These boots are lovely. I purchased them as an alternative rain boot to tall wellies, which often feel like overkill unless it's a downpour. I have narrow, flat feet and no issues getting them on. They run true to size for me. I'm a 7 in Converse, 8.5 in running shoes, and 7.5 in these. One thing I want to point out is that the versions with matte rubber (there's a navy and a brown) are lined in Thinsulate, while the versions with shiny rubber are not. I ordered the matte navy because I preferred the look, but had to exchange because I want to wear them year-round. The Thinsulate version was VERY warm and would be a great option for winter wear. In person, I found that the shiny version was less shiny than it appears on the screen, so I'm very happy with the look. These are a nice between-height boot for those who find the 6" LL Bean boots too short and the 8" LL Bean boots too tall.

I got an older version of this boot 3 to 4 years ago and they were phenomenal. I wore them through 2 winters of tough Chicago weather and they stood up remarkably against the snow and cold. This year I decided to get a new pair of them after loving the last pair so much. They have changed the design somewhat since I last bought them but this time not a fan. The zipper makes it so you cannot adjust the fit of the boots very much. Snow gets in over the edges due to the loose opening around the ankle. After one time wearing them in a couple inches they were full of snow. Despite getting the same size as last time, I am not able to wear thicker socks with these. I would not buy this boot again.

Don't buy these shoes.
Don't buy these shoes if you want a cute boot to wear in the rain. These shoes are kind of attractive, but not as cute as in the photograph. They still look bulky in person and look like more of a utility shoe than a fashion shoe -- you can get cuter wellies for $30.
Don't buy these shoes if you want to walk in the rain. First of all, the shoe lace will not stay tied so if you want to tighten the top part of the boot -- forget about it. These shoes also cause blisters. I wore them two days for a total of a 5 miles of walking and had blisters on the sides of my feet. I have not gotten blisters from shoes in years and do not have especially wide feet! It was very unfortunate that I could not tell they would cause blisters when I tried them and now cannot return them. When you try them you might think they are somewhat comfortable because there is a lot of space in the shoe, but that actually causes your foot to move more and cause friction that causes blisters.

Love Sperry! I typically wear a 7 1/2 - 8 in shoes. Closer to a 7 1/2. I own 2 pairs of the Sperry Saltwater boots. My gray ones are a size 6 and my navy/brown ones are a 7. So I have to say, they run big!

I was surprised by how comfortable these are. I've had L.L. Bean boots for 20 years and decided to replace them this year. I ordered a new pair of bean boots and a pair of the sperrys to see which I liked the best. The sperrys won, hands down. They are easier to put on, significantly more comfortable, and they have a more updated look. I sent the bean boots back and even ordered a pair of sperrys for my daughter.

These shoes are great! Fit and comfort was perfect for me. However, I was disappointed when I opened the box and realized that Zappos had sent me a returned (and used) pair. Now the used part didn't bother so much as compared to the dirt on the bottom of the shoes! It was obvious someone didn't bother to check to bottom of the shoes and cleaned it first before sending the pair off to another customer.

I've been searching for lighter-weight winter boots and boots for an upcoming trip with potentially slushy/wet city walking. These are perfect for both. They are light enough that I can easily drive with them (I already have a lead footamd don't need extra weight on tje gas pedal). I wear a size 8 sneaker so I got the same in this boot which is also perfect. They fit with wool socks. I dont see these boots as good for shoveling or winter sports as they are too short but they are lovely for commuting and running errands--no clunky boots dragging up+down the grocery aisles! I'll likely add an insole for my upcoming walking trip through Boston for added support but otherwise I'm so very pleased with these boots.

Not good for temperatures below freezing. I found the boots very comfortable, and they are great for rainy days or melting snow. However, they are not lined for warmth, and the rubber gets very cold quickly. I wore them when the temperature was in the 30s and was fine. I tried to wear them with thick wool socks when the temperature was 10 degrees, and my feet were extremely cold within 15 minutes. They run a little narrow, which is true for all Sperry top-sider shoes I've owned. They are true to size in length.

I normally wear a size 6 in sneakers but after reading the reviews, I ordered a 5.5 instead. The fit was perfect. I wear these shoes in rainy weather and to our farm when I’m going to be out in the dirt and mud. They are very versatile and are great quality shoes!

Wow! I love these boots...like I have never loved waterproof boots before! They are warm and adorable and comfy but seem too narrow for my post op feet! I am so hoping they become available in 11W for comfort. I have emailed and am awaiting the usual prompt response. Unless you are ordering the last pair in 11W, I strongly suggest you order these adorable boots!

