I absolutely love these shoes! They are INSANELY comfortable. If you are between sizes, go for the smaller size, because these need to be a little bit tight in order to stay on your feet (my big toe pushes a little bit into the elastic, but it is completely comfortable). If they are slightly large on you, you will step right out of them. I already had them in navy blue, and I had come to Zappos to order them in both black and light gold. I received the shoes today, and the black ones are right, but instead of the light gold ones Zappos sent me the bronze "Cuddly" Bernie Mev shoe. The shoebox is mislabeled, and I see that a prior customer before me put a pink sticky-note on the box, trying to alert Zappos to the fact that the shoes are mislabeled. Apparently the pink sticky-note was never seen, because these were sent out again, incorrectly. I'll tell you what, though - at first I was upset, but then I realized that I actually really like the bronze "Cuddly" shoes. I would never, ever have chosen them on purpose, but they're actually pretty cute, so I am going to keep them. I will consider it fate's way of telling me to step outside the box and be a little more adventurous with my fashion sense!

While at first glance these shoes look a bit bizarre to me, the comfort is well worth it!! I can never wear flats because I have a narrow heel. These fit like a glove (I wear an 8 or 8 1/2) and in Euro sizing 38.... I have many colors and heels heights...love them!!!

I love these shoes! I have several pair from this company. They look great, are comfortable and the stretch makes them very accommodating for my bunions. The only negative is that each pair I have ordered in different styles from Bernie Mev fit differently. There appears to be no size consistency in the manufacturing. Trying them on before you buy is difficult because I have not seen many in brick and mortar stores that carry the full line from this company. This makes it difficult to order online and get a correct fit, but the free delivery and return that Zappos provides makes it easier to find a correct fit. Thank you Zappos.

My Friend Stole My Shoes! ;) They are THAT GOOD! I bought 2 pairs of these in 2015 and they are still in wonderful shape. -- They did stretch out a bit, so when I ordered my next pairs I ordered a size 39 instead of 40. Wrong decision. While the new ones are just a little tight, I know they will stretch out a bit. I typically buy shoes in size 9 to accommodate my bunions. With a E shoe I can wear an 8.5. The Bernie Mev is able to comfortably accommodate my bunion without buying a larger size. And they look smart on my feet. This shoe is durable. I bought my first 2 pairs for a trip to Central America. While there, I was walking on a lawn after a heavy rain and ended up walking through some pretty deep puddles. I worried that they would die horribly. NO WORRIES! Rinse. Dry. Good as new! IMAGE is of the Bernie Mevs I have had since April, 2015. They are still in very good condition even with years of steady use (April through September). I am now up to 5 pairs of these wonderful shoes. I dread Winter when I will have to put them away until Spring. I'd give these Mernie Mevs 20 stars if there were such a thing. And I would give Zappos 20 stars for unbelievably wonderful customer service.

These are my all time fav's of any shoe I have worn. The mesh top is incredible forgiving, (I have a big toe problem so most of my shoes have to have a large toe box). These shoes are the exception. The mesh is so soft I have no problem. They are summer shoes however. I bought 6 pairs of these, returned 2 because that was just too decadent. It did give me an opportunity to try on 6 different pairs. They were all Catwalks, but they did fit a little differently. Please don't give up, order a different color, or possibly just a different pair of the same color. They may be a bit different. I do have one small concern. The mesh is so forgiving, I am wondering if my big toe may punch through the top. Even if it does these are so comfy I would be OK with just ordering another pair.

Usually I wear a 38, however the catwalk has a short footbed. My toes were pushing the front of the shoe. I tried a 39 and it is very comfortable.

A woman walked into work one day with these shoes on and I flipped. How cute were they! So we chatted a bit, she gave me the website and now people are commenting on my shoes! They are adorably cute, and very comfortable. Not to size, however. I got one size smaller! And they are a little slippery on the foot due to their material. But honestly, I love them!

Very comfortable shoe. This runs in the Euro sizes and in Dansko I take a 39, however the 39 too small. I ordered the 40 and that too is a snug fit in this style. However I have another pair of Mev's and the 39 is perfect.

Perfect fit for a size 10 (ordered a 40). The most comfortable shoes I own. I bought these as I have a foot injury and needed a shoe that was comfortable, cushioned, and flexible.

