These are my 4th pair of Acorn Mocs so clearly something keeps me coming back. They are extremely comfortable and warm. My poor feet are arthritic (and I'm not even that old!) and these are the only slippers I've found that expertly combine comfort, support and warmth. I don't find them particularly attractive and wish they offered adult sizes in fun colors like those offered in children's sizes. Unfortunately, they have a significant and consistent design flaw: The rubber sole detaches from the upper after a few months of wear. This has happened on all 3 pair I own (this recent purchase excluded since they are so new) and always in exactly the same spot - near the big toe. I wish Acorn would address this issue. Once the opening becomes large enough, the rubber sole catches on the edge of stairs causing one to stumble. For this reason I would hesitate recommending these to anyone with balance issues or who is already unsteady on their feet. All that said, I do keep coming back for more. Go figure.

The slipper is lined with fleece which makes it lovely to put on your feet. However, fleece is very slippery and not rigid so your feet just slip off to the side when you try to walk in these and the slippers are quickly getting trashed.

If you wear an even numbered size, this slipper will be too big because it is sized to fit up to the next even numbered size. I wear an 8, the slipper is an 8/9, so it's too big. Very annoying.

For the last 10-12 years I have been buying these same mocs (same color) annually for my wife. This year, out of the box, they felt considerably lighter than our previous purchases. They are MUCH lighter than the year old mocs she currently wears. When she put them on her first comment was that they must have changed the amount or type of padding used because they felt a lot less cushioned than before. They used to have an almost decadent, luxurious feel to them. Now, not so much.

I have now had this pair of Acorn slippers for three years! I needed good house shoes, as I go in and out of the house throughout the day. These have held up wonderfully, with daily use over half the year. The insides are not pilled, the soles still have tread, and I throw them in the washing machine when necessary. I will definitely stick with this brand; in fact, I am getting ready to buy three pairs for holiday gifts.

Warm and comfy, but Acorn slipper sizes don't it my feet. The Mediums are too small and the Larges too big. I wish they has numbered sizes, because they have very nice slippers. No arch support.

I am so disappointed. This is probably my 3rd or 4th pair of Acorn slippers. I work from home so wear them nearly all day every day. It's so obvious that they've decreased the amount of cushion in the sole to the point that my feet actually hurt when I walk on my wood floors. It doesn't feel like memory foam at all anymore rather it's just some cheap styrofoam that compresses to nothing under body weight (and I'm a completely average-size person).

If your looking for comfort-strength-a slipper that's more like a shoe to use indoor and out as you pick up the paper-or take out the trash cans-this is the all around best slipper I have ever owned. Now if I could only keep the dog from finding them--Rebel loves to play with them too. He's a Australian Shepard that hunts for the hiding place of dads slippers-and it takes him more time to tear up these Acorn slippers than any of his other doggie toys! Hey , there you go another new product line to add to the bottom line--don't forget to send Rebel his first! Thanks for making a Great product!

So comfy! I usually wear a 9.5, but I ordered the Medium (8-9). At nurse my toes touched the front but they have packed down and are perfect now. It’s like walking on clouds!

My sister needed a pair that gave her feet support and would not slip when she walked. These met her need and she walks without fear of slipping.

I was looking for a pair of slippers that wouldn't make my feet sweat. So far, I've been able to wear these all day without feeling like I need to let my feet breathe. They don't have a lot of support but they do have cushion and are comfortable to wear on my hard floors. The fabric is fraying a little after just a few weeks, because they are made from a woven, textured fabric. When I first put them on, the seam around the foot felt a little awkward, but by the end of the day they had broken in and it wasn't noticeable. The sizing runs big in my opinion. I got a size 8-9 and it is a little loose even though I wear a 9.5 shoe. But I think that makes them more breathable and comfy. They stay on my feet well and are not sloppy when walking. There is plenty of grip on the bottom to prevent slipping. I also think they'd do fine to throw them in the washing machine if my feet do sweat and they start to smell.

