There is a *lot* of variation in how these fit from one pair to the next. I would say if you try a pair on and don't like how it fits, just get another identical one and it may fit completely differently. This particular pair that I tried on had a 34" inseam, whereas other Malia in the same size had a 32" inseam. Also this pair was super tight in the thighs, whereas another pair was just fine. In general, I love the Jag pull-on jeans, as they are very comfortable around the waist and slimming under a top.

These jeans are comfortable, and fit well (I'm in-between a 14 and 16, and these seem to fit right). I like the dark color, and the length is just below the ankle (which I like).

I wear 6 long in Eddie Bauer, 4 tall in J.Jill, and 2/33" in Jag, so size down. Some of the 33" jeans are really only 32". And I have no tushy, so they sag a little just below the butt cheeks. I deal with all that though, because these jeans are so comfy and they look good. No metal button-type things to dig into my tummy or belly button. I just buy several at a time and keep the ones that work, thanks to Zappos.

I have 3 pairs of this style of Jag Malia jean in several colors and love the fit, but I was a bit disappointed in the Dark Shadow because of the thread color in the stitching. I thought I would write a review to inform others. This particular color of jean has orange stitching (reminds me of the Levi 501s I wore in the '80s). Most of my other Jag Jeans have taupe/gray neutral color thread or a dark navy thread for the darker denims. I put them on and wore them before I realized what it was that I didn't like about them so I'm stuck, but if I had it to do over again I would have ordered a second pair of the Blue Shadow or After Midnight instead.

These jeans are awesome! I am 5'8, I typically wear size 8, sometimes 10, my waist, hips, and butt aren't small...maybe slightly larger than average, and I love size 6 in these jeans. I definitely have to "shimmy" them over my hips the first few times, but it's well worth it...once they're on, NO MUFFIN TOP! And I'm not constantly having to pull them up all day! The waist band stretches a little, but there's a seam that doesn't really stretch and that prevents them from falling down. Brilliant! Nice size back pockets so your butt doesn't look bigger. "Slim" is nice, smaller than straight leg but not skinny. Dark shadow is a very dark blue, but not blue-black, still denim color. Good for every day or going out. Buy them!

For me, 5’4”/5’3” 110 lbs, the Malia is a better fit than the Peri.

These jeans fit perfect and are just what I was looking for. I shopped locally and could not find these anywhere. Zappos came through again.

I love these jeans. They give me a slim outline with no muffin top and no odd bumps that ordinary jeans have such as a button or belt loop bump under tight shirts.

I love these jeans. They fit well and the styling is nice. I like the fact that there is not a zipper and snap to create puckers and bulges at the waistline.

Love these pants! Very comfortable. I would buy them again and again. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Also, love Zappos experience. They were very professional and timely. Great experience all the way around.

These pants shipped with no labels on them at all, which makes me wonder how used they are. Yuck. They fit well and have apparently been discontinued so I'm keeping them, but a little disappointed in the service there. Fit wise, I'm 5'1" but high-waisted with a short torso and these hit me in a good spot almost at my natural waist. They roll down a tiny bit when I sit down, but honestly none of my pants fit all that well when I sit so I'll deal with it. The length is perfect - hope they don't shrink (but maybe the previous owner already washed them, hah). This is my first pair of non-maternity pull-on jeans and I wish the waist had some elastic because they're kind of hard to get on, although they fit fine once I manage to get them past my hips. I get that elastic doesn't look great, but it's not like I'm tucking shirts into these!

I am dumfounded by these jeans. I'm wearing size 10 right now in several brands so I can understand why the 8's didn't fit even though some said to order down a size. When the 10's barely made it past my hips, though, I was sad. I love the color Dark Shadow, I love the material and I've never had problems being hippy. but I am with Jag pull-ons. So you know, I am 5'5" and 165 and short-waisted. I can get the pants up with a shimmy, but I'm not doing that in reverse in a public restroom. The 8's felt great in the legs and the 10's were baggy.

I love Jag pull on jeans. These fit as always in the waist. However, they are described as slim, but the leg at the ankle was too baggy for my taste.
