This fit well in narrow, true to size for me and for my daughter. But for each of us, there was something uncomfortable about them - for her the upper part of her foot, for me my longest toe. So back they go, but if you like the look of these, maybe they will work. The soles are very nice and the furry inside feels great. For those with wide feet complaining that these are narrow, please be aware that many of us have narrow feet and very much appreciate narrow sizes! :-)

I am a 9.5 but get a size 10 for the width. They felt a little big. The next size down may be a little small. It’s hard-I’m in the middle. For the money, I’m not sure how I feel. I need to have them longer and see how they wear. I can say that the glue that was used, I can feel on my foot as it’s scratchy and uncomfortable. I am working on cutting it out. I have only had summer Birks. This is my first clog. I’m on the fence.

I own many many pairs of Birkenstocks and have been eying these shearling clogs fo a while. I slipped my foot into the soft shearling and at first felt the arch was too high or perhaps the shoe was too narrow (I have flat feet)...I almost put them back in the box. However, I walked around the house for a while pushing down the inner arch and I managed to break them in. I love them! Upon first wear, they feel a bit rigid but give them some time and they will not disappoint.

This is the second time I ordered this shoe in mink. The first one had exposed glue which cut against the inside of the foot. It also had clearly been returned with marks on it. Zappos was amazing in dealing with the return. I ordered a 39 narrow again, hoping for better results. Not so. The shearling was coming off, some of it had been stitched into the suede. You might be able to see it in the pictures I am attaching. I have this shoe in black from another retailer and it has held up very well. Not sure why when I have ordered this in the mink color I have had such bad luck. So I have returned the 39 narrow for a second time because this one also has exposed glue which scratches. I also ordered a 39 regular which works for me since I want to wear the shoe with both socks and no socks. I could probably get away with wearing socks with the narrow, but it doesn’t give me enough room in the tow area for the tow ridge to fit correctly so I opted for the regular and wide fit.

I ordered these and I don’t like that the inside material seem cheap. Overall they run true to size and I’m not impressed with the look or feel. I wanted these to wear to the airport and they will get used for just that. I expected more and was disappointed with the feel and materials. Not worth the price in my opinion.

Felt tight and too tight with thin socks for winter

Very comfortable BUT some of the dye from the black shearling wears off. Not what I would expect from Birkenstock or a $165.00 shoe! Very disappointed.

I love the style, but sadly, it appears I am not meant to wear closed-toe Birks. I have a long 2d toe, longer than the big one, and the traditional Birkenstock footbed angle means that a shoe that is otherwise perfect is too short for that toe. Going up a size means that the shoe is overall too large. For anyone interested, this condition is called Morton's Toe (or Greek Toe), and at least 10% of people have this. Also, I had previously tried the same style without the shearling, and found that even the narrow was way too wide. I then ordered the same size (37N) with shearling, and that made a huge difference, BUT, the long toe issue...

I wear a 36 Narrow in Arizonas and 37 Narrow in Bostons. I ordered 37 Narrow in these shearling Bostons, but they were so tight that I couldn't get my foot all the way into the shoe. I exchanged them for 38 Narrow which were better, but still too tight to be comfortable. I don't think the shearling would flatten enough to make them comfortable. They are beautiful and I'm sure they are warm, but I had to return them. A regular width would have worked for me, but unfortunately they only come in Narrow.

I loved these shoes at first. However, with a very reasonable amount of wear (once or twice a week), within 4 months the shearling began to separate from the footbed. Not the quality I expected.

First, order a size up the shearling Birkenstocks. The shearling so thick that you will need the extra space. I ordered my regular size and realized that I needed a larger size. The shoes felt good but small. The second pair came and both feet had glue on the shearing which felt scratchy and irritating while trying on the shoe. I can only imagine how I would feel a few hours later. Beware of glue.

came apart at the sole.... nearly had accident as they split at the sole and this caused my foot to injure slightly ... maybe it was a one off... Zappo's took care of the problem. Got new pair but different style.

These are SO small & tight?? I've always worn the same size in Birkenstock (sandal or clog) these have to go back :(

I have narrow feet and with the shearling lining, these were too narrow for me. At this price, Birkenstock should have that complicating factor all worked out. Additionally, they did not come in a Birkenstock box! Weird. I almost wonder if they weren’t knock-offs.

I was so disappointed with this purchase as I heard so many wonderful things about Birkensotck. For me, they did not have any arch support and they were uncomfortable to walk in. I had to return them. I really wanted to like them.

LOVE my new Shearling Boston Birks! They are so comfy that I sometimes think I forgot to change out of my slippers before leaving the house. Perfect for going to yoga and for post-workouts (recovery). Just enough shearling that they snuggle my foot without suffocating them. I am ordinarily a size 9 (wider foot) and purchased size 40 reg in Taupe. The color coordinates with EVERYTHING. Gets dirty fast though, so I recommend purchasing some suede cleaner and a suede brush.

The shearling will make the shoe feel a bit tighter than the birks without sehearling, however over time the shearling does compress and the shoe will gain some space. I usually wear the regular/wide and they were fine after a short bit. The only negative is that if you wear the shoes without socks everyday, the shearling will eventually wear down, I think almost all of my shearling has disappeared. But I have worn them everyday, at home, as houseshoes, for a couple of years. I am ordering a new pair. They do keep your feet comfortable year round. Even on really hot days they breath well. They fit true to size, except a but tighter with the shearling. Great arch support. I've worn Birks for decades, and I like that the quality really has decreaseed over the years.

Very comfortable

I love these shoes so much! They're exceptionally comfy and cozy. I happily wear them all day until I want to go barefoot or until I need to put on shoes that are actually attractive. lol

I went with my measured foot size and didn't size up as some recommended. They fit nicely and are cozy. The fur on the inside doesn't take up much room and feels nice.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn, so snuggly and warm! Love them more than all my other Birks! They do run a bit smaller with the shearling, so if you plan to wear them with socks, size up.

classic Birks with extra warmth! I wear these around the house instead of slippers.

Extremely comfortable and easy to wear. Very warm even in winter.

Ironically I just ordered a new pair of this shoe. The last pair I ordered exactly 3 years ago. While the sole still has life left in it, the shearling has worn down to a level that they aren't as comfortable. I will keep the worn out pair and wear them out to the trash etc.

Love these shoes.
