They look awful and r not as comfortable as I thought

Maybe this particular pair of Pro XPs is simply a lemon; I have a pair in a different color and they fit perfectly. This pair has a size discrepancy between the right and left shoe. The right shoe is a bit larger than the left which makes it uncomfortable. I'm sorry to send them back, but I don't want to wear a heavy sock on one foot. They do have excellent arch support.

I constantly have problems with my feet, no matter what shoes I wear... these would have been the perfect shoe, if it was wider. These do not feel like wide with shoes. If I hadn't worn them already, I would return them. They are so tight across the top of my feet, that they leave an imprint on my feet. But as far as the arch support, they are great, the bottoms of my feet don't hurt anymore. I just wish they were wider.

Fit was off. Love this brand. I wear regular Pro Dansko clogs in a 41 daily(I wear a 10 in womens)The 41 allows the slip of the heel and they are super comfortable. I bought a pair of the Pro XP for work and the 41 was a full size too big. I went to the local Dansko dealer to try on a 40 and it fit exactly like the 41 in the non XP version. Who knows why...but FYI.

While I love Dankos, this particular pair was too narrow for me. But Zappos free and easy returns made the disappoint of them not fitting me a softer blow.

Thought this would be good for foot pad pain.But sure did not work.

Only got it because of the reviews. Everybody says how comfortable it is, how it helps with their foot/back pain. The first time I wore I got lumps on top of my right foot. My new balance sneakers did a better job and looks better. It's not worth the price tag. Very heavy

I have two other (older) pairs of Danskos and I love them. I was hoping for the same affection for this pair, but unfortunately I've lost that loving feeling. For one, the foot bed is more ridgid (hard) than my other pairs. There's just not as much cushion. Two, the soles are more "brittle"-- I don't quite know how to explain it, but they're not as rubbery and shock absorbent. They sound very clompy and hollow when I walk. The back of the shoe that comes up over my heel is taller than my other pair and rubs differently. I'm going to keep them because I've already started wearing them (and would have never known about these issues just by looking at the shoes), but I'm disappointed.:( The quality of the shoes seems to have taken a dip, and for the cost, that shouldn't be the case. (Note: this review is for the brown floral tooled.)

I've worn Danskos for the past 15 years. I work as a nurse -12 HR shifts and these are the only shoes that supported my feet-until now. Not sure what has changed, but they seem to fit differently now. My older pair of XP's from a couple of years ago have a much more cushioned insole. The pair I recently purchased feel no different from the Dansko professional, and actually hurt the balls of my feet. I purchased the same size as I usually do (38) and the overall fit was fine after a couple of days, but had to send back doe to the discomfort.

My friend recommended Dansko's. Due to their price, I put up with them for one semester before switching to Alegria's. I wore them around the house a few days but after wearing them to work repeatedly I found that they cut into my arches and I don't even have high arches. Proceed with caution.

This is a really cute Dansko clog, but it's just not as comfortable as the Dansko Professional. It's too tight across the top of my foot. I thought it would break in, but after a year or two, it still hasn't.

I LOVE my older pair of these and was looking to replace after many years of wearing. I have a size 37 so ordered the same. Interestingly the newer style is slightly longer & narrower and little arch support. My older pair has terrific arch support! Sadly these are not the same quality/support as older versions. Back they go!

Since my foot surgery 13 years ago I wear only Dansko shoes. Wanted to try this new style XP. The insert is great for comfort BUT it takes too much space and makes the shoe tight and uncomfortable. I returned them and got my old style. Love love Dansko!

These are not wide enough, nor have enough room for a high instep. Very disappointed. I know these are excellent shoes with excellent support but they are not made wide enough.

I'm 6 months pregnant and thought that these shoes would be the answer to my foot/heel pains. They definitely alleviated my heel pain, but the tops of my feet became bruised and very sore (they rock on your foot, and since your heel does not meet the back of the shoe, the top of your foot secures the shoe). I found I was better off in low-heeled booties.

Not wide enough for me. I don't normally wear wide size shoes. However standing all day I don't enjoy the feeling of my foot's width being constricted. Could not move my toes freely as they state. I wear a 7 and got a 37. Dansko doesn't make Pro XP in wide width, despite Zappos showing that they carry it but it's out of stock. I would be okay with this shoe being wider. The arch was placed too forward in the shoe.

Great shoe but with all the extra cushion they were too hot and too heavy. Also, the fit as too big. My other identical Dankso's that are not the XP are the same size and fit like a dream. These were too mushy, too heavy, and my feet got too hot.

I have worn Dansko clogs every day for the past 18 years and recently bought this pair. For some reason the break-in period of this shoe has been horrible. They will not give. They are so rigid that I just cringe every morning when I put them on. I have never had this issue with every other pair I have owned (roughly 10 pairs). Not sure why the change? Different leather?

I was hoping to have ended my search for an extremely comfortable shoe with the purchase of these Dansko shoes. Unfortunately, that is not the case. These shoes are so heavy. I don't need the extra weight on my feet. And the Wide, just isn't wide enough for my feet. Sigh. Why can't shoe manufacturers make wider, more comfortable, stylish shoes?

Very hard on the inside. Kills my very small bunion ugh. I'm on my feet for 9 hours a day and these don't help. Going to buy some Asics.

I'm a Nurse and wanted to try a shoe that would support my feet for 12 hour shifts. I originally ordered a 39 normal width, but the shoe was really tight in the width. I returned them for a 39 wide width (kudos to Zappos' customer service and exchange process), and they felt really comfortable. After having these shoes for 6 months, I have noticed that my feet have more calluses than usual, especially on the ball of my foot and pinky toe. The shoes do seem to hold up well although my feet are still sore at the end of my shift. I have also noticed that these shoes make my feet sweaty and therefore my feet slide up into the shoe. I have never had a problem with sweaty feet before this. The reason for 3 stars is mainly that I bought these and they definitely do not live up to the praises and 5 star reviews they receive. They aren't a terrible shoe though and do it's job. It just isn't worth me buying another pair.

I purchased a 40 wide, I normally wear a 9 normal width. These are so tight that I cannot wear them at all! I was so excited to finally find some that came in wide width. I was really hoping that they would fit me. I am extremely disappointed.

Basic nurse shoes. I used to be a huge fan, and this was probably my 4th or 5th pair, but I'm pretty much over them. I think any Dansko wearer will tell you that it's easy to roll an ankle in these, and it's definitely true. Also, my feet just ache after wearing them. After 10 years of commitment to Danskos, I'm back to tennis shoes for good.

I had heard good things about these shoes, and as I struggle with plantar fasciitis, I wanted to give them a try. I have both wide and thick feet and tend to avoid slip on shoes that I can't adjust the tops of them because of this. Unfortunately these shoes were not thick enough for my feet and I had to return them. They seemed to be a good quality, but just not for me.

I was so disappointed in this shoe. I have never worn a wide shoe in my life but when I tried the normal width on the toe box was too small. I loved the arch support so I ordered the wide but the toe box was still too small! The heel was just more roomy and therefore sloppier. I have a very small bunionette on my left foot but it has never been an issue before with shoe selection. However, these shoes were intolerable on both feet. So so sad.
