I have worn men size 43R Dansko Professional Clogs for over eight years. I believe recently the company changed the mold as I could not fit the shoes due to a very tight insertion opening. I tried size 42W, 43R, 43W and even 44R to no avail. I finally bought the XP variety of the Professional size 43R which although at the beginning was a bit snug at the point of insertion, it quickly became comfortable and is now my daily wear. I'm not happy that XP costs more, but I am elated to have well fitting clogs after all.

I have worn and enjoyed the comfort of Danko clogs for many years, but have never felt compelled to write a review before trying the Pro XP recently. The XP offers a major step up in comfort and support - best arch support I have ever experienced. I am glad I read reviews prior to ordering as these shoes run a bit small. I am a size 11/ 44 in any other shoe or Dansko I wear, but up-sized to a 45 and they fit perfectly. My only complaint, which others have brought up as well, is that they do make my feet sweat more than other clogs that I have worn. Overall, an awesome, well cushioned, well supported clog for those of us who spend long hours on their feet.

I have been wearing Dansko shoes for a long time now previously and still the Dansko Wil which has a cushioned foot pad and an open back which is fantastic.
I recently bought the Dansko XP Pro Brown Oiled in size 43 which was a proper fit for me since I wear basically a size 10. The shoe is very comfortable very good ARCH Support, with a Cushioned Foot Bed that is also removeable.
All in all just a great shoe.
This was just perfect for my foot condition since I had gone thru extensive ankle surgery excellent arch support.
Thank you Dansko
GREAT SERVICE AS ALWAYS

I feel like all the people claiming that the company "changed the mold" are the same people that can't fit into their prom dress anymore because someone must have washed it in hot water.
These are great shoes. I just switched professions and after 25 years of wearing work boots these shoes are fantastic. I actually look forward to putting them on and don't groan loudly when I take them off.
The first pair was returned, as they were too tight. I just ordered the next size up and now I'm in love. The only downside is that they look different, clogs I mean. I'm sure it's in my head but I feel like Frankenstein's monster when I walk. They add a couple inches in height so that's cool for all you shorties out there.

For what this shoe is, it's great. I recommend wearing no shoe socks with them as they are hot and feet can sweat easily in them.

I bartend and thought these would be great. They rub the top of my foot so bad that my foot goes numb. Can't wear them anymore. They are painful. Waste of $150.
Toe box is nice for wider feet maybe if you sit all day. But not if you move around.

I always order one size bigger; it works when it comes to clogs. They are the best clogs I have ever owned. I worked eight and a half straight hours, plus rode a bus for three hours altogether, and they were fantastic. They are so comfortable to walk on or stand up. I have read some reviews that are unfavorable; i think it's just not for everybody, all feet are different I am thinking, but for me it was pure heaven. I hope the experience lasts, and the shoes last. I bought the XP and the nubuck, but used a waterproof repellent to treat it first. Get a good one, invest in a good one cause these shoes are not cheap, but worth it.

First pair of clogs I've owned. Purchased after numerous people in the OR recommended the brand to me. They're very comfortable and allow me to stand without heel/back pain for more hours than I was able to when I was wearing just normal sneakers.
Tried them out in a store since I didn't want to wait the days for shipping. They definitely ran a full size small for me (and even the store clerk agreed). I'm normally a 10.5 in sneakers so the 44 seemed appropriate for me; however, that was too small and the 45 definitely fit me much better.

These are very comfortable, and fit well. I had to go 2 sizes up to get a good fit. Thank you!

I ordered a size that fit my foot, but I needed a size bigger so they sent that to me. Very good quality of a shoe. Not as cushy at all. It's solid.

So far so good, I've only got about 9 miles on these so far but they're very comfy. I've got a blister on my big toe but that might be because unlike tennis shoes, your toes can float around in these. Otherwise I'd say they feel good on a 12 hr. shift where I'm on my feet a lot. They're surprisingly light too, I wore wood clogs as a kid and these are MUCH lighter. They're not much to look at, but they are comfy and you feel tall in them which is fun.

I have worn Danskos for 15 years. I have always been size 46, had to get 47 in this model. It is everything you expect and a comfortable insert. Worth the extra price. I would strongly recommend this model.

Wonderful. It takes several days at least to break in Dansko's but they are starting to feel great even after a long day and night on your feet.

These are very comfortable, look great. I suffer from Plantar Fasciitis and when wearing my Dansko's I feel much less pain. Buying shoes from Zappos is also painless. They are great.

I needed a non-slip, black shoe for Culinary Arts at Olympic College in Bremerton, WA. I'm on my feet all day and the dish room is slippery. I've tried all the other versions of Dansko and the Pro XP is the only Dansko that doesn't hurt my feet. I have high arches and this shoe gives great support.

These have the durability of a boot but the comfort of a flip flop. I also tried the Dansko professional and the Sanita professional in the same sizes. The Dansko professional fit super wide and was very comfortable, but tended to slip on snow and wet surfaces and couldn't be worn realistically without thick socks. The Sanita was too short in 44 and the 45 was too long and wide. The pro xp was the best of the three. Size 44 EU; 10.5 Reg US.

I am in the corporate dining business and I have worn Dansko about 15 years now and purchased my first pair of Pro XP about four months ago as I wanted to have the extra cushioning that the Pro XP provides. I have to say investing the extra money is well worth it as these are the best Danksos that I have ever owned. They wear well and are a definite upgrade from the regular Dankso clogs that I have bought for years. Try a pair as you will not be disappointed. I hope Dansko will keep making these for years to come.

These seemed to be much smaller than the listed size. I am an 11.5 and ordered the 45 and couldn't get my feet into them.

Overal i liked this shoe and have owned other Dansko professional shoes in the past. I had to return this pair because they did not have the slip in the heel expected with this type shoe in my normal size. The heel fit tight like a regular shoe which would be uncomfortable over time as these shoes are designed to slip at the heel.

I'm a bartender. I own some of the regular Pro (not XP) clogs. I have always wished the topsole conformed better to my foot. It's quite firm. I bought the XPs because one of my co-workers said the topsole is cushioned. But I discovered that it is only partially padded, and in a weird way. It feels like there is a big lump under my big toe and little toe -- and it's definitely by design, not a manufacturing defect. I sent them back. Try them, maybe the lump won't bother you. They are definitely more cushioned than the regular Pro. I wanted to like them.

I wore regular Dansko clogs for 10 years before trying the XP version. I like them because they are much lighter weight, had better arch support, and seem to have better sole traction than the non XPs. However, I find them to be extremely narrow across the ball of my foot. This means I have to break them in slowly over several weeks - wearing them for a few hours of my shift and then switching back to other shoes. If I size up to where the toe box is comfortable, they are much too long and I trip over them constantly. I usually wear my clogs loose in the back as suggested by Dansko - but tripping over them is a problem. That said, these have held up very well to roughly 800 hours of serving work, including at least one 12 hour shift a week. I do not know if other people have this problem or not, but just something to be aware of.

They are very comfortable. The only problem is that within two weeks they smelled like mold. I have been wearing Dansko clogs for many years now and never had a problem before.

I paid lot of money just to torture my foot because it's so narrow that top of my foot would get bucher every time I have them on. Please do not buy it online. Buy it in store because then you know it's a good fit. Cannot return them since I wore them for 12 hours at work.