With a bunion, I’m always searching for a cute shoe that camouflages the bunion, yet is soft enough to stretch, and lightweight for travel, and will look good with shorts, slacks and skirts. The “unicorn” shoe, right? Bernie Mev “Catwalk” pretty much fits the bill....with one small exception. Trying to find the right size is exasperation central!! They don’t come in half sizes. I normally wear an 8-1/2 or 9....ordered both initially, but way too short. Ok, so size 10 (gasp!) here we come.....and my big toe is right there crammed up at the front. Seriously, Bernie?? Get your sizing in synch with the rest of the shoe world (and make half sizes!) and I promise to be a faithful acolyte.

I wanted to love these shoes. A woman overheard me asking about a good walking shoe for travel and she said "Go find some Bernie Men shoes. I just just got back from London and I wore mine for two weeks and never was in pain." So eventually I got around to ordering these. When they arrived, I gleefully got them out and slipped them on. I'm a size 9 1/2 in some shoes, these were a 10 and my big toe was pressing against the fabric. I walked around-- zero arch support. None. I may as well have been in socks. So my hunt for a good, simple shoe, great for walking, with GREAT arch support, continues.

Love these shoes! So comfy - like wearing a slipper. Always get a ton of comments - everyone loves them! Fun and comfy! What more could you want?

Love, love, love these shoes! Just returned from a 7 day trip to NY, I packed 3 pairs of shoes and these were the only ones I wore. They are like slippers! I wear a size 9 and ordered these in a 39.

Finally a ballet flat I can wear. I wear an 8W and the 38 fits perfectly. The stretchy upper keeps the shoe snug on my foot without rubbing. Love them!

I ordered these shoes in 3 different colors and I love them— but the gray/multicolored pair is defective. The heels are pushed down and the insoles are pushed up. They aren’t wearable. I want to return them but don’t want to be held responsible for the way they were upon arrival. It seems I can’t attach a photo to the customer service chat box and they can’t open a photo via the customer service email. The phone number isn’t presently connected, so I’m hoping that attaching a photo here will help!!

Third time is a charm. I tried size 38,39, and 40. Guide said 40 was equivalent to a size 10 which worked for me but I am usually an 81/2 or 9.

I normally wear an 8.5 M/39, occasionally a 9 M. I followed the advice to size up to 10/40, but they are still much too short. No 11/41 here in any kind of black color, so had to return them and look elsewhere. These are soft, comfy and very nice looking -- to dress up or dress down. But the sizing is way off.

LOVE LOVE LOVE my Bernie Mev Catwalk shoes... They are perfect fit, super comfortable and stylish little flat that works with dress or casual.. Do a LOT of walking in my business and they are pretty well everyday shoe. If not barefoot or wearing comfortable flip-flop, then wearing Bernie Mev´s... Also travel A LOT with our business and these are my absolute "go to" travel shoes.. Had business woman in line at airport ask where she could get a pair.. while waiting in line, she went online and bought a pair.. :-) I own black/black velvet, jeans blue, pewter, bronze, black shimmer. Have been purchasing Bernie Mev-Catwalk style for several years and will continue as long as they are being made...

Love these, so comfy and stylish. However, I wear a 7.5 and ordered the size 38 (Zappos recommended size for this shoe for me) and it was too small. I ordered the next size up and now they fit very nicely.

I love my Bernie Mevs - all 5 pairs! That said, getting the right size can be challenging. What I do now, is order two sizes just to compare. All but one pair of mine are a size 39 (I wear an 8.5). For one pair, I ended up with a size 40 to which I added a heel pad in one of the shoes. Thank goodness for Zappos - you can keep ordering and returning until you get the right fit!

Just received my shoes, and I love them! I normally wear an 8 1/2 and ordered the 39 (9) based on other reviews. They fit perfectly. I am a teacher and on my feet all the time, so I need shoes with support. These feel great; I am looking forward to wearing them tomorrow.

I ordered these in pewter; they are shiny but not over the top for daily wear. I wear an 8-8.5 so ordered the 39. Glad I did since they fit perfectly. They are stretchy but would have been too short in a 38 which is what I wear in Dansko. They are just what I wanted for work to wear with slacks....they would be adorable with jeans too. Going to get other colors in these for sure.
