I wear 7.5. With slippers I always need a larger size due to the heavy socks I wear. These slippers are LG (8-9) and are perfect. Without the thick socks (Smartwool Snowboarders) they are loose but with the socks they are just right. The soles are cushy and make walking a delight. They are machine washable and dryable, despite being wool.

These are the slippers I tried on in a store before ordering them. the sizing is a very poor concept. they run 6 to7 or 8 to9. I am a 7 to 7 and a half which is a pretty usual size. I couldn't even get my foot into the 6 to7 and the 8 to9 were very loose, falling off. for the price acorn lists for these slippers they could do better sizing!! I like the style but size, comfort and quality are lacking. Will continue to search for this boot style in a better quality brand.

I was interested in getting the UGG Alena because they were so cute, but read the reviews and it seemed that they weren't completely worth the $120! I've never spent so much on slippers! So I went back to browsing. I found Acorn. They looked cute. Read reviews and most were super happy with the product. I loved that they were a little different from all the others, little squirrel or owl stitched into the heel, cute. Ordered a 5-6/small, fit perfect. I have wide feet and usually wear a 5.5 or a 6 in shoes. I don't see that a narrow foot would have any trouble with these slippers either as they aren't WIDE slippers but my feet feel great in them, not tight or binding at all. No slipping of my heel, sole is very comfy and cushy, very warm and I can slip them on and off pretty easy with the heal tab attached. Actually one side I can slip right on and the other I need to use the tab. Can be worn outside but still flexible enough for curling up on the couch with them on. I have no idea how long they will last but they seem to be good quality so I'd expect several years.

Love, love, love these slippers. They are toasty warm without need for socks. The bootie aspect of them provide enough warmth around my ankles, but allows air in so as not to make my feet roast. I especially like the rubber outer sole so a quick step outside doesn't leave me with wet feet. I wear 9 1/2 to 10 in shoes and got the XL size which fit perfectly!

I bought the forest booties for my adult daughter's birthday. She wears a size 9 and I bought size 8-9. They fit perfectly, at the toe, didn't slip at the heel, were very comfortable, and warm, but not too warm. She commented that she may never take them off...they felt so good. Really cute too, and earthy. She loves her new forest bootie!

I've worn the Acorn moccasin slippers for years, and decided to give these booties a try. I'm hooked! I love them. I have the brown and the red. They are so comfortable. And they are so warm - quite a bit warmer than the mocs. They're beautifully made. And to top it all off, they're really fun looking.

Cute slipper. Boiled wool and plush lining, but the ankle opening felt too loose. Cheaper than Giesswein and Haflinger which also make boiled wool slippers. No arch support.

For what I paid, I expected longer life. Laid off shortly after purchase, COVID hit shortly after that. Guess I’ll find my duct tape?!?

I love these slippers! I had been wearing a pair of Acorn crew sock slippers for the last 25 years, and they no longer make them, so I needed a replacement. These have turned out to be my next favorite. They are machine washable, and I have only washed them once, and it kind of renewed their vibrance and soft footbed. My one concern is that one of the tab in the back to help with pulling them on is starting to tear, and I've only had them a couple of months.

I originally bought the size large. Though I wear a 7/7.5 shoe, I like a roomy slipper. The large was too roomy. I had a very no nonsense exchange over the phone and received the size medium in 2 days. The medium is perfect and the slippers are wonderful...comfortable, whimsical and well made.

Extremely cozy, these fit like a glove. Even though they are very warm, they don't make your feet sweat and feel very comfortable to walk around in. The soles are substantial enough to walk around without making the slipper feel clunky or heavy. This is the third Acorn product I have purchased and every one of them has been all around excellent.

I've only worn these for about 6 hours, but I'm pleasantly surprised. I hesitated to spend this much, but so far no regrets. These are very substantial slippers and really comfortable. I have arthritis in my feet and they hurt when they're cold. I'm finding these to be toasty warm. The wool uppers are very insulating. I'm a true size 9 and the large (8-9) fits perfectly with or without socks. These are not slippers you can just slide on, you will need to pull them on with your hands.

I love the design and color and materials of the slippers. I usually wear a size 9 so I ordered the extra large slippers they were way too big then I exchanged for the large at first they were a little snug at my toes they finally stretched out after a few wears. I do wish they had some arch support.

I've decided to return these booties, though they are SO CUTE! But, too large, and I can't stand the memory foam in the insole. It makes the boot too soft, and makes my feet wobble around, creating stress on my ankles and knees. I HATE memory foam in shoes, it's only good for mattress pads!

Last time I tried the recommended size medium. Too big. I walked out of them. This time I tried the small. Almost impossible to pull it over my heel. So tight. Too bad. They're' cute slippers.

I wear these without socks, normally wear a size 10 women's and found the size snug but comfortable. Con: These are a little work to get on (really had to cram my foot in and tug the heel up, the tab is necessary and appreciated) Pro: Very comfortable once on, excellent house shoes. Machine Washable. Wool upper. Soft gentle interior (does not irritate my sensitive skin). Cute owls?! (ok maybe not a pro for everyone) Other Notes: I have washed them in the washing machine and they came out quite clean and well intact (a few thread ends came loose but no stitching came out on first machine wash). They take a couple days to fully dry but because they are wool uppers, they're not cold to wear if still a little damp, or wet on the outside from dipping out to pick up mail in the rain, just me?? I have wide feet so if you do too these are still worth checking out! Toes do not feel cramped, which is great :) In conclusion I LOVE these house shoes and have been wearing them daily since I got them. Will definitely be back for more when these wear out.

Very comfortable and cute design.

Fit and sizing are perfect. I can actually slip my feet into them without using my hands. I like everything about these slippers. I bought Acorn brand once before and I was very happy with that pair also. My husband likes that the soles don’t make a lot of noise on the wood floors. All around, fantastic buy!

I love these slippers. These seemed wide & no real way to tell the right from the left when they came out if the box. After I wore them a couple times they really conformed to my feet. Now there is a definite right & left shape. They also feel less wide now. They are a great, super-warm indoor slipper.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this bootie slipper! Soft and plush comfort, from the moment they were out of the box and on my happy feet. I have always been pleased with the quality and construction of Acorn slippers-- they are not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. Made of flexible boiled wool, these will only improve with time, molding to fit even better. Extremely lightweight, well made, and the whimsical little embroidered owl is simply enchanting!