These shoes are great! I bought the green and dark brown pair. You don’t have to tie the laces and they have a side zipper. I like these boots because they are casual but I don’t have to worry about messing them up if I’m outside playing with the dogs. Once mine wear out, I’ll probably purchase a new pair. I have had mine for about 2 years and they’re still pretty cushy.

These feel and look sort of cheap. It might be because of the color (black), but they just don't feel as nice or warm as some other boots for the price.

I usually wear a 7.5-8 in most brands, and the 7.5 (as recommended by Zappos) fits perfectly! I ordered the Tan/Red version of this shoe, and the red is a very bright, tomato-ey color (I like it, but not everyone's cup of tea). Very comfortable shoe, effective waterproofing and pretty lightweight. My only complaint about this shoe is that it squeaks loudly when I walk, but I haven't had them very long and it's possible this will go away over time.

Fits true to size. If u want it to fit like a glove with super thin socks then size down, if you want to wear normal to medium socks then buy your actual size, or if u want to wear thick socks then size up. SO COMFY, and warm. Great for fall or early spring & rain. Not great for snow and frigid temps?.

Okay so before I ordered I read the reviews and most people said to get a size smaller than what you usually wear because they run small but that’s not completely true for everyone. I ordered a size 8 1/2 when I usually wear an 8 but sometimes an 8 1/2 depending on the shoe and they are just a bit larger than I’d like them to be. They feel kind of loose but overall I’ll continue to wear them because it’s not too much a size difference but next time I’ll go with my true size. If you wear thick socks it helps.

I am SO disappointed! I have a very hard to fit foot. I am a true 10.5 wide and they fit perfectly BUT the zipper wasn't far down enough to get my foot into easily enough to keep them. It was a battle and I was afraid I would end up damaging the boots with the continued struggle to get my big feet into them. Once they were on I LOVED them but I just can't see that battle every time I wanted to wear them especially if my arthritis is bothering me. Sadly I will be returning them.

These are just the boots I was looking for. They are not for shoveling snow (hit me just above the ankle) or hiking (they are pretty loose... I don't really need to unzip them to get in or out). They are GREAT for everyday use in melty snow or spring showers. They are light and super comfortable. I went a half size smaller than my running shoes and they are a little loose, but comfortable enough to wear thicker socks in the winter or thinner socks... not sure if they will be too hot for summer? They are great quality, but my only concern is that my zippers it the inside of each boot and mark the leather... not sure if there is a fix here outside of just being a little more careful?

Great shoes. Purchased two pair of short duck boots and this pair won out, hands-down. They were comfortable from the start. I love that I do not have to lace them up but rather simply pull them on and off which Will be perfect when setting up the RV in rain or shine.

I am normally a size 6.5 and ordered 6.5, however it was too big even when wearing with thick socks. I returned and ordered a size 6 which fits way better. This is perfect for going on errands when it’s raining instead of wearing my bulky Hunter rain boots. These I can just slip on and go. Very cute with jeans or leggings. I suggest sizing down a half size.

I normally wear a ladies size 6 or 6.5 and initially tried these in kids sizes 4 and 5. Unfortunately, the size 4 was too small and the 5 was too big. It was worth a shot in order to save $30 for the same style and quality.
I usually order more than 1 size of any shoe or boot because my feet are shaped weird - they're sort of "duck-shaped"; they're wide across the toes with very skinny heels and skinny ankles - so I just like to compare how a shoe or boot fits in different sizes. I ordered these in ladies sizes 5.5 and 6.
The size 6 felt large all over - more like a size 7 - but the size 5.5 fit nicely - even with thick socks. So, in my opinion, these felt at least a half size larger - more like a size 6 or 6.5 - which happens to be what I wear.
I would have loved to save money by purchasing these in a kids size, but the correct fit is worth the price difference for me.

These boots don't disappoint!! They're super cute, fit true to size, just the right ankle coverage, are great for inclement weather, complete with a lining - comfy and warm enough. They're not for 5+ inches of snow and 15 degree temps, but great for navigating through a couple of inches, slushy next day half plowed leftovers, or rain.

I love these booties! They are the perfect shoe for the fall and spring in the Midwest! I've even worn them in the winter during a few snowfalls and they have kept my feet warm and dry! They run true to size as well.

I love these boots! They are true to size, so when I originally ordered I ordered a size up and had to return them for the size 6. They are adorable and functional. What's not to love?
