As a hairdresser, I'm on my feet all day. I wanted something with a heel, that looked somewhat dressy and these were an excellent choice! There was no brake in period and my back felt incredible! I had a herniated disc (L5) in my lower back a few years ago, so I only wear shoes with arch support and rubber on the sole. Highly recommend these. Also got many compliments from the twenty something's at work!

Beautiful booties. Unbelievably comfortable & the quality is amazing; worth the price for sure. I know I'll have these for years and years. The burgundy color is gorgeous and you'd be surprised what colors it goes with. I am so damn happy I got these.

These have to be the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. Love love love them. The heel makes them so stylish. I bought another style of Born boot and it is not nearly as comfortable. Would order these in every color if I needed them.

The Born Ondine is true to size and comfortable. The heal height is perfect...stylish but doesn't throw you off. The materials and construction are high quality which is important for long life. I think this bootie is attractive and I like having something other than black or brown.

Perfect fit, right out of the box! Very comfortable! Great office boat for all the walking around I do. I find it to have the typical Born fit and comfort. the only drawback might be that I expected the leather to be a bit more "rustic" because of the picture. But I like it anyway. Great burgundy color.

I walk a mile back and forth to work every day and am on my feet quite a bit, so I was looking for a comfortable but fashionable boot. These are exactly what I hoped for! They are very comfortable without having to be broken in, and they feel well made and durable. They look great with a pair of jeans and the heel is not too high to be practical.

Very stylish, very comfortable, and the plaid lining makes these boots warm. The bordeaux color is very pretty. Perfect with a jean, or a sweater dress.

Best boots ever!! I never thought I could say that I can walk all over NYC in 2 3/4 inch heels but these boots are so comfortable that I'm doing exactly that. They are gorgeous and comfortable.

I love Born shoes and this boot is terrific. Very stylish and comfortable, and looks good with slacks and jeans. Another reviewer said she thought brand quality had declined, but I disagree. In my opinion, Born makes great shoes/boots and prices them very reasonably.

I decided that it was time I got a pair of stylish, cold weather appropriate, heeled black boots. These fit the bill! They're surprisingly comfortable and easy to walk (and walk and walk) in, even for someone like me who seldom wears heels. They work equally as well with jeans pulled over, skinny jeans tucked in, and tights and a skirt or dress. Absolutely love these.

Love these booties! I'm so picky about shoes, it took me a long time to settle on a pair I liked. I originally ordered the Frye Phoebe and they were really uncomfortable where they hit on the outside ankle. Finally I ordered these ones and they were perfect straight out of the box. The heel is just the right height- I can wear them all day and my iphone informs me I walk about 2.5 miles a day on an average work day. They also have some cushion in the footbed, which is really nice. I'm a 7-7.5, and a 7.5 is perfect with a little room to wear warmer socks. I know that Born is a really high quality brand and I have no doubt that these will last for years.

Wow - love these boots right out of the box! I have several pairs of Born boots and they do not disappoint. Since I haven't worn them yet (other than around the house), I will give an update once worn. But right away, I know I will love these. Classy looking, but casual and sturdy enough for my snowy winters. Perfect size heel for a little lift but not so high I will be teetering on them once 9 months pregnant in the middle of winter.

Love these boots. Comfortable right out of the box. I'm a flight attendant and these are my Paris and London layover shoes. They make any outfit stylish and polished. Walk all day and no pain. Wonderful.

This boot is exactly what I was looking for. I don't usually wear heels (really wobbly ankles and the balls of my feet begin to hurt soon after putting on any kind of heel), but I love the look heels give to an outfit. The heel on this boot is wide enough to provide stability, tall enough to feel dressy, short enough to not hurt after standing in them for hours, and still look feminine. I've worn these all day (from office to going out after work), and my feet are just barely beginning to twinge by the end of the night. I wear a 10-10.5 in most shoes, and these fit true to size in a 10. The footbed isn't as soft as some of my Clarks heels, for example, but I find Borns to be so well made that I almost always choose them over other shoes. Definitely recommended!

I am an avid Born boot girl. All day, everyday for work and play. I have slender foot but not quite to the point that I wear a narrow shoe and I have semi high arches (wear super feet in my running shoes). These boots did not have the same arch support as my previous boots - otherwise I would have loved them. I had to return.

I love Born; however, I ordered these in a 8.5 just like my other born shoes and I couldn't even get them on my foot. I checked the size as they looked really small out of the box but it said 8.5. Disappointing as I had to leave for two weeks vacation and didn't even have time to exchange them. Luckily Zappos policy allows me to return unworn goods for a year! Wow. Really want the boot but really have no idea what size to order.

I was disappointed that these boots had almost no cushioning for the balls of the feet. I returned them since I figured I'd have to go up a half size (or width) to accommodate an insert.

These are beautiful boots. Unfortunately, the quality of Born products has declined and they are just not as comfortable as they used to be. I need lots of cushioning under the ball of my foot, and I used to get that from Born. Not anymore. I have tried several Born shoes/boots over the last couple of years, but it seems I just keep sending them back. I am sad to have to remove this brand from my favorites list.

I agree with the other reviewer who said these shoes run much smaller and more narrow than other Born shoes. I adore these boots, but I can barely get my foot in them. I may try to order them in a bigger size.
