Thank you Keen for FINALLY coming back with a maryjane style I can wear. I have lived in the Toyah MJ Black for years and could not believe it was discontinued. I was very disappointed with the latest styles that had to be sent back because the front of the shoe cut into my very high arches. SO grateful for Zappos and the ability to receive orders quickly and send back when it doesn't work. Thankfully, not with these. Plenty of room and very comfortable. My orthotics even fit in with no problem. Love the Gargoyle and will be purchasing the plain black and brown styles as well. Now Keen, please keep these at least for awhile. ;)

The shoe quality was really nice. The shoe is true to size. Lots of room for toes and great arch support.

I wear my black Presidio MJ for business travel: they are easy on/off at airports when my TSA Pre-Check doesn't come through, I can sprint through airports as needed for tight airline connections, and they can work well in an office setting. My current pair was bought two years ago (July 2016). I love them and I've been waiting for Keens to reissue so I could have a spare for the future. When I got the email notification from Zappos they were back in stock, I immediately ordered -- unfortunately, without looking at the updated photos on Zappos. My current pair is 100% pebbled leather uppers (see Photo 1); however the new pair has the pebbled leather only on the toe and heel with a smooth, suede-like material on the sides and strap (see Photos 2 & 3). Taking them out of the box, the suede-like material is already a dust and dog hair magnet, and I question how they would react to regular cleaning and conditioning. The inside footbed has also changed from the 2016 version. It is cushioned, but the surface has changed from a textured fabric to something that is smooth and slick. I think it is leather -- but not sure. The size was as expected. I wear a 12C, so 12B (regular) tend to be narrow and 12W (wide) tend to be wide. These are listed as a 12B but definitely on the wider side. If you have a narrow foot, you may not like the extra room or it may cause rubbing if you aren't wearing thick socks or tights. Keen does not regularly produce their "cute" women's shoes in size 12, so I was very excited. However, with the change in upper materials and concerns about how they will react to maintenance mean I will be sending them back. Another note on this shoe for those looking for a good walking shoe: these are great, but they are heavy and I find them slightly heavier than my sneakers. When you are trying them out, consider the weight versus your regular shoes so that you aren't surprised when your ankles/calves are tired at the end of the day.

I have a thin foot with a narrow heel and a wide toe area. I wear the Presidio lace-up style in a size 10 with a medium/light weight sock. I ordered the MJ version in a size 10 and 9.5, both were too big. The size 9 was my correct size with a Smartwool Secret Sleuth no show sock. However, all three pairs had a thick lump on the inner strap side of the shoe that made the shoe impossible to wear without pain. I also suspect that the inner side of the shoe was cut too high for my foot. The Presidio lace-up is one of my all-time favorite shoes that I have been wearing for many years now. The MJ version was a dream come true. The footbed is just as comfortable as my Presidio lace-ups. I was so very disappointed that this shoe rubbed me the wrong way. I tried everything I could think of to make it work.

If you have a narrow heel, these shoes are not for you. I usually wear a size 7 1/2. I inserted an orthotic over the shoe's insole and the shoe's heel was still too wide - my foot came up and out when walking. But, I did not think it would be possible for me to take the shoes in a size smaller. I thought the shoes were well made and I liked the red color/look.

I attend many dog shows...most on cement. By the end of the day my feet are typically killing me. After 10 hours in these shoes not only did my feet not hurt but my legs and back were pain free! I love these shoes! In addition, they are very cute, I have the blue ones.

These are awesome! I actually got a brown pair of these at Goodwill which I like but they are a bit too big so I figured I'd try the black ones in my actual size. They offer great support and are cute. I own several pairs of Keens and sometimes I have to order an 8 although lately their shoes seem true to size so I can order a 7.5 and they're perfect. My foot is a bit on the wide side but these are great. I have the Presidio lace ups too and they are just as awesome although not as "cute". I travel a lot and I think these just may be my new favorite travel shoe! As always Zappos is the best!

