These are an amazing running shoe by Skora. I wear them for more than just running though. I wear them for CrossFit, for strength training session in the gym, I've worn them hiking, and so far I've worn them on two continents. :) They travel with me wherever I go, and that's a lot of places! This minimal shoe helps to correct poor run form (when running) and is ridiculously durable! It has a lifespan probably longer than a human! You won't have to worry about hitting the 100 mile mark with these shoes, you can run at least 10 times that before even looking at the sole for wear! Now that you've heard about the fit, just check out the styling. I love the side lacing. This really helps me because I have a high arch and normal lacing always irritates that top bone in my foot, not with these!

I love this shoe! The moment you put it on it feels like a comfortable slipper and not a "sneaker." The leather is incredibly soft and I love the color of this model in particular. (If you don't want a version with leather, they make other models from a mesh.) It just fits. You will love all the toe room! My toes have far more space than a traditional running shoe, and yet the shoe hugs my heel perfectly. I use these shoes primarily for CrossFit but they've become my most comfortable sneaker. Plus they are a very, very stylistic minimal shoe option. The purple heel is shiny in person and looks awesome. (They sort of look like golf shoes in this picture, and that is not how they look in person.) As far as sizing, I think the Core runs a bit large. I normally wear a Size 10 in sneakers and most shoes, and I fit into a 9.5 very comfortably. If you're just transitioning to a minimal shoe, you may want to look at the Skora Fit because it has more cushioning than the Core.

Best shoes ever! I only wear minimalist shoes now - I have since Merrell introduced them 3 or so years ago. Totally changed my life, no more foot pain. But these are better than Merrells! I just wore these shoes - and only these shoes - for a two-week trip to Turkey. They were comfortable on airplanes and in airports, felt great walking over rocks and ruins, and looked nice too. (In kind of a euro style. Dress shoes they are not.) The soles show no wear at all, which has been Merrells' drawback - those vibram soles do develop holes after a few months. The Skoras just seem thicker or harder, though still very flexible. My new favorites!

Tried six other pairs of leisure shoes to find perfection! Eureka. Finally a shoe I don't want to take off. Arch support is perfect for me. I find some arch; supports too extreme. This has it, but not annoyingly. I have neuropathy and balance problems so shoes are critical to me. The last thing I want to sacrifice is fashion. These have a cool factor that's bound to get comments. From the oil slick iridescent heels to the reflective trim and the supple goat skin body these shoes are fabulous. I hesitated at the white; but in person, with all the grey, these don't read as an all white shoe...more like a neutral pearl grey. I love them! Thank you Zappos, and for your superb customer service. Ordered yesterday, I'm wearing them today.

My first minimalist shoe. Tried an Altra trail, and also Vivo Barefoot One. This shoe fit the best in my normal running shoe size and definitely had the widest toe box.

I love this shoe! The moment I tried them on I knew I had finally found something that I would keep. This shoe is advertised as a great shoe for running, but I wanted a great minimalist shoe for walking and general wear that was similar to my "barefoot" shoes. Something that allowed my toes to stretch and allowed me to strengthen my feet (and balance) without being bound so tightly. These shoes are perfect. They are as comfortable as slippers and allow the wearer to grip the floor/ground. I have plantar fasciitis and love that these shoes feel good on my feet. I will definitely purchase another pair when I need them.

Love these shoes! I'm not a big runner but decided to get my first pair of "minimalist" shoes - to help train for my half marathon coming up in three months. The first day I went running, I happened to get stuck in the middle of central park trapped in an isolated thunderstorm and my feet were completely dry! They are also the most comfortable pair of lightweight shoes I've ever had before. Love the design too and everywhere I go I got compliments for the colors. I usually wear a 9 in Nike, but these I ordered an 8.5 and there was still plenty of room in the toebox, so I would suggest ordering a half size smaller than your normal sneaker size.

I absolutely love these running shoes. I love Zappos even more! I purchased a woman's size 9 and sent them back for an 8½. Zappos took care of the exchange before I even shipped back the size 9! Both shipments arrived within two days of original order/exchange. These shoes are comfortable, light, and stylish. They are well worth the money!

Really love these shoes! I have worn these for both trail and road. I think the goat leather holds up great on the trail and they clean up so easily. I have used them for long distance runs and they had a very comfortable ride. Good support and cushioning. The leather is very soft and plush - I was afraid to wear them and mess them up! But I am really happy with the shoe. Style-wise, they are beautiful shoes and I love the colors.
