Needed a book bag for my 8 year old daughter. She wanted this bag so I got it. It is a great bag, lots of space and very cool style. A must get.

My daughter asked for this bag for school and I thought it was a little pricey. However, for the price the bag is actually decent in size, quality and very stylish. She loves it and I feel good that I got a great bag for the price.

They are great! Material is good and they have a lot of space for books. My niece and daughter love it.

The most fun backpack!!! I gave this to my 7 year old for Christmas because she asked for a "cool backpack!" She is the hit of the school! It screams fun! It did come with a defective zipper and I called Zappos and their customer service is the BEST! Another one is being shipped and we hope it works because she adores this backpack! Perfect size for Elementary aged children! Colorful and great fabric! Should last a long time!

What can I say? This backpack is amazing! Zappos is even more amazing! I purchased this pack for my 1st grader and man, was it a big hit! I actually use it when we go on outings because let's face it, it's cool enough for adults too! We always gets compliments on it. It is very high quality which is why I opted to spend the extra money on the real deal versus the cheap knock-offs I've seen on other websites. So I was surprised when the zipper broke after a few months of use. I am certain this was a fluke and not a reflection of the manufacturing. I wasn't sure if Zappos would exchange it but I figured it was worth a shot. After one quick email to customer service, I received a very nice email back, a return label for the current back pack, and a new one had already been shipped out! This kind of customer service is what makes me a loyal customer anywhere! Thanks for great quality products, excellent prices, and the best customer service around!

I love this bag! I'm 23 and I bought this for myself. Love taking this to the airport. So fun, plenty of room.

This bookbag is worth every penny! It is extremely cool! Definitely a conversation piece, but more importantly sturdy! It can hold up to 3 binders at a time or a large binder and gym sneakers. It even has an inner flap to carry a laptop! I bought this bag for my 5th grade daughter, but I would absolutely carry it myself.

My daughter is entering the second grade and loves unique things. I saw this and knew that she would love it. And I was right. She wore it around the house for at least an hour! It is really well made and I expect it to last possibly to next year. It is very roomy but not too big for a seven year old to handle. I saw it on another site for more money and a ship date that would have it to us after school started. Zappos, of course, had it to us the very next day! I love Zappos!

I purchased the Spiketus Rex backpack for my son in an earlier version back in 2010. This one may not be identical, but I don't think MadPax has changed very much on the design. Besides the cool look (son loves it) that seems to frequently prompt people to ask where we got it - the number one thing I can speak quite happily about is the quality. Amazing!! He's used this backpack exclusively from Grades 1 through 4. And finally at the end of the FOURTH year of hard use, a seam around the main zipper gave out. I've never seen a kids backpack last that long. Kudos on the quality product MadPax - I'm back to get another one. :)

This is very cute, but does not fit anything in it if you plan on using it for school anyway. My 5th grader tried using it for school and was only able to fit 1 binder in it and no books.
