I love these boots. Having said that, I might have to love them, because I might not ever be able to remove them. Literally. It took me a half hour, wearing thin, slippery trouser socks to get my feet into them. This is because I have an extremely high arch, and often have initial difficulty getting my foot into boots that have a narrow passage between the heel and where the top of the foot goes into the boot. Once I had grunted, pulled, and pushed in a manner worthy of a Youtube video, my feet were comfortably in the boots. Now I have to rest before the ordeal of removing them, and will probably have to enlist help to do so. These are the best looking snow boots I've found. If their leather is waterproof, as promised, they would be great. It is a bit difficult to tuck in even skinny jeans unless they fit like leggings. I will most likely return them because of my weird foot, but if you don't have this problem, I would recommend these boots!

I hate wearing socks so Uggs are the perfect winter footwear for me. I love the other pairs I've purchased. Since not all Uggs have the cozy fleece lining, I always read the description & double check the pictures making sure that they are fully lined instead of just having the fleece sockliner (insole). I was surprised to find that this style isn't fleece lined. They have the shorter fleece on the inside of the cuff and a fleece sock liner, but the area around the ankle and foot are fleece free. Because of this they will be returned. Other observations: They look a bit less clunky than most Uggs. The calf is also very wide...I have pretty big calves and they were still very loose.

This is a cute, casual style. I love the Ugg shearling lining. I did not find them especially difficult to get on and off and liked that the top could be laced tighter for a close fit. Similar to another reviewer they sagged at the ankle which makes them look much sloppier than I wanted. For that reason I am giving these an average rating. I need boots that look good with dressier work attire but if I was looking for something more casual I do not think the give in the ankle would have bothered me. I have had other Ugg waterproof snow boots and have been extremely happy with the quality and warmth they provided.

I got these and immediately put them on. I have a big foot and a skinny calf and had no issue getting them on. Just the right amount of room in the calf to fit skinny jeans in and I like the adjustable laces incase I want to wear thick socks or a cuff. I am used to breaking in heavy riding boots and these felt like they fit just right so I'm thrilled. They have a really beautiful vintage look to them which I love and can't wait for the temp drops to get out in them!

I fell in love with these. They are the perfect boot for what I was shopping for - warm, waterproof high boots to complement my athletic streetwear. I had no problem getting them on (they do have the zipper assist). I have more trouble with my stiffer Frye boots. They do buckle a bit at the ankle as others have mentioned but it doesn't affect my casual look. Most importantly for me, they don't gape at the calf. I have skinny legs and usually find boots to wide and too high for me. These snug right up against my skinny jeans or tights. The leather isn't as luxurious, but the lace and textural detail give a very chic look. Worth a try for sure.

Amazing boots. So stylish and comfy. Keep your feet warm, and I love the snug fit throughout. Runs a little small- normally wear a 7, but the 7 was so narrow (have wider feet). Ended up in a size 8. Probably a personal preference thing.

Love these lighter weight, cozy, more feminine, waterproof boots! Especially the adjustable laces at the top for any size calves... Smaller calves too which is hard to find. My feet are medium+ width and ordered my regular size - they fit perfectly. I got the dark brown and I get compliments on them every time I wear them. If you're on the fence about ordering them, just do it, you'll be happy you did.

This is a very comfortable boot but it is NOT for wide calves - I highly disagree with other reviewers. I have an athletic build, size 7-7.5 feet, with large calves and I had to loosen these as much as possible to be able to fit them over my calves. I originally ordered 7.5 but the foot was too loose so went to a 7. Honestly, I like these so much the calve situation doesn't bother me, but it means that these will take more time to put on. They do tend to "wilt" in the ankle area. I bought these to replace boots that only last 1 month and for the price I hope they last a LONG time but that remains to be seen.

These are very stylish, comfortable and warm. Only the footbed and the calf area are lined with fleece, not the entire boot interior. The zipper at the ankle rubbed a little, so I needed to wear socks. I have been looking for a pair of Uggs that I like for a long time, and these are the ones!

Love these boots! They are different and very cute! They are hard to get off and on at first. I have worn them a few times and are starting to loosen up a bit so they are getting easier to get off and on. Overall I would definitely recommend them!