I am a big Keen fan, but also have found that some of their newer shoes seem to be made in increasingly thinner widths than they were years ago. Although my newer Keen Presidio lace up oxfords wound up being a bit too narrow and long (same size as before), these Presidios wound up being perfect. I have an old pair of Keen mary janes that these are replacing, but I do not remember their name. They have always been a bit big, but I like them that way. For these new Presidio mary janes, I ordered four different shoes, just to be safe. I ordered the Keen Presidio mj, the Merrell Dassie mj, the Earth Tanglewood (also an mj), and the Jambu Deep Sea (also an mj). Sadly, the Merrell and the Jambu were too narrow. The Earth almost made the grade, but while wearing them indoors I found that after about an hour the ball of my foot was feeling too pressured. The saddest part of this story is that the Jambu cut in very tightly to my the ball of my foot although the toes felt perfectly comfy. Sad? Yes, they were even cuter than the picture, they were in red, and it was hard to send them back. The Merrells were too tight near the pinky toes. These Keens do run a tiny bit large, but not as much as my older pair and not enough to change the Zappos setting to "runs large." I am going to order a second pair in black or brown when my returns come through. I wear them everywhere so I might get both the black and brown. I don't know about any other Keen customers, but I've always found my keens last seemingly lifetimes compared to other shoes. I'll add some Nikwax to them before the fall rains hit. These Presidio mjs are a replacement for another pair of Keen mjs that are eight years old. The only problems were that the stitching started to come undone after about seven years but I did not fix them as part of the heel of one outer sole came off at about the same time, so no point spending the money to repair when I can just buy new ones. I'm keeping the old ones for those quick trips to take the dogs out, etc. Keens are great for wide feet and especially for my feet which are wide at the toe box, the ball of the foot, and not wide at the heel. Keens always seem to fit my whole foot and are not just wide enough at the toes, too loose at the heel; they seem perfect for a normally wide foot. I do not have bunions, if that helps anyone make a decision. For those who are looking for a Keen that isn't gigantic at the toes, I recommend reading some of the Keen reviews that mention the shoe not being like a typical Keen fit (I think the Sienna has that kind of review, so I never tried it). There are some other styles out there that are narrower -- I had a pair of Coronados (like an old Converse style tennis shoe) that were way too narrow at the toe for me. These lovely Presidios are perfect for the wider foot. I'd post pictures but I don't see that option!

These are defiantly of a different and lesser quality than previous versions. The leather is not as soft and the shoe feels heavier. I normally wear a 7 and like my shoes roomy. The 7 was way too large, the 6.5 slips on my heel but I kept them anyway as I didn't have enough time to change out before a trip. They are comfortable and cute. If you don't have the old ones to compare them too I would says that Keen shoes really do hit the comfort zone. I just wish they hit it out of the park with these like they did with the older version.

I wish I could keep these. They are so lovely with great arch support. The width overall was really good. However, the area where the upper front meets the foot (just above the tendon to the big toe) is super tight. It rubs there terribly. The toe box is not the problem. It's the leather where the front of the shoe meets the skin...no give in that area at all. I can't even foresee it stretching at all (Keen's are so well made. This area has 2 layers of leather sen together. Very stable, very unstretchable). And eve if I could stretch it, I'd probably have a huge blister through the process. I've never had this kind of problem before with Keens or shoes in general. Sadly, I'll be returning them.

I have worn Keen Mary Jane styles for seven years and they have always fit wide, with lots of toe box, but nice fitting heel. I ordered half a size up as people suggested but after wearing the shoes for months, I get sore little toes from the more narrow shoe and my big toe aches from hitting the end of the toe box. I wish that I had simply sent them back, but I assumed that they would stretch out like all my Keen shoes have with lots of wear. Not so with these particular shoes (which I wear without socks). Advice to Keen, bring back the older styles with more width and a longer toe box!

Was really hoping these would fit... and they fit, they do run half size large so order down. But they are a loose fit and I pronate in so it didn't work for me... love them though.

Fun and cute "athletic" Mary Jane. I like the rubber bumper toe, the chunky sole, and the leather design. Supportive, stable, good arch, low heel. While the width accommodates my bunions, it is not quite wide enough for the tip of my big toes. If the toe box were more square, I'd be wearing these right now.

