I have been a lifetime Nike customer, but this will be the last pair of Nike's I ever purchase. After a SINGLE use on a run, the fronts of the shoes were wearing off, and the grey paint on the top was chipping and unsightly. I expect better quality from an $80 pair of shoes. At this rate, these shoes won't last a month. I followed the return process immediately-- paying the cost to ship them out of pocket. Nike promptly returned them, quoting "normal wear and tear". This is after a single use! How can this be normal? Now that I am stuck with these shoes, I can truly rate them as a terrible purchase. The paint has completely chipped off in the front, and I have rolled my ankle 3 times in the past 2 weeks wearing these-- a problem I have never had before. Speaks to the support these shoes provide.

I bought the Nike Flex 2015 RUN primarily as an everyday footwear and secondary as running sneakers (5Ks). To start off, the grey-red color goes well with a wide range of attire - something a lot of people compliment me on. It is a neutral color that is not too flashy but also very stylish. One of my biggest gripes with Nike sneakers is that they are overly ostentatious in terms of aesthetics. If you are someone that values simplicity and non-jarring colors, then these sneakers might be for you. By far, these are among the most comfortable sneakers that I have ever worn. They are lightweight and so at times, it feels as if you are not wearing anything at all. If sized correctly, they fit snugly as if you are enveloping your foot inside a velvety cushion of air. My old Nike 2013s had slightly stiff soles but the 2015s improve on this significantly. The soles immediately conforms to the contours of your foot allowing you to step with ease. As a runner, this is very important because footwear without proper sole padding negatively affects your performance. As a result, I am able to run more consistently with a wider range of motion, not having to worry so much about my form and technique. Other things you should know: The material is a lightweight mesh that allows for ultimate breathability. If you are someone with athlete's feet, these sneakers mitigate that significantly. The craftsmanship is also well done--one thing that Nike does well. The stitchings, rubber placement and Phylon midsoles are crafted for durability and quality. These will last me at least a couple of years. Whether or not you are an avid runner, I highly recommend these sneakers for the quality, durability and lightweight comfort.

Horrible fit! My 2013 Flex fit like comfortable moccasins right out of the box. These make my feet feel like they are in a vise! Way too tight in the front. Are these extra narrow?

I am a senior who walks 4 miles per day at a good clip on a treadmill and these shoes are comfortable and supportive for that purpose. I would wear them for casual use as well. Consistent with my experience with Nike, I ultimately needed a half size larger than I usually wear. Zappos accommodated the size exchange with ease and efficiency.

I used this shoe as my go-to running shoe and cross-trainer. Performed well for all activities I used it for: long runs, calisthenics workouts, basketball, tennis, racquetball, etc. The foam soles are comfortable, flexible, and surprisingly stable. Nike did well engineering this material. It works well across the board. Durability is a different story, though. While the upper remained intact the whole time I had them (about a year), the tread began to gradually deteriorate at a certain point. But, hey, they held up well enough for close to a year’s time, so not much to complain about there, either.

Great looking shoe. I bought these for everyday wear,(not running), so I can't comment on functionality for running, but overall very comfortable with more cushioning than I expected. As with all Nike shoes I had to buy a 1/2 size larger to get the right fit.

I think I may be making the switch from Asics to Nike after wearing these shoes. They looks great, feel light, and not bulky some other runnings shoes. I wear a 10 dress shoe, but 10.5 in this shoe to make room for foot spread while running.

My husband adores these shoes - this is the fourth pair he's bought (in various colors, not because they wear out quickly or anything like that). Very lightweight and breathable. It's also nice to find some running shoes without white or neon soles - makes them wearable in more situations.

I love these shoes! I bought them ahead of a 10-day vacation which included 2 full days at Walt Disney World and then 7 days on a Disney cruise. So w/o a break-in, they saw 2 long days of walking the parks, miles of running around the jogging deck on the cruise ship, and miles of walking during port stops. I have no arch, so I wear orthotics. That did require pulling out the included foam insert, but they are still very comfortable and I can wear them all day w/o that painful need to take them off at night. They look solid wearing shorts and no-show socks and they look great with jeans too. These shoes breathe really well, so even when the rest of me is drenched in sweat after a run, my feet are breathing well. Highly recommended.

I ordered them and received them quickly. Just a note, the color is more charcoal than black which we thought they were. They are comfortable and light.

These shoes are great, but I had to go one size higher than the previous Flex 2012s that I had. For some reason, this 2015 model Flex felt too tight for me around the width. I had to exchange the size 9 U.S. For size 9½ Thanks to Zappos' exchange program! Previous comments about this shoe raised concerns about getting little pebbles stuck in the grooves. This does on occasion happen, but is not a big issue. This is a great running shoe for trails as well as pavement. I used my 2012 model for the Boston Marathon as well as a marathon held on dirt trails. I ordered my 2015 model for a marathon in December 2015. I use Hokas for my long training runs and recovery runs. Using the 2015 Flex for my pace (fast) runs and runs on the treadmill. I plan to use them for the marathon itself. Very comfortable shoe and pretty durable. I used Nike Frees for awhile. They were too soft for me for long runs. I much prefer the Flex over the Free.

The most light and comfortable running shoe I've ever owned! This is surely Nike's best! And last but not least Zappos is number one in customer service!

These shoes showed up earlier than expected which was a great surprise. Compared the quality of shoe to similar types and it hands down beat them in quality. I give this site a five for timeliness and quality.

After a bad experience with another Internet athletic shoe provider (i.e. missed delivery date), I found Zappos who provided delivery in less than 24 hours and no delivery charges. Future purchases will start with Zappos.
I'd also recommend:
Stay with your prior good product experience.
