Got these shoes as I have issues with my knees and new a shoe that absorbs some of the shock of running. At first they feel odd but I wasn't in as much pain after running with them.

Got these for my husband. He wanted a new sneaker that has comfort but doesn't look like it goes to the gym so he could wear it to work (casual dress). He loves them. Very good looking.

My wife got me the ON clouds for Christmas. They were so comfortable that I decided to try the Cloudster. This may be the best pair of running shoes I have had. I have nearly 30 pair of running shoes at present. Almost every brand.
I'd also recommend:
Etonic, Nike, Brooks, New Balance

I have come from the Adidas Springblade shoes to these On Running Cloudster and they have been by far the best running shoe i have tried on. The Springblades were a good trainer shoe and a little heavier for cooler temps, but i do like the look, feel, and design of these Cloudsters.
I'd also recommend:
Adidas, Nike, Asics

All I can say is Wow! What an amazing shoe! I was skeptical about the cloud soles, which sport durable rubber loops on the bottom of the shoe to provide a spring-like feel with each step. I thought they could easily make the strike feel hard or, worse, unstable. I was pleasantly surprised on the shoes maiden run a 13 miler. The larger back loops helped me to abandon my tendency to toe strike in favor of a heel strike. This is because the loops on the heel of the shoe are larger than those in front. I could definitely feel the cloud-like spring in each step. Before this shoe, I alternated between various Newton models and Brooks Pure Cadence which I thought was the best shoe I had ever used until I met the On Cloudster. I look forward to trying additional shoes from this company down the road however, judging by some of the reviews on Zappos, it may not be for a long time; many reviewers noted the durability of the shoe for over 500 miles.

I just discovered the brand On and the Cloudster shoe. I am the type of person that a shoe has to catch my eye at first glance and the Cloudster did just that. Not only it the shoe very attractive but it is the most comfortable running shoe I've ever had. I found the shoe to be so good looking and so comfortable that I just ordered a second pair of the exact same shoe.

I bought these wanting to give this brand a try. I've seen a few people at my gym with them and thought I'd give them a try. Overall I love the look of them. I'm a bigger guy so I appreciate the 'shock absorption' theory behind the shoes, although I thought it would have more give during running. While the rubber does compress on impact the majority of the sole feels relatively stiff. I have had Brooks, Hoka's, Adidas and Nikes specifically for running, and in terms of training support they fall in the middle of the pack. I simply really like them as they are a very unique shoe and will be testing them more in the next few weeks.

This is my second pair of On shoes. First pair were the clouds and then decided to go for this style - the shoes are heavier and provide a lot more support. This was all good for me because i was looking or a daily running shoe and these seem to be better suited for that purpose. Overall i have liked both pairs and recommend these shoes.

My son picked these shoes out and after only 2 days, the tread began to tear. He really loved how they felt, but we were both very disappointed in how poorly they seemed to be constructed. I should have returned them, but he wanted to just keep them instead. ???????

I have to buy this brand in men’s sizes (they don’t carry a women’s size large enough), normally I’m an 10.5 in this brand, these were way too big and too wide. They were comfortable but my foot was swimming when I walked.

I will never buy another pair of shoes from this brand. Less than 2 months old and one of the treads completely broke. Not what I expect from a relatively expensive pair of sneakers.

My son picked these out for his athletic sneakers. He loves the style and the fit. We bought them right before a trip to Europe. I would not let him wear them until the day we got on the plane. After two weeks in Europe they were coming apart at the seams and the fabric above the toe box was fraying. We did some mild biking on a bike path and two half day hikes in the Alps on well established trails. After we got back, he did a one week tennis camp (half day) and the soles started to tear and one of the laces broke. I can't believe these shoes lasted only three weeks for my 14 year old. They are expensive and should last him 6 months. Unfortunately I threw away the receipt and packaging right before we left for Europe. I am buying them for him again for school as he really likes these. We'll see if they hold up longer when he is sitting in a classroom