This is my second pair of Keen Presidio MJ shoes. I liked the sporty look of the grey/navy colors. I have wide feet that take an 8½W. In these Keens I wear an 8W, using an orthodic inside. They are super comfortable and great with jeans or a maxi skirt.

Just ordered my 3rd pair of the Keen Presidio Mary Jane's. I was afraid they would discontinue as they did with the Toyah. Shoe fits me perfectly. Supportive yet comfortable from first day. I also receive compliments on the style.

This darling mary jane is my seventh pair of Keens, and they simply confirm that I'll be back for more! You just can't go wrong with Keens, and although I've tried other brands and styles, I continue to be reminded that Keens are the most supportive, sporty, comfy shoe you can get. I'm on my feet a lot, and am very active, and the soles of these shoes support my every move. Fabulous arch support, and the soles wear SO well over time. Thanks to all the reviews on these mary janes though, I ordered a half size down (I'm a 9 and ordered an 8.5), and they fit perfectly. I'm just SO happy with my purchase!

I'd had these before and sadly had to return What I loved was the grippy sole and comfort but the sizing felt too floppy in the heel for me! Generally I love Keens and this is comfy like a sneaker Disappointed just because I couldn't get my feet to stay in them;)

These Keens are interesting but were way too big in the toe box area. I wear a 10 for length and have narrow feet. So if you need lots of area for your toes and a size 10 for length these may work for you.

The toe box was perfect, as are all Keen shoes, my favorite brand. Unfortunately, the heel was so wide that it wouldn't stay on my foot.

I was ready to love this shoe as I have ordered other Keen styles in the past two years. I was very disappointed when I got them as they were way too big. Plus the top of the shoe looked misshapen into what can only be described as clown shoes. I had to return them. I usually wear size 11 Keen's but in this style I don't think ordering the next size down will help. The shoe!s design is poor.

I'm so glad to still find this shoe at Zappos. This is my second pair, first pair has been much worn and loved and will soon hit the wastebasket. This shoe fits me just perfectly. Plenty of room in the toe box, adjustable strap makes it comfortable over the arch, GREAT support underfoot. You can walk in them all day long. Plus, they are CUTE! I wish Keen would make more casual shoes like this that I can wear in my work environment. I wish I'd bought more colors when they were still available!

The keen presidio Mary Jane is a comfortable, cute, easy on and off, stable shoe. Only wish it was still available in black, with the black "bumper" so I could wear it for work/going out and about town in a dress. I have RA with knee and foot issues. I was able feel like I "fit in" to participate in art walks, etc with my old black presidio mjs (my Minnie Mouse shoes). A little more self conscious with these but they re far more functional than the presidio II mj that has side flaps by the strap.

I love this shoe! A) So thrilled that a Keen women’s 11 is actually a women’s 11 at last—I used to be stuck with only the ugly men’s shoes in this brand. B) This shoe is cute, comfortable, and easy to get on and off—everything I want in a semi-casual shoe I can wear for work. I’m a nurse, and when Dansko narrowed the footbed of their maryjane clog, I thought I was screwed. I hope Keen will make this shoe again. C) A little leather treatment, and I think this shoe should last me well. It seemed very well-made. The only potentially weak point is the elastic element of the strap—that may require a shoe repair someday.

True to Keen, this shoe has a lot of room in the toes, and is very cute on the foot. My regular size - 10 - felt a little too large, and it slipped up and down on my heel a bit. I tightened the buckle, but will probably tighten it again. With a thin no-show footie sock, they are much better. Just for comparison, however, (thank you, Zappos, for your excellent shipping and return system!!) I ordered the next size down - 9.5 - which actually seemed to fit better, and didn't slip, BUT my toes came right to the end of the shoe. My toenails are cut pretty short at the moment, but once they are slightly longer in the summer, when I'll be wearing more sandals (and nail polish), I could tell the snug fit would be uncomfortable. Upshot... I'd rather have them a little loose than a little tight, so I'm keeping the 10s, sending back the 9.5's...... too bad they don't come in 9 3/4! Still, very cute, very comfy shoe. I'll be traveling a lot, and wanted a walking shoe that wasn't as casual a sneaker, nor something orthopedic-looking. These will work!
