Let me start by saying that the Michael Kors medium Selma is my all time favorite handbag. I normally buy my MK at department stores, but when the chili color was no longer available anywhere else, I turned to Zappos. I received my bag only 4 days after placing my order, which was awesome! BUT upon opening the box, saw that my bag was just thrown in with zero protective packaging. The front, back and more importantly, the winged sides of the bag were badly wrinkled. Not really wanting to deal with a return, I took a hair dryer to the bag and gently smoothed out most of the dents. For paying full price, I am not thrilled about the condition my bag arrived in.

I love this (Medium) size Michael Kors Selma Satchel. I first saw this style purse in the store in the Large size. I'm petite, so the Large looked like I was carrying a suitcase! I'm so happy that Michael Kors made the Medium size. I own 2 of these: 1 Navy & 1 Dark Dune. The outer dimensions make it look like a Medium size, due to this being a very structured style. But I would have to say that the inner dimensions of the purse make it feel like a smaller size purse. I don't carry a ton of items anyways, so this doesn't matter to me. This purse can fit my full size wallet, small cosmetic case, sunglasses, phone, & keys no problem. If you carry a lot more than that, I don't think you will be happy with this size purse. If you like small-medium, structured purses that don't lose their shape, I would highly recommend this style to you. I think it looks best carried by hand (very classy). But I appreciate the shoulder strap for times when my hands are full. Also, the saffiano leather seems very durable. I love the metal feet on the bottom too, keeps the purse clean when set down. If I could afford it, I'd buy one in every color!

Seriously great bag. I gave it a 3 stars for comfort, b/c it's sometimes awkward and bulky. But it's a structured bag that stands up on it's own. Which is also what I love about it!

Absolutely beautiful handbag. I am so happy with my purchase. It was smaller just as the previous review indicated but I don't mind at all. It's the perfect cute small size. The quality is perfect and it's a very classy bag. I love my bag. the pink is just perfection.

I LOVE pretty much ALL of Michael Kors styles of handbags and have been purchasing them for years. However, I have found the workmanship to be surprisingly poor. After one year (of course after when you can no longer return them), they always fall apart. On this one, the stitching on the long strap and around the bottom of the bag started hanging off. I took it to a repair shop, and they said there was nothing they could do to fix the fraying. They also commented that they see M.K. handbags coming in for repairs quite often. On antoher one similar to this that I purchased a couple years ago, the zipper got caught on the end every time you opened the bag; turns out if was defectively sewn--never got around to doing anything about it until about 14 months later (busy life) and Michael Kors refused to help me, (I even took it to a Michael Kors store) to show them that it wasn't due to wear and tear, it was a defect. Too bad, they said..outside return period. The style of his bags makes me keep purchasing them, as they are perfect for me. But no more. It would be one thing if I paid $100 for the bag; that would be worth a year of use. Shame on that company--they present themselves as a "high end" line, and I have gotten better wear out of cheap handbags I used to purchase at Kmart when I was young and it was all I could find!
