pair as a result of the inappropriate sizing.

Super comfy for all day walking, standing, working. What was the old commercial .. "looks like a heel, feels like a sneaker"?? Well. It's not a heel .. at all .. but it is elegant enough to wear to work for business casual with pants, skirt or dress and then WALK long distances back home. I am so bummed. I wanted the black pair so much. The Steve Maddens were a clearance item at Nordstom Rack so I can't find my size ANYWHERE online :-( If you can FIT the Bernie Mev ... I think you will LOVE IT!! Just be advised, it runs MORE than a size TOO SMALL.

I’m sure these are very comfortable shoes when they fit properly. The size runs small and I could not wear them.

The fit was extremely small the shoe is exactly like my Steven of New York but those are true to size I really would appreciate makers of shoes would put more size 12m out. I nmay have large feet but like nice looking and mordern styles.

The size is not true I am a size 12 adult and this shoe fit likea 10 adult. I have this same shoe by Steve Madden and this is the best shoe ever from that company.

Fit and size was true. I was looking for comfortable flats and was exactly as described.

I really like Bernie Mev but need to return this shoe. I got size 9 and usually I am 8.5. Going to try a size 10. Also, if you haven't had Bernie Mevs before, I've noticed It's good to wear some sort of foot covering with them because otherwise after a while they start to smell...

I am a true 8 but I had to size up. I first pair I ordered 38/8 but had to return to get a 39/9. I am on my feet all day so I need something comfortable. The only downfall is, there is not much arch support.

I exchanged for one full size larger than usual. They fit and are still a teensy bit snug.

I have bought same size in exact shoe before…..now seems small. I still have those shoes and fits fine, so it isn’t that my foot got bigger. And this shoe doesn’t come in 1/2 size so can’t order again. A full size up would be too big!

I have had a pair of these bernie mev shoes for years, they still look new, but time to order new. They came and still fit the same as old ones. Love that they slip on and ready to walk out the door in comfort.
