Was really excited to get them. I ordered them in black. They came in a generic brown box, not the typical Birkenstock blue box. You could see numerous places on them where glue was holding them together, but I needed a shoe to wear due to foot pain. I wore them outside for a very short time and my feet were stained black from the dye coming off of the shearling. Overall disappointed.

Usual size wasn’t ideal to wear socks in. Even thin socks made them feel too tight. The pair received also had an uncomfortable seam in the right clog where the shearling stopped and it pressed down on the toenails.

Got the black shearling. Love the look and the feel. Hate the fact that they dye my feet black. I scrub and scrub and still have black dye on my feet. I would not buy the black shearling again. However, they are very comfortable. I ordered my normal Birkenstock size and they fit perfectly. I'm an 8 and ordered 38 narrow.

Love them and was buying a new pair-my black ones wore out and I wanted to try the brown. They were great except that the inside of the right shoe had extra cardboard(?) or something that cut into my foot- I thought of trying to cut it out and keep, but for this expensive of a shoe it should be in perfect condition. This pair wasn’t.

I feel pretty awesome wearing them, unfortunately the inside of the shoe has glue residue causing discomfort. I am quite sad to see how much glue is in the fluffy material.

Even though the wide was narrow, I went ahead and purchased because I’ve had decent luck with Birkenstock narrow width. These were far too narrow and too short. Birkenstock really needs to make fun colors in the regular width!

Yep these are narrow just as advertised. I was hoping they would be wide enough as my feet are medium width and some reviews rated them as somewhat wide. Sorry I have to return them

Due to the lining of the slippers, it would be good to offer them in a wide width. Even though they may break down over time, they aren’t comfortable at all and so much so that they may not get worn enough to ever make them fit differently.

These are gorgeous but people said to buy the same size as normal in Birks and this was a mistake for me! I bought these to serve as my winter house shoes and they are way to tight to wear with socks, even with the straps loosened. I am not sure if I will return for the larger size or just go with the non-shearling option. ALSO, the sole was slippery! So strange!

Fit and size are the same as my all of my other Birkenstocks. My feet have never felt better. They stay warm all day but not sweaty. My major complaint is the shearling is all coming off around the edges. I’m so torn because I should return for the money I lay but I love in them for the comfort.

I have a narrow heel and wide toe box. The slipper was too snug in the toe box.

Maybe my expectations were too high because I love all my other Birkenstocks, but these really weren't that comfortable or cozy. I expected the sherpa to feel just amazing, but not really. Didn't add much, in my opinion. I sent them back.

As soon as I put them on they were digging into the inner sole of my instep. I don’t have wide feet either. My daughter wears same size but has different feet and she felt it too. It was like cardboard was jamming into my skin. It started to rub a blister. What I wanted was a super warm safe comfy slipper. Def Shipping back ASAP

I hoped these could be supportive warm indoors shoes, but the sharing made them too snug.

I have worn Birkenstocks for years including a shearling lined pair years ago. This pair is tight and there is a sewn in label in the middle of the foot bed that is irritating to the foot. Why one was sewn in there is beyond me! Disappointed in these as I was looking forward to wearing as the weather has cooled.

I have worn Birkenstocks for years in a size 38. I wanted the shearling so bad so I could wear them without socks. The dove gray was a beautiful color! However they were so tight my toes were squished together and the length was off also. I was afraid to size up for fear the arch would be in the wrong place. I have noticed that the sizing in the newer Birks is slipping and no longer reliable. The narrow is supposed to fit a regular also? NOT! Thank goodness Zappos allows free returns!

Love the fur inside but the shape of the shoe didn't work for my long toes!

wanted to like these, but there was a defect in one of the shoes so I'm returning them. there was a hard scratchy area that was not covered by shearling. reviews said buy a 1/2 size bigger, but the shoes were too big and my normal size would've worked.

I love the lighter colors in the Boston shearling, but the black shearling leaves black stain on bare feet.

These shoes hurt the outer sides of both feet as soon as I put them on. The style is cute, but the discomfort made me send them back. I only had to try them on briefly, and I knew that I could never wear them. it really surprised me because I have worn Birkenstocks in the past and really liked the. I ordered the size and width I usually wear.

It is hard to answer the question about Birkenstock shoes anymore that asks, "Felt true to width?" because, like so many long-term Birkenstock shoe wearers, I find that they have become narrower than they used to be. This Boston shearling clog is warm and cozy feeling on the foot but the shearling makes an already narrowed "regular" even more narrow and thus not comfortable. To wait for the shearling to mat down enough for the shoe to become "wide" enough is ridiculous. Other issues: the suede seems to be very quickly prone to scuffing and wear and for brand-new shoes, that is unacceptable. These shoes arrived with a couple of marks and a slight scuff. Plus they were delivered in a very worn looking shoebox inside a plastic mailer. For shoes that cost almost $200 (!!), this is unacceptable. Like many others, I am increasingly finding that my old, loved reliable brand Birkenstock is no longer reliable, is way too expensive and - all styles, not just the shearling - have become too narrow, even when they claim it is "regular." I have enough Birkenstocks that I can compare and I know that they have narrowed their regular. Do they have any awareness of who a typical Birkenstock customer is and why they have been buying Birkenstocks for years? Zappos is still great.

Bought the same size as my usual Birkenstock sandal size, but these were too small, perhaps because of the fur. However, the footbed was not comfortable like my other birk sandals (which felt great day 1.) These feel harder even with the fur.

I really wanted to make these work but I could not get the right fit. I started with my regular Birk size and then tried larger, regular, wide, etc. and nothing worked. Somehow the shearling affected the fit just enough. My toes were always up on the upper lip and therefore squeezed against the top of the shoe. Even the size up had this problem, plus then I was swimming in them (but the narrow was too tight for socks). So, now it's back to the regular Boston.