With socks they fit perfectly, without socks they are too wide and my heel slips a bit. I can live with that in a slipper. I have narrow feet. I tried 6 pairs of slippers and these are the ones I’m keeping. They have a nice cushiony bottom for walking on tile floors, and the rubber sole is non slippery and would support trips to the mailbox. Plus they’re pretty cute!
I’m a size 8 shoe and the 8-9 is the perfect length, but for me, on the wide side.

I thought these slippers would be more warm and cozy but the memory foam was ridiculously thin and the fleece was only on the outside of the slipper. Huge disappointment. I'm going back to either Uggs or LLBean slippers. I can see keeping these slippers if they were $10 but for $45, they are a HUGE rip off.

Have loved this slipper for years, so when my new pair arrived, I excitedly put them on. They have changed. The sole was not the cushy, comfortable sole I have come to expect, and the top part was very hard. It pushed into the skin on the top of my foot and it hurts.

I love these slippers! For years, I bought the Mountain Lodge slippers sold by LLBean - washable, durable, cushy under the foot. Then they quit carrying them about 3 years ago. Slowly, the two remaining pairs of slippers that I owned wore out until they were pretty much unwearable. Time to go hunting and my first stop is always Zappo's. Well, what should I find but these slippers by Acorn that are the exact style as the slippers I used to get from LLBean. I loved the construction of my LLBean slippers, and these are just like them. No pressure over my very high instep. Lots of room in the toebox for my wide feet. Comfy insole. And, best of all, washable. I throw them in the washer in lingerie bags, then hang them to dry. What I really like is the flexible soles. I wasn't crazy when slippers went from fabric soles to plastic/rubber soles, but, as long as they were light and flexible, I was fine with them. These are perfect. I'm so happy I found them. I bought a second pair in the sweater knit so that I would always have a backup.

I received the womens textured moccasins about a month ago. These are the best fitting an most comfortable slippers I have ever worn.I wear these just constant because of the comfort of them. This is the only pair of slippers I've ever had that DON'T make my feet sweat! If you are in need of new slippers I suggest you buy these without a second thought!

Bought a women’s size L in the Chinchilla mocs for my 11yr old son who wears a 7 men’s, but the women’s designs are nicer and more appealing to tweens. Bonus, they also fit me! He loves their soft & fuzziness, though was disappointed at first because the faux fur is not on the inside— only the outside. The inside is typical fleecy lining and is fine. After about 10 minutes, he was ok with it. Fit is true to size —I wear a women’s 8 and they are roomy, but stay on. FWIW, I always wear socks with my slippers. Love the rubbery sole. Great for a quick trip outside to retrieve the mail or whatnot.

Oh,wow! My new slippers with the crazy flower designs are just right! I just had orthotics made, and wanted a slipper with a removable insole. Couldn't be better. The owner of ALB (Anderson Limb and Brace) agreed with me that Zappo's was a place he recommended for buying shoes. All three pairs of shoes that I bought are great.

Where did the cushioning go in these slippers? I have always loved the Acorn Moc and have had several pairs over the last few years, but I am disappointed in my most recent purchase. The insole is very flat feeling whereas before it was like walking on clouds. Very disappointing.

This slipper is comfortable and supper cute. However, the sole is soft and springy. This is not a good thing for me. I have trouble with balance and the give in the sole required me to work to keep my balance as I walked. I had to send them back.

Cute style, good quality fabric, but there is a large exposed seam on the inside wear the two pieces meet. When I out the slippers on I could feel the seam along my inner arch and outside mid-foot. Inside fabric is lined but the folded over seam is exposed and touches your foot. I would think there’d be a lining to smooth this over. Returning.

The pair I received were HUGE. I have a size 10 -10 1/2 foot. My feet were swimming in these. The left one let my foot slip over the outer side. I tried them with my own insoles and heavy socks....still too big to be safe. These are cute but BIG.

Buyer beware! I used to own Acorn slippers with a brown sole and side border. I had them for years and loved them. So, I ordered the same style, except the sole and side border are black. I slipped them on to try around the house. Later in the evening I discovered the black had rubbed off on my carpet, ottoman, and light gray sofa. The black seems to be rubbing off of the black suede-like side trim. I haven't tried to clean it off yet - hoping it's not a permanent stain.