These are great looking boots. They are a classic style. They are kind of a rugged/riding/work boots. I have trouble with boots because I have big feet for my body so the shaft usually swims on me but these look and feel good. They are warm and comfortable. The leather is not stiff. I measure about 9½ but got a size 9. They are perfect. I do usually wear a 9 in Uggs. They are great for walking around, shopping in comfort, playing with the kids, and still looking hip. They are waterproof, too! And I think they will look good and sexy with shorts in the fall and spring.

I love this boot. I have a pretty skinny calf and some times tall boots flop around on me but this was perfect. But goes right on and off and love the convenience of the ankle zipper. The ankle will slouch ever so slightly but not badly. It's real leather it should do that once broken in. I would buy them again and recommend them to others!

I love these boots of all the Ugg's I tried! They are really a sexy looking because of the contour shape. They do remind me of riding boots but better! I had a difficult time wearing them with thick (smart wool) socks I already had on but was told not to wear socks with these boots anyway. A friend who works for a boot store had already told me that these boots will stink if you wear socks. But when I removed that sock, oh the comfort! I didn't want to take them off! I tried on others but they made my ankle look fat and these don't. I have a high arch and assume that was the initial problem in putting these on but really after I removed the sock, no problem at all. I love the snug feel. Highly recommend for the slimmer leg built!

I've been looking for a very warm boot (I live in northern Wisconsin) that looks good with a variety of outfits and I finally found it! Normally I get an 8 in boots, but got an 8.5 because my extremely high arch made it difficult to get the 8 on. Got lots of compliments on these!

The best way I have found to remove tight boots is to use a boot puller from the equestrian store. Riding boots are always tight and this worked extremely well.

I fell in love with these boots when I saw them and planned to get two pairs. I decided to order one first to check them out. They arrived quickly and I could to wait to try them on. As soon as I did I knew I would have to return them. Getting them on was easy as I have slim feet (other reviews have stated it can be difficult) and they zipped right up. They appeared a bit clunky and not as tapered and clean of a look as I like. With that said though, the boot was beautiful and if I was braving tough winters and needed something a but more rugged I would for sure have kept them. Living in California these would have just been more for those rare chilly days. So sadly I returned them.

After looking hundreds of insulated and waterproof winter boots, I gave a try to this pair. I like the style of these boots. They felt comfortable and warm when I try them on. But when I wear these boots a couple of hours outside, they start to rub my ankle, especially when I put thicker socks on, felt very stiff on my feet. Maybe need to be breaking off, I hope it will work and stop rubbing, because it is really annoying. I wish these boots have a zipper from up to all away down, because it is very uncomfortable to taking them off. Every time I take them off my sucks stuck inside (But they felt very warm boots and I hope they will work for Maryland winter).

These boots are amazing. I wore them constantly all through last winter, they are indeed waterproof, and they held up nicely. One small thing happened though, the seal around the bottom got cracked from wear, and now there's an area where they allow a bit of moisture in. But that's only if you submerge your foot into water or slush. Other than that, they are perfect and I am going to super glue that area. I love them!

I really wanted to like these. But they are too wide for my calves and the fit is off. Tuns a little large as well.

This is a beautiful boot. I absolutely love it. But unfortunately I had to return mine because the calf wasn't wide enough. I have wide calves and have difficulty with high boots but thought this pair would fit because of the tie on top. But the tongue of the boot is small and attached to one side so when I tied it it didn't connect to the other side and left a gap. Other than that it felt comfortable and looked great. If you don't have large calves, I'd absolutely recommend this boot.

Similar to other reviewers, I absolutely love this boot and it is also absolute hell to take them off. I have a high arch and it's really difficult to navigate the curve between the ankle and the top of the foot in this boot. The zipper doesn't help since it's doesn't go up higher and the strap assist is in the back versus the sides which might make it easier. The good news is I don't have to wear super thick socks with these boots to keep warm. If I did, there would be no chance at getting these on. I'm happy with them but would caution anyone with a high arch as it really is a pain (figuratively and physically) to get them on.

Boot runs small. I ordered an 8 and it's too snug. Would need to try another size. Returning for now.

These boots are comfortable once you make it through the narrow ankle passage. I would have kept the boots if they didn't crinkle around the ankle area. The crinkling makes this expensive boot look cheap.
