Looks great and for the price a very good value. I normally wear 8.5W and have a high instep. Since there is no wide I ordered the 8.5D. There is enough room for my wide feet. The 2 lace as well as easy to slide my foot in even with my high instep. Footbed is pretty flat so I'd say not much arch support there. I have yet to find out how long I can go wearing these in a full day.

Within four days of wearing these shoes to my office, I noticed a small hole on the left shoe on the side facing my other foot. I thought I must have punctured it somehow, and proceeded to patch it up with some glue and stitching. A few days later while on a trip, I noticed the right shoe felt a little loose while walking through an airport...I looked down and found that there was a huge tear from the ankle cuff about halfway down the shoe (vertically, as well as two dime-sized holes that had started from smaller tears apparently. I took that shoe off and inspected it further, and found that I could continue the tear by hand with incredibly little effort. If it weren't for the now-dangling piece of thread that used to be the cuff stitching, the shoe would not have remained on my foot until I could get my luggage to grab a different pair. I would highly advise against purchasing these shoes; instead, set a few extra dollars aside and spring for something of better quality.

Great shoes from my past. They must be broken in and I bought a half size larger to accommodate this fact. I wore a pair exactly like these all through High School. Sometimes, the old is the best. I love my new Desert boots.

These are the most comfortable shoes out there. These shoes are my all time favorites. I had to buy a pair in every color. This company knows what they are doing, I strongly recommend all Robert Wayne footwear shoes/boots. Keep it up!

I'm a barefoot kind of guy and like the feel of a moccasin, these desert boots fit the bill. I wear a 9 and fits snug but super comfortable. Great with jeans or chinos, work or casual. At Zappos price, I ordered two of different colors.

These shoes are incredible comfortable. The first day I wore them I had them on for over 12 hours with no problems at all. They run a little wide, but not terribly wide.

I have had these shoes for four days. Day two I noticed a hole forming on the right shoe, facing the left. The material used for these is thinner than most moccasin indoor slippers. If you plan on walking more than a mile in these shoes, you'll be disappointed. I am planning on sewing the hole and patching it somehow, but with just thread, the hole will get bigger. I have to say, they are pretty comfortable. They feel like heavy socks. Spend the money and get a real pair of shoes.

I had the same experience as another reviewer; after less than 10 days of wearing them, the uppers developed tears in areas that do not even seem to be wear areas (side of the ankle an back of heel), and they appear to be about to split where they flex on the forefoot. They are comfortable, but I expect they will need to be thrown out by the time they've been worn 20 times.
