Beautiful boots but they hit my instep. Sending back. Too narrow.

I bought these boots (elsewhere) this fall. Everywhere I wear them, I get compliments. I bought the (discontinued) forest color. They are beautiful, and work with more outfits than I'd expected (though mostly jeans). I have tricky feet, and find they work best for me with a superfeet insole. I also bought a 39 instead of my usual 38 to allow for the insole and my high arches.

Beautiful boot. Great color ("soft" spicy red/cordovan). The embroidery is brown. I have size 11 feet. I ordered the 42. The length was good. The width was perfect on one foot and a bit snug on the other (my slightly bigger foot - I will wear very thin socks.) The box indicated 11-11 1/2 - there is no way an 11 1/2 foot could fit this boot. I like how they look on my feet (some boots make my feet look like two aircraft carriers - not these - yay!). They are a lot of money but I am kind of thinking about buying the black pair too.

These are beautiful shoes. They are comfortable inside. Really cute. My feet are narrow and especially hard to fit. My heel kept slipping up in a way that I knew would annoy me over time, so I had to return them. Boohoo!

I love the style of this boot and hoped that it would work for me. The boot was a little close-fitting, but would soften. The big problem for me was that the arch was not in right place (too far back). My heart is broken!

I''m not really a boots-wearing person, although I love the look of boots. (I wear very comfy shoes -- Birkenstocks, Keen "water sandals", & Springstep clogs). But I saw these boots & thought they were gorgeous & ordered them. They're just as beautiful in person as on the internet; so far they seem pretty comfortable (for someone who's not used to wearing boots, especially.) Seemed like in the reviews everyone said they ran small & narrow; I usually wear an 8.5 (or European size 38) so I ordered 1/2 size up -- a 9. My feet may be a tad wide-ish, altho I've never worn a wide shoe, & the size feels right. The leather & the embroidery are just beautiful. To me, the heel feels high, although they're low-heeled boots; I'm just not used to any heel. I think i will get used to them. I live in Florida & am still in shorts in November, but am looking forward to cooler weather so I can wear them with jeans. They will look cute with leggings too. They were an investment but I'm glad I bought them; they seem very well-made & like they'll last for years. I bought the spice red -- great color!

I bought these boots in black and they felt tightish, I was worried I'd made a mistake. But I loved the look and wore them anyway... and after a couple of weeks, wearing them a few hours at a time, they stretched out to perfection, have molded to my feet and are incredibly comfortable for all day long hard wear. I get many compliments and loved them so much I went back and got a second pair just to be sure I'd never be without them. Highly recommended!

I fell in love with these just looking at the picture of them. So I ordered a pair. I normally wear a size 8 and sometimes go up to 8.5 because I have wide feet. I ordered the 39 and was so disappointed they did not fit. I had to return them but I am thinking about trying a size 40.

I absolutely love these boots. I wear them all the time for work and play. I am back to buy another pair.

These boots are beautiful and well-made. I would love them but they are too short and too narrow, though I ordered my usual size. I find they run small and narrow so must return them.

I had high hopes for these cuties, but they were super tight-squeeze your foot in tight on me. I wear a 10.5 M, since I usually can't find that, I get an 11M and they fit fine. These were 42 (11-11.5 US) and I had to stand up to push my foot in and there was a shortness and tightness all over with a thin sock. I'd say they were at least a full size smaller, felt like a 9.5-10 on me. I also ordered the pewter, thinking it was a distressed grey...it is metallic pewter, so be aware if you're thinking of that color choice. Shiny, metallic, kind of weird. Sending them right back...sorry to be a downer. Normally I've heard raves about the brand!

Beautiful boot! However, the boot is way too small. Very disappointed because I wear size 11 and Taos does not make a women's 12. Sadly, I had to send back.
