I returned these, but I feel several reviews were correct - these appear well made, were comfortable and well insulated. My problem was putting them on and lacing them up. The bottom three eyelets are cloth and present resistance to pulling the laces tight, the continuous loop system made it difficult to get enough oomph to pull the laces taut and the left-over laces after you are laced up lay out in front. Traditional laces would improve this product. as would be metal speed-lace eyelets top-to-bottom with none of the loop-lace folderol. Additionally, the heavy insulation on the tongue made lacing troublesome as well. They never felt well adapted and tight to my feet. But they felt warm and soft inside, so maybe someone not needing a tight fit would be okay with them. I was not.

Tried four different models of the Baffin boots. These, the Tundras, summit and control max. These and the control max seemed identical in style and fit but I chose the snow monster over the open lace system of the control max. The tundras were light and comfortable but the opening at the top of the boot was not close able and too wide for my legs. These were sealable by drawstring Finally the summit boot were super light and comfortable and would be great fit around town but not for idle feet ice fishing or atving. They did not seem warm enough for those situations

As an outdoorsman, I spend a significant amount of time in the woods through all four seasons. I've owned many "high end" boots. These boots.... the day I put them on I couldn't believe how comfortable the felt on my feet. It was more like having a pillow wrapped around my foot than a boot. I trudged through about 14" of snow in my fields, they were warm and dry. I could easily drive in them, walk in them.. wear them all day long without the slightest discomfort. I haven't tried packing into the woods with a load on my back yet, (I just got them two days ago). But before the month is out I'm sure I will... Fantastic boots...

I’m a 9.5 boot and shoe. Ordered a 10 thinking these were true to size and wanting room for thick socks. The 10 was pretty snug without heavy socks. The 11 is a bit too roomy. Going to keep the larger size because it’s easier to add socks that it is to squeeze into a smaller boot. Wish these came in half sizes.

Bought these for my husband. He loves them. He commented just this mor nu ing that his socks don't fall down, they are light weight and yet offer support without being clunky. His feet stay nice and toasty warm. He's a happy camper with this purchase!

bought two pairs of these boots - one for my husband and one for myself. we live at 9500' and get around 250" of snow each winter. these boots are super comfortable and very warm. right out of the box we took a long hike and they were great!! my only complaint is that one of the liners rubs a bit on my ankle - but i am hoping that in time that will soften up.

They are not waterproof. They are not water resistant. They are warm and super comfortable but unless it's dry conditions they are useless.

Fits well; there's just a tiny bit of flex and movement inside the not, but it makes for a comfortable feel when walking vs. a stiff stride and feel. Keeps my feet warm, and I have a tough time with that due to circulation issues. I'd recommend these boots to anyone looking for a solid, comfortable winter boot.

I honestly don't know how boots could get any more comfortable than these ones. Treads have excellent grip and are the most flexible I've found yet- you can actually bend your feet and stand on your tippy-toes...not stiff as ski boots, like most others. I'm able to drive a manual transmission, which I wouldn't even attempt in my other boots. Shouldn't have to replace these for at least a decade, or so. Expensive, but you get what you pay for. It's obvious that a lot of acquired knowledge and craftsmanship went into making these boots. Warm, flexible, comfortable. No brainer.

Excellent warmth and moisture resistance. A bit narrow and slightly stiff.

I agree with everything Keith (November 2019) said in his review. It is nearly impossible to tighten the laces on these boots. As a result, my heels slip, especially when hiking or snowshoeing uphill. They are very warm and comfortable just walking around, but I would not recommend them if you plan to hike or snowshoe in them. These (size 13) boots are also so large that my XL gaiters (which fit fine around my old Sorels) do not fit around them, and they just barely fit in my snowshoe bindings.

Prooduct had no original packing or tags and was missing a riveted eyelet! Very disappointing

Baffin's usually run a little small so I bought a mens 12. This 12 was acually a size 12 so Im exchanging for an 11. Amazing boot!!!

Have worn a few times now and worth the money!

Amazing boot. I wear a women's size 9 and purchased a men's 7. Perfect fit. Super warm.

I’m a 10.5, the 11 fit perfect. Seem very warm as well.

This snow boot is the best pair of boots I've ever owned and that comfort of these are perfect for me and I saved $40 using Zappos thanks for that Zappos!

At first it was tight on my left foot because of a small bunion on My large toe because of the steel toed shoes I've worn All my life for work but after I broke these in OH MAN!! WELL WORTH the money! Comfortable,and Warm let's see what this Michigan winter brings

I got this for my husband, because we are about to move way up north. He loves them. it’s pretty comfortable and warm he says and he is pretty picky. he usually wears size 8 in shoes, but we ordered size 10 and it fits the best thinner socks and still has space with thick winter socks.

These are very comfortable, warm and easy to put on and take off. Very easy to wear all day. Love these boots

As a woman with cold and wide-ish feet, I wasn't having any luck finding a women's boot that was rated warm enough to get me through New Hampshire's winter and that wasn't going to pinch my feet and make them even colder. As soon as I started searching men's boots, I stumbled across these. They have thick padding, but are still lightweight and not as bulky as I expected. They fit TTS (men's 7 = women's 8.5). They are a nice practical choice for outdoor activities in the cold weather!

My husband loves these boot for comfort and style so far. He hasn’t had them out in snow yet but says they fit to size, are really comfortable as he was wearing them to test out. They should keep his feet warm because the insulation is high quality

I bought these for a trip to Yellowstone the week of January 20. I needed boots that fit great as I would be wearing them all day and into the evening. The boots fit great and were very comfortable but more importantly they kept my feet warm

I wear an 8.5 in running shoes, and ended up feeling comfortable in the 8. Great insulation. Took a few days to get used to getting them on and off easily, but nothing inconvenient. The laces are a bit long especially when pulled tight, but the quick draw feature is pretty nice.

I normally wear 8.5 and an 8 was perfect.
